A warm and welcoming holiday cottage in a peaceful rural setting.
I loved staying in the cottage. Gordon and Sandy were very helpful and always available when needed. The neighbours were also very kind and helpful. I felt very much at home during my stay. It was beautiful and peaceful.
Thank you so much Thanuja for your kind review.and leaving the cottage in such a clean condition. Hope your little dog enjoyed his last days there too. RIP.
Well equiped and good value.
The cottage (which is really a bungalow) is very well located for exploring East Sussex attractions such as Charleston Farmhouse, the South Downs Way, Herstmonceux etc. It' is in a small development of about 30 similar bungalows which was a surprise at first but it actually works very well. There is a central laundry and information point. The grounds of the manor house are freely available with a fine lake. The property is well equiped and comfortable and the price is reasonable. Dogs have to be on leads in the estate but there is a good field adjacent for a run.
Thank you so much for your comments and for leaving the cottage so clean and tidy.
We had a nice an quiet week. Perfect place to go on tour in Sussex and especially the coast.
Thank you for the kind review and leaving the cottage in the condition you found it.
Very quiet place to stay
Generally all good. However bed linen needs renewing particularly duvets and pillows. One of the beds is very soft and could do with being replaced.
