Holiday Home in Marloes, Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, Wales - Peaceful Village Location, Close To Stunning Beaches, Walks and Wildlife
About Judith Rutherford
My name is Judith and I live near Winchester with my Husband and 2 children.
Why Judith Rutherford chose Marloes and St. Brides
I had my first holiday in Marloes at the age of 6 months and have so many happy memories of wonderful family hoildays there ever since. We are now enjoying creating those same experiences for our family. Owning Kilhay is our dream and we hope to one day be able to be there permanently. In the meanwhile, we spend as much time there as we can and hope that others will also enjoy the magic the Pembrokeshire coast can offer.

A restful time
Just what we needed some where quiet and relaxing to take away the stresses of life. Excellent property well maintained owner very helpful to us
Could just do with a handrail to the side of the steps to aid the less mobile.
We will return.
Spacious property in a wonderful location
Very nice, had everything we needed. It was so close to Marloes Sands and the Pembrokeshire coastal walks, so perfect for us
Relaxing and spacious
Having stayed at Kilhay before just as a couple, it was a whole new experience to bring another family of four with us, but even with 4 adults, a teen and a very energetic 7-yr-old in the house there was plenty of space and quiet to be found.
During the week we went to Marloes Sands twice, where there was plenty to entertain with sandcastle-ready white sand, plenty of rock pools teeming with life and exhilarating waves for the taller water lovers. Runwayskiln is a new cafe this year next to the car park and is highly recommended, serving delicious food with an incredible view.
A short drive away we also visited Haverfordwest, Broad Sands, Martin's Haven (where we saw seals with their pups), and Milford Haven - but most of the time we enjoyed the space and resources at Kilhay to relax and enjoy our family holiday.
Lovely, spacious accomodation
This house has everything you need. Kitchen well equipped, beautiful sunny garden, spacious, clean, welcoming house. Good communication with Judith from first booking.
We were only there for a weekend and spent one of the nights on skomer, however would love to come back and explore the area further.
This is an ideal location if you want to walk some of the Pembrokeshire coastal path.
Home from home
A lovely cottage in a picturesque town minutes from stunning beaches. The cottage is much bigger than we thought, with a playroom and toys all on site. The kitchen is really well equipped which made cooking family meals really easy, with a view and access to the garden. We were really comfortable and will be back!
So sad to leave....
Wonderful holiday, house perfect as always!😄
There are some fantastic beaches within easy reach of our property, many of them award winning. There is huge variety, from secluded tidal beaches with amazing rock pools reached via cliff top walks to large sheltered bays with adjacent car parks ideal for watersports.
Musslewick and Marloes Sands are less than a mile away and, Dale and West Dale just a few minutes in the car.
Our website (see link below) has more details of a selection of our favorite ones but there are many more to explore!
