Surrounded by farmland, woods and pretty villages, St. Pierre is a fantastic base for your holiday in this unspoilt area of the Lot. It's location makes it perfect for walking, cycling, horse-riding, golf or simply relaxing beside the large, chlorine-free freshwater pool. The property is set in 12 acres of land, including woodland and a small working vineyard, with lovely views over a quiet valley.

Why Dawn Jackson chose Saint-Cyprien
We'd been looking for a house in France for almost 20 years without success, but the first time we walked into St. Pierre it felt like home. We moved here permanently in 2009 and we love it - the peace and tranquility, the space and most of all, the weather! Our neighbours have been very welcoming and friendly, even when we completely mangle their native tongue! We're still exploring the local area and getting to grips with our very different way of life and it's great fun. We didn't set out to buy a vineyard but the vines and all the wine-making equipment came with the property so it's been a pretty steep learning curve. The result is unlikely to win any awards but we think it's drinkable - come along and try it for yourselves...

A great property in a beautiful location.
A fantastic, truly relaxing stay in this beautiful
Stunning views and friendly hosts
We absolutlely loved this house and the area.
We arrived early and dawn and Alex were both very welcoming. There was milk, bread, eggs, tea, home made jam and wine all waiting for us.
Dawn and Alex helped with any local information we needed.
The house was lovely and clean and well equipped.
Sitting outside and drinking tea in the morning and wine in the evening was so relaxing, the views are stunning. We ate out some nights but loved getting home and sitting on
the terrace playing games and enjoying a glass of wine.
The local markets/restaurants and super market were all brilliant.
The pool was great and the grounds incredibly well kept and perfect for a game of hide and seek!
The only downside for us as a family of six was one bathroom but then I feel that's reflected in the price.
I highly recommend this property.
Lovely location,very comfortable house
We loved this property. It was really comfortable and well equipped in a beautiful part of the Lot. Dawn and Alex are very friendly and helpful but not at all intrusive. There are lots of interesting places to explore and a brilliant local market at Montcuq, we liked to get there very early as it is busy later in the morning. The weather was so hot for the fortnight we stayed that we spent most days by the pool which is wonderful, very well maintained and the best ever for swimming in, the water feels fantastic, must be the lack of chemicals and salts. We were glad to have a bedroom downstairs as it was exceptionally hot.
Would love to stay again soon

The location was beautiful and peaceful. The pool was perfect and the owners were very friendly and made us feel at home. Highly recommended.
Fantastic hosts and stunning location in rural rustic France. Great place if you simply want to eat good food and switch off from the world.
We have stayed here two years running for 3 weeks in August and have another year booked! I am a little reluctant to leave a good review because I don't want anyone to take our slot!
The owners are lovely and make us very welcome, offering the kids rides on the tractor, grapes, sweetcorn, etc. Nothing is forced on you though...keep yourselves to yourselves if you like, but you'll be missing out!
The pool, gite, grounds and surrounding area are all fab! We really can't fault anything about our holidays here!
You could just unpack and relax or equally go and do anything you like. There are rivers and lakes to swim or canoe in, pretty French villages, cycling, plenty of history, theme parks...whatever you want really, but you really need your own car if you want to go out and about or even if you just want to go out and eat.
The owners are English and have helped us tremendously with appointments with vets when preparing to return home and with the local Doctor and hospital in our time of need!
