Villa in Cala Vadella, Nr. San Jose, Ibiza - Quiet Residential Location, Just 8 Minutes Walk From Cala Vadella Beach
- English, French, Spanish
Mid thirties couple who have been coming to Ibiza for many years, now with a young family.
Why Lynsey chose Sant Josep de sa Talaia
We bought this property because we love the beach of Cala Vadella. It is widely recognised as one of the best on the island: large, sheltered and gently sloping, surrounded by spectacular rock formations on both sides but never too crowded even in high summer. Importantly it is a year round location - several of the seafront restaurants are open year round and very popular with the locals - especially on Sundays. Finally, it is far enough away from Ibiza Town and San Antonio to have a really relaxed and peaceful vibe, but you are within striking distance of the night-life if you want it.
What makes this Villa unique
We've been coming to the island for many years. Now having a young family ourselves we wanted a luxury chilled out Ibizan property that was also totally kid friendly and safe. As a result, it is an excellent place for several families to holiday together. The terrace gives plenty of space to run around, access to the pool can be restricted and there a loads of cots, baby monitors, toys and games to keep the kids happy. Best of all is the fact that it is a short walk to the beach where they love to hang out all day.

Casa Tres was a beautiful Joint birthday experience for our 1st visit to Ibiza, Spain!
Our group arrived June 2019, stayed a week and we loved every minute of it! The communications with the owner Lynsey prior were always valued, our Welcome greeting by Nicola was warm and friendly, and our group of 13 truly felt at home, peaceful and happy right from Day 1. The home was spacious so everyone had their resting/sleep areas, we loved the pool and outdoors lounging areas, and the rooms were wonderfully more updated than we even anticipated. Its a lovely home and felt ideal! Overall, a perfect time for our 1st travels to Ibiza & would truly suggest to anyone considering travelling there make your way to Casa Tres and Cala Vadella... Thank you for the Memories.. J.
Prefect place in the sun
My friend booked Casa Tres for us then sent us the link. The place looked amazing in the photos yet I somehow convinced myself it could not be as nice in reality - how wrong is was. It was stunning. Even better than I ever hoped for. It is the prefect place for a group of friends. Enough space to spread out then a big outdoor (and indoor) table to share meals together. It is a short stroll down to a secluded cove with a sandy beach with a few really good restaurants with outdoor seating. Chilled white wine by the sea then a walk home - prefect. No driving needed. I saw it says you need a car but we hardly used ours as all I needed was within walking distance or at the house - a good book by the pool and wine. My idea of heaven. I also found Ibiza surprisingly beautiful. We all have heard of its reputation and I was slightly worried it would be party central everywhere. If you want that scene it is there but we easily avoided all of that and had an amazing holiday. I cannot wait to return.
A really special place to holiday with friends
My second stay at Casa Tres and I was worried I had oversold it to my friends on their first visit - not so, I was not disappointed and neither were they. Gasps of delight as everyone arrives and the best villa, by far, I have ever stayed in. We were a group of friends - the place totally works for big groups. I love the different outdoor living areas which mean you can always find a new view or a bit of privacy if you need it (e.g. numerous roof terraces, the outdoor bar). All the rooms feel special, so nobody feels they have a raw deal.
The communal eating areas are spacious and the kitchen equipped to handle the numbers.
I love this place so much that I was often reluctant to leave (uncharacteristic of me). When we did we only had to wander 15 mins, down to the beautiful sandy cove, great for swimming and al fresco eating.
Perfect Ibiza holidays...
The house is just wonderful and would be ideal for a family with small children, or a group of friends looking to party by the pool. Sunsets from the roof terrace are a real highlight! You have the feeling of really being away from the crowds, yet only a short walk to the pristine beach at Cala Vadella. Can't recommend enough.
Idyllic and beautiful Villa in the heart of Ibiza
I spent a blissful week with a group of friends in Casa Tres. The villa could not have been more amazing and magical exceeding al expectations. We spent much of our stay on Ibiza enjoying the pool, lounging around the many different areas from poolside, the seclusion of the beautiful sheltered garden (day and night), watching the sun set with cocktails on the terraced roof top and enjoying the outside bar area at night. The expanse of sea can be seen from the many terraces of the villa providing a lovely backdrop and sometimes beckoning you away from the villa to venture into it.
The villa catered for our large group, with its beautiful rooms and bathrooms, its well equipped kitchen, the outdoor eating area where we enjoyed our breakfasts and lunch and the indoor / outdoor lounging areas.
The turret or separate tower was fought over :) , offering a magical self contained sleeping area and ensuite bathroom and it's roof terrace accessed by a lovely spiral staircase.
Although one could easily stay in the villa as it offered everything we needed, we explored the local beach, just a short walk away and the lovely restaurants and bars at night. The local shops have everything you need and the rest of Ibiza is within easy reach if you want to head to bars and clubs or other beaches, which we did on a few occasions.
I will definitely be heading back to Casa Tres. It is one of the most wonderful holidays I have had combining the Villa, the friends and all the wonderful things Ibiza has to offer.
On a final note, our experience of the owners from the time of booking and any needs we had while were there was impeccable. Thanks and I hope to stay again.
Stunning villa in great location
Stayed here last summer with 10 friends (as well as 2 young children). The villa is idyllic. And perfect whether you want to chill out with friends and family by the pool or if you want to host a BBQ with a few drinks at the outside bar(!) in the evening.
You never feel short of space to explore with a large kitchen, loads of space around the pool, in the house or in the gardens (where if you are lucky you can pick fresh lemons and limes) ... or even on the roof top sun terraces -I recommend watching the sun set with a Negroni on the Castle annex, beautiful. If you can drag yourself away from the pool, the quiet secluded beach is very pretty and only 5 minutes walk away with a couple of nice places to eat along it as well as a couple of small shops. Cala d'Hort and sunset views of Es Vedra only 5 minutes drive away (again, not to be missed!). If you want to venture further afield Ibiza town is a short 20 min drive away and some of us let our hair down for a night and found it easy to get reasonably priced taxis home.
The only challenge you will have is whether you try to bag the grand master bedroom or one of the cool en-suite annex rooms! Loved our stay here!
Located 8 minutes walk from Cala Vadella, with its child-friendly sheltered bay, picturesque beach and choice of beach restaurants. Several more formal restaurants in addition to a supermarket, with fresh daily bread, and several boutiques make the village popular all year round with both locals and tourists.
The villa is a 10 minute drive from San Jose and a 20 minute drive from Ibiza airport. Car hire is recommended.
The major resorts of Ibiza town and San Antonio are 25 and 15 minutes drive respectively. Some of Ibiza’s most picturesque beaches are only a 5-10 minute drive away, including Cala Moli and Cala Tarida, renowned for its spectacular sunsets. Ibiza offers some of the best nightlife in Europe and the islands many clubs, bars and restaurants are readily accessible from the villa.
