This is a modernised 2 bedroom apartment (April 2017) and sleeps 4 comfortably. The apartment is on the 2nd floor, overlooking the gardens and pool and gets afternoon sun each day. An ideal base for couple or small families. There are plenty of attractions close by, Tivoli world, Sea Life, Aqualand, Crocodile Park, Selwo Dolphin Park. Also within a short walking distance is Paloma park where you can feed the ducks, have a stroll and chill out. We also have another apartment on the same floor which has been modernised. So ideal if two families want to holiday together but want their own space. The apartment is in a quiet residential area of Benalmadena. We also have other apartments in different blocks, please enquire. Puerto Marina is ten minutes away and there are lots of restaurants, gift shops and activities for people of all ages. You can catch the ferry to Fuengirola, or hire a yacht!

About Mr B Thompson
We were lucky enough to buy this property quite a few years ago and have made lots of changes over the years. In 2017 new aircon has been fitted in each room, we had a new bathroom fitted with rain shower head over the full sized bath, new kitchen with ambient led lighting. New beds with orthopedic mattresses have been put in all apartments. We enjoy doing something each year to all our apartments. In January 2018 we retiled the apartment all the way through and it looks fantastic!

Great hospitality from the owners throughout our stay.
We had a marvellous stay in apartment 203 where everything was perfect. It has recently been renovated and we were the second Guests in and we could see the owners Barry and Claire had put much thought into everything from the fridge full of goodies on our arrival from the milk for a cuppa, beer to refresh us and bottles of red and white wine we both enjoyed on the balcony. There was plenty tea, coffee, sugar and hot chocolate to drink as well. Although we didn't eat in much as it was so cheap to eat out the kitchen was very well designed with full oven, hob and cooker hood, microwave with grill, fridge/freezer and a brilliant washing machine that had a great fast wash cycle. The beds were better than we have at home and mattresses lovely and thick and crisp linen sheets and large fluffy towels and on arrival we had towel art on the bed and a nice touch of a chocolate on each pillow. The bathroom was amazing with a rainforest shower, towel warmer and there was plenty of hot water all day every day. There was a tv in the living room and one of the bedrooms and it was great that we could watch different channels at the same time. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony most days although two days at the beginning it was rainy! We thoroughly enjoyed Benalmadena and walked our feet off as everything was close at hand. We went to Malaga on the train a few times and found the city welcoming and will definitely go back when we return to Benalmadena again. The public transport is frequent and timetables easy to follow and the fares excellent. We shall be returning again and as we are now retired will hope to stay for six weeks each stay and want to come over four times a year as we like to get away as often as we can now and enjoy our retirement. Thank you Barry and Claire we can see how much hard work you have put into apartment 203 and it was great to meet you at last. You really do go that extra mile and now we don't want to stay anywhere else. We shall be in touch shortly.
Beautiful apartment which we stayed in April then again in September. The apartment is immaculate clean and all furnishings and fittings are of a high standard . The owners Barry and Claire we met and they are friendly and really care about their guests. Lovely little touches cold beer in fridge when we arrived and a guest hospitality tray . The apartment is home from home and all you need are your clothes . There is even body wash and body lotion supplied. Both myself and husband will only stay in this apartment in future as there could not be anything better .

The nearest beach Malaspequera - Gloria Bendita is a 5 minute downhill walk. 2 sunbeds and a parasol is 9 euro a day (Aug ‘18) There are plenty of beaches along the coast and if the fancy takes you even a nudist one too!
The beautiful Puerta Marina is a leisurely 10 minute walk away, there are international restaurants and plenty of boat excursions available.
Please be aware there are lots of beaches along the coast, our nearest is 5 minutes away. The beaches have been awarded the European Blue Flag.
The apartment is a 15 minute drive from Malaga airport. Car hire is not essential, but if wanted there are plenty of car hire places. If you hire a car please let us know so we can give you the fob to the private car park and tell you where to park. The approx cost of a taxi from Malaga airport to Benalmadena is 25 euro. We also recommend Taxibenalmadena but you need to contact him in advance please, ask us for details. If you wish to take the train the cost is approx €2.05 (August ‘18) per person to Arroyo de la Miel. The local taxi service is very efficient and reliable. Arroyo de la Miel is a 5 minute walk and the white washed village of Mijas a twenty minute car journey. Malaga, which was the city of culture in 2016 is approx 30 minute train ride into the city and 3.40 euro return from Arroyo de la Miel. If you wish to go to Gibraltar, the approx cost by coach is €15, look out for special deals, the journey takes around 11/2 hours. Passports are essential when going to Gibraltar.
We use a local licenced excursion company, look out for Days Out Andalucia.
There are supermarkets close to the apartment serving freshly baked bread and groceries, numerous international restaurants are close by and banks within walking distance. The well known Bonanza Square (the British area) is a 5 minute walk away. There are a choice of restaurants and cafe bars to a wonderful ice cream parlour. Arroyo de la Miel (the Spanish area) is a short distance away and well worth a visit. An atm machine is situated on Bonanza Square if you need to get euros out of your account, and there are plenty of banks close by. There is a Church for all dominations on Bonanza Square and Mass is taken there.
There lots of great tapas bars in the resort and we recommend trying El Refugio at Edificio Cielomar. For quality tasting cocktails try The Snug also at Edificio Cielomar. Also there is The Harp Bar where you can get delicious meals at excellent prices.
There is a guest information folder in each apartment with leaflets from many of our favourite places to eat and suggestions of places to visit and the local attractions nearby.
We have a great team working for us so there is always someone at hand if you're wanting or needing something.
