We are an English couple who have been holidaying with our children (now all grown and gone but coming back for holidays!) in Florida since 1980. We were looking for a condo in the perfect location - convenient for the attractions, golf, shopping and easy access to both coasts. We also wanted spacious accommodation in a gated development with a pleasant community feel and amenities such as pool, jacuzzi, gym, and games room. Terrace Ridge met all these requirements and we actually bought our condo 'off plan' and watched each stage of the build. We then selected a totally co-ordinated interior design package using top quality furniture and furnishings. We aimed to combine a 'home from home' with comfort and luxury. Our condo at Terrace Ridge has more than lived up to our expectations!

Why Owner chose Davenport
Peaceful location yet only 40 minutes from Orlando International and 60 minutes from Sanford. Convenient for Disney, Sea World, Universal and all other Central Florida attractions. More than a dozen excellent golf courses are within striking distance. Supermarket, fast food outlets, pharmacy and petrol station 2 minutes drive. Shopping centre 10 minutes drive. Florida Mall. Lakeland Mall and Outlet Shopping are 20 - 25 minutes drive. Junction of I-4 just 3 minutes giving access to both coasts and their beaches in little over an hour.
What makes this Condo unique
The property is fully equipped and we hope all needs have been anticipated and catered for. There is a television in the lounge and both bedrooms. There is a master bedroom with en-suite facilities and a separate double bedroom and bathroom offering maximum privacy. The condo is on the first floor and serviced by stairs and a lift/elevator. It is convenient for everything yet peaceful and private. Our property managers are approachable to attend to any issues or problems you may encounter during your stay.

Ok place, good location
The condo was good EXCEPT when we arrived for a 7 night stay there was only 1/2 a roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and a small used bar of soap. Made me wonder if the unit had been cleaned before we arrived. there were no paper towels and only 1 extra trash bag, not adequate for a 7 night stay. i also thought it was ridiculous that you are to start a load of towels before you go ! I think the cleaning fee should have covered more !

Thanks for getting back to us with a review and we are sorry you encountered issues. There is no excuse for a used bar of soap or half a roll of toilet paper and we will be taking this up with our U.S. management. Can you please tell us what you mean by 'having to put on a load of towels before your left' as this requirement was news to us and certainly is not a requirement or what we expect. Were you asked to do this? And, if so, how was the request made? This feedback is a great help as we aim to please and hope this did not spoil your holiday. Dave and Gill

Just a follow up . As promised, we took this up with our management company . We had no prior knowledge of the request to load the washer. Great location, condo was very clean and well designed
We really enjoyed the condo. The location was close to all amenities.the resort was gorgeous with a beautiful pool. The condo was very clean and fully equipped. The 2 bedroom is designed so each bedroom has its privacy. Large master bathroom and ensuite. A good supply of towels, cutlery and dishes. Will definitely return and recommend to friends.

Exactly What we hoped for
Very good standard condo and good value for what we paid, good pool facilities, (we didn’t have time to use the clubhouse even though we were there 16 days)
Looking at previous reviews people had mentioned about a dirty carpet, but it looked to be all new floor coverings through out now, and we were quite impressed with the plush carpets.
Really good kitchen and washing facilities, with some emergency start up cleaning supplies (wash powder, dish washer tabs...) which was handy. There is also some beach towels which is handy for the pool so no need to pack your own.
2 minute drive from the publix supermarket, McDonald’s and shops, and a new fuel station was just about to open with convenience store as we were leaving.
Publix is a higher end supermarket (think M&S) if your looking for a cheaper ’big’ shop you may be better driving to the Walmart.
Handy location, Disney parks around 20 mins drive, universal studios about 35 mins, both straight down the I4.
All in very impressed and would definitely use again.

A beautiful newly refurbished apartment in a quiet development near to Walt Disney World
The 3 of us have just returned from a fantastic vacation. Newly refurbished, spacious apartment. Balcony with sun in the morning. Kitchen well stocked with appliances and equipment. Clubhouse with new treadmills and pool table. Quiet pool area with warm pool and hot tub. Supermarket walking distance, large gym and Tropical smoothie bar on same retail area. Selection of eateries nearby.
Disney exits 15 mins. A great place in an excellent location for your vacation. Would highly recommend.
Nice location, secure, convenient.
Over all we were satisfied, but a few details need attention, The carpet in the Master BR needs a good cleaning or replacing. Also the tile floors could use a good deep cleaning. Your socks or feet get dirty on the bottom from walking on the floors.
Also we were lead to believe the condo was on the first floor, when in reality it is on the 2nd floor. We were OK with that because there was an elevator, but it could be very disappointing to someone else.

There was never any intention to mislead as to the floor location. Being British, the unit is on the first floor - we start on the ground floor then 1st floor, 2nd floor, etc. It would appear the U.S. numbering system is that the ground floor is regarded as the first floor.
Interstate 4 is 5 minutes away giving access to the beaches on the east and west coasts. Approximately 1 - 1.5 hours drive.
Orlando Airport 30 minutes.
Sanford Airport 60 minutes.
Interstate 4 - 5 minutes.
U.S. 192 - 10 minutes.
Disney - 12 minutes.
Sea World - 20 minutes.
Universal - 25 minutes.
Busch Gardens - 60 minutes.
Kennedy Space Centre - 90 minutes.
Florida, Prime Outlet, Millenium, and Lakeland Malls - 30 minutes.
There is a large Publix supermarket, CVS pharmacy, a petrol service station, and fast food outlets 2 minutes drive away.
Additionally further facilities at Champions Gate and department stores and restaurants at the I-4 junction with Highway 27.
