We bought this house because of its stunning seaside location and because there is so much to do in the area. It really is a beautiful part of Wales.

Well equipped, comfortable house in fantastic location.

We had a great week exploring Tywyn and surrounding area. Really enjoyed sitting on the balcony or rear patio area hearing the sea and seeing dolphins swim by. Tywyn has some nice places to eat and the cinema is a must visit. Nice walk along beach path into Aberdovey (1-2 hrs) 5mins train ride back. Good parking at Morfa Maddach and walk across railway bridge over the estuary into Barmouth. Handy for the stunning Cadair Idris. We'll be back.

stayed before but now it needs some TLC, its getting a bit run down

  • 2 of 5

when we arrived about 5pm, the people that was suppose to be in the beach house next door had gone in ours, they haad unpacked, made themselves a drink and whatever else they had done, we had to wait 15minutes for them to get there things moved into next door before we could go in, and after a 3 hour drive in bad conditions this isnt what we needed, its really put me off going again, there should be key pads with a code so there is no mix up, this spoilt our short break right from the start. the beach house itself need a bit of care, the patio doors from the lounge get stuck so very difficult to close, settes were looking very shabby and ripped also very uncomfortable.

Owner's Response: Thank you for reporting the sticking patio doors which we have reported to our maintenance man. Yes, we have had a problem with the sofas as they deteriorate due to exposure to sunlight from the west facing balcony doors but we do replace them from time to time. I’m sorry that our other guests accessed the wrong house, it has never happened before. We do have key safes but because of the proximity to the sea they can be affected by the salty air and seize up so we tend not to use them.

Perfect and relaxing

  • 5 of 5

Brilliant customer service. We had all of the information we needed and experienced no problems. This is our first time visiting Wales with our two children aged 6 and 15 months. The views are absolutely beautiful and the house was very clean. We could hear the waves which were very relaxing and had lovely walks on the beach. We visited the local steam train the children loved it. We would love to come back again it was a perfect getaway!
