This wonderfully restored 14th century half-timbered town house is situated very close to shops and restaurants in the wonderful medieval city of Dinan. La Vieille Auberge is believed to have been built in 1386 - Artisan style, with a slate roof, (originally thatched), granite stone block walls and half timbered frontage. Reputedly one of the oldest houses in Dinan. The house has been carefully restored, maintaining many of the old world features and charm but updated with 21st Century amenities.
The house is quietly located, close by the English Garden, the spectacular Ramparts and the church of St Sauvier, but just a few steps from the busy shopping streets and famous cobbled route to the lovely old Dinan Port.
The accommodation is split over three floors, with modern kitchen, dining and comfortable lounge (with gas-log fire) on the ground floor, two lovely bedrooms with en-suite and separate WC on the first floor, and large medieval-timbered lounge room in the roof space, with wet bar (fridge and sink), TV, DVD, IPOD Dock and French Day-bed on the second floor.
