Sleeps 8. Cragganmore Lodge has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a large open plan sitting/dining/kitchen area that copes with 8 people in comfort. Ideal as a base for walking, fishing, touring or simply relaxing in a very peaceful location on the banks of the River Spey along the road that leads to Cragganmore Distillery. There are many walks right from the Lodge (The Speyside Way passes within 100m) and within an hours drive there are numerous attractions such as the Cairngorm National Park, the Highland Capital Inverness, miles of the Morayshire Coast, and Whisky Distilleries too numerous to mention. There is a petrol station, shop and restaurant all within 2 miles.

About Howard Perkins
We have lived in Scotland since 1984 and have spent many years climbing mountains all over Scotland. We first started staying in holiday cottages when our daughter was born and wanted a place of our own ever since.
Howard Perkins purchased this Chalet in 2005
Why Howard Perkins chose Ballindalloch
The North East was an area that we hadn't visited much. It's only about 3 hours drive from the Central Belt of Scotland and so is easy to get to for weekends, but still far enough for it to be a world away. It is so easy to relax at Cragganmore - it is so peaceful and yet there is still plenty to do and explore. As many of our guests have said - a home away from home!

Charming lodge in a beautiful location equipped with all home comforts
Very clean comfortable lodge . Towels and bed linen smelt freshly laundered.
Kitchen well equipped with everything you could possibly need for all meals also included washing up liquid , tea towel etc . Washing machine came in very useful with three small children !! Again two clothes indoor dryers and drying area outside .
Welcome bottle of wine was a thoughtful touch . We had a lovely stay and explored surrounding areas taking in a day trip to Cullen ( very beautiful) , landmark ( fun had by all the family ) Lots of stunning walks .
Would thoroughly recommend this property .
Great stay in this beatifull part of the world in a cosy comfortable lodge.
We stayed as a group of 2 family's off four and the Lodge is spacious enough whereby you have enough room and don't feel on top of one another. 2 bathrooms which really helps when 2 family's sharing. Stunning setting with some great walks nearby and Aviemore an easy drive away with plenty of activities.
If staying with children would highly recommend the trip to see and feed the wild reindeer heard which sets off each day from near Aviemore at 11 o'clock. Need to arrive at the booking office earlier say 09:45 to ensure your place though as tickets sell out daily.
Owner was available to answer any question and if we ever return to this part of the world would certainly be more than happy to return to this Lodge.
Everything you need and in the great place to travel to all the sites.
Perfect place for us ,clean
and tidy everything you need nice and warm all the time .A very safe place lots of parking and the walks just around the lodge are great lots of history around. A perfect place to start form if you like whisky, wild life and walks .We will be going back again next year and yes in the winter because the place looks just magic.
Relaxing & a beautiful situation
Plenty space & all you need to enjoy a relaxing holiday. Beautiful situation (even though the satnav got confused !!) we were fortunate with the weather which allowed us to explore the surroundings on the doorstep. Perfect position for whisky country & all that beautiful Speyside has to offer. Also thank you for the welcome bottle of wine.
