I loved the apartment.
This apartment was so spacious, very clean with all the essentials you would need to make it an amazing week. With it being only a short walk to the town, restaurants, beach and beautiful walkways also got my approval. I will definitely go back and highly recommend to anyone. Loved my stay.
Many thanks for your kind review. So pleased the apartment so fully met your needs. Looking forward to welcoming you back to Stavordale House.
Very clean and tidy. excellent location.
So pleased that the apartment worked out well for you. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you again.
Spotless home away from home
My husband and I have been using the flat for many years and have never been disappointed in the very high quality of the accommodation, in a quiet road, with everything provided for a comfortable holiday including a selection of books, puzzles, dvd's and cd's.
With a well equipped kitchen with a cooker, a microwave, a toaster and a fridge with a small freezer shelf there is the option of cooking if you can resist the wide variety of places to eating . There is even a communal washing machine and tumble dryer.
In the welcome pack there is a contact mobile number on which text queries are answered promptly.
There is access to a free internet to get up-to-date information on nearby places of interest to visit.
With a designated car parking space per flat at the front of the building with easy access to the main roads there are no problems jumping into a car to visit attractions further a field.
But if you fancy a wander the seafront is a short walk away through an underpass under a busy road and walkway with picturesque views of the swans on a lake one side and the harbour full of sailing yachts on the other, with the added bonus of not having to tackle any steps other than a few kerbs, before reaching the esplanade with plenty of seats for soaking up the sea views.
During the summer months there is a land train that runs along the seafront making easy access to The Lodmoor Park with a Brewers Fayre restaurant, the Sealife Centre and The Sand World sculptures to visit with a bird sanctuary to wander around just around the corner.
In the opposite direction there is the Nothe Fort and Gardens which involves a bit more of a hilly walk but is rewarded with some higher views of the sea.
When our time away comes to an end it is always good to see the woman who keeps the flats so up to scratch and who always wants to know of anything to make our stay more enjoyable.
Our holidays are always made more pleasurable by knowing that we have no worries about our accommodation from the friendly emails involved in the booking process to the friendly farewell and the excellent flat to stay in.
Thanks for your kind words. We work very hard to ensure that the entire process, from booking to check-out is not just painless but pleasurable. Our customers are very important to us and that is why we pay attention to every detail to help ensure that during their stay there are no irritating niggles that can take the shine off what should be a relaxing and carefree time away from home. We receive many compliments on the impeccable standard of our housekeeping and for that we are hugely indebted to the wonderful Gina who is equally passionate about the house and the many guests who repeatedly return.
Great stay in Stavordale House
The flat was immaculate, very comfortable and well equipped. Clearly the owners put a lot of effort into providing this excellent accommodation. The allocated off-street parking space was a real bonus.
This was a great base for exploring the wonderful coastal path walking between Weymouth and Swanage.
I'd recommend the flat to anyone looking for a comfortable base in the area.
So pleased you enjoyed the apartment and your stay in Weymouth. We do indeed put immense effort into ensuring that our apartments are maintained to the highest standards and fully equipped to meet the needs of our customers.
Comfort & Convenience
We have stayed in this flat several times now and always find it very clean, comfortable and well equipped. It is in an ideal location, within walking distance of both town and beach and with its own designated parking space, a very real advantage in Weymouth. We shall definitely be staying here again in the future.
The flat was very close (an easy walk) to the town, beach and quay side which was great. It looked smart, clean and tidy throughout and was well equipped. We had a lovely time in Weymouth and would love to come back and would recommend a stay here.
Many thanks for your kind words and so pleased you had a good time. We work very hard to ensure that our apartments are maintained to the highest standards and I will pass on your positive comments to our wonderful housekeeping staff.
It's literally a five minute walk from Stavordale House to Weymouth beach with no hills or steps to navigate. The glorious sandy beach is one of the finest in the country and with its immensely shallow slope it is exceptionally safe for swimming and for children. The views are spectacular with the stunning 'World Heritage' Jurassic coastline in one direction and the imposing Isle of Portland in the other.
