A lovely 4 bedroom villa, 3 bathrooms, huge pool and pool side casita, several terraces for alfresco dining, drinking and relaxing. Enjoying spectacular views in the best location, a private villa development established over 30 years ago, (not a building site). Within walking distance we have two extra pools and a tennis court plus a members only club house bar facility, ideal for sending the kids to spend the afternoon. The village of Benidoleig is 5 minutes by car, with bars, restaurants, supermarket, baker, chemist, church and bank. And within 10 - 20 minute drive we have the town of Ondara with the huge Eroski supermarket and other shops in an air conditioned mall, sophisticated Denia and pretty Jávea, with golf courses, shops, beaches and yacht clubs. The mature development has a service office where the English speaking staff will help you with any other requirement you may have (in particular useful for those unforeseen problems or an emergency).

My name is Miles Turner and I have lived and worked in this area of Spain all my life, my parents moved here in the early 70's and we run a small family business dedicated to building and services. I manage this villa on behalf of the owners,so you will enjoy the benefit of having somebody near by to solve any of those problems that may occur during your visit.

”We had a wonderful stay at Villa Clara Vista when we stayed in August 2008.

The whole house was well equipped and felt very comfortable and safe. The view is stunning and the privacy is something very special to behold after spending so much time in crowded cities.

One of the most lovely things about Aldea De Las Cuevas is how friendly everyone is and how well all the children get on together. Villa and the surroundings of the rest of the Mountain is very calming and relaxing.

There is more than enough living space so people do not get on top of one another. The pool being on a lower level is also useful as it creates a separate space. The garden space around the house at the top level above the pool also gives a huge area for children to play safely and in a good visibility.

Outside: Very large and sheltered private pool with stunning views to the sea. The pool has walk in steps to the shallow end and a ladder at the deep end. The villa has ample outside seating area with two covered terrace areas for dining plus a large pool side terrace. There is space for sunbathing (or avoiding the sun) on three sides of the villa with an awning on the front terrace. The hilltop position not only offers uninterrupted views, but guarantees a cooling breeze, even in August. All the terrace and patio areas are very private and not overlooked. There are six new sunbeds which are light enough to be moved around and a number of moveable umbrellas. There is a stone table for eating down by the pool and the poolside bar has its own fridge. The villa is well planted with shrubs including huge bougainvilleas. Utility Room: Set in the garage with washing machine and tumble drier. Rotary clothes airer in the garden. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Included is all the bedlinen, bathroom towels, and beach towels. Plus If your stay is longer than a week you will be visited by the cleaner. The cleaner will just do a basic clean of floors and bathrooms plus change bed linen and towels if required. Other: Iron/ironing board; central heating; air conditioning; cot; high chair; gas-fired barbecue; private pool (for sole use of guests)

Beautiful home in a beautiful part of Spain

Home big enough for 8 comfortably (though there were only 6 of us) and stunning at that. There is nothing more we could have wished for.

Miles a very understanding owner left a welcome pack which was very much appreciated as we arrived much later than expected. There were little notes everywhere for bits of help and advice on appliances etc.

The villa is fantastic with all conveniences, stunning views and fabulous pool with bar to the side. It was very convenient to Ondara, Denia, Javea and Benidorm, not to mention only a little over an hour to the airport of Alicante.

We didn't make it to the pool bar/club house whilst open (which is a 10 minute walk away) during our stay as the day we went it was closed but it looked lovely so definitely worth a night over there.

I would definitely recommend this villa if you want quiet and relaxing and are happy to drive anywhere, which I knew to expect and didn't find it a problem at all.

Peaceful with outstanding views

This villa is a great place to stay with a family. Obviously you need a car, but the place is really quiet, even though our kids could make a noise in the pool without annoying anyone. The view of the sea is stunning with no villas in front to block the view and no villas overlook the property so you have seclusion too. With space all round the villa we found we could always find somewhere to either sunbathe or sit and drink in the sun - either watching the kids or keeping well out of their way! It was also good that the older ones could sit around the pool in the evening - far enough away from the older generation.

We stayed at this villa, our fifth time to this location. Villa was spotlessly clean. Nice to have miles on hand, everything we asked for he provided with no trouble. Such as when my grandson came over a cot and high chair was provided. Looking forward to going back in 2015!

This area is ideal for cycling both road and mountain biking, with plenty of varied hill climbs. One of the neighbours offers professional cycling and training holidays. Contact us for further information on cycling and bike rental. The area is also spectacular for walking. A free all weather tennis court is available for all guests.


The villa is unbelievably quiet. You can see the coast from the villa but you will need to take the car to get there. Oliva beach with its famous Oli-Ba-Ba beach bar is only 15 minutes easy drive away, as are the 14km of beautiful sandy beaches in Denia. The beaches at Les Marines, Les Bovetes, Les Deveses and Els Palmars are ideal for family days out. The waters are clean and patrolled by lifeguards during high season and have the European Blue Flag for water quality.


The village of Benidoleig is only 8 minutes drive away (8 km) is the Ondara motorway junction (AP-7). From here its and easy 1 hours drive to Alicante airport and 1 hour 10 minutes to Valencia airport, rental cars are available at both airports. We also offer an airport pick up service for € 90. If you are a party of 5 + people you may find it cheaper to just rent one car. Driving to the area from the UK, the northern Spanish port of Santander is only 6 ½ hours drive away.


The private club house bar and snack bar with tennis court is 500m. Benidoleig village with supermarket (fresh croissants), paper shop, bank, chemist and bars 2km. Ondara AP-7/E-15 motorway junction and shopping mall 8km; Denia port area15km; Jávea beach 22km; Calpe 33km; Benidorm 42km; Alicante city 90km; Valencia city 104km.

Further Details:

All guests are free to use the club pool which is a 5 minute walk away (or 2 minutes by car). There is a huge pool which some kids like because there will be other children to play with. There is an all-weather Astro tennis court which is free and rackets are provided. The English couple who run the club provide lunch and drinks and you can also order eat-in meals from them which they will deliver to the villa, such as a huge paella or selection of curries.

Benidoleig is situated between Pedreguer and Orba. It boasts the magnificent natural Las Calaveras Cave (Cueva de las calaveras) with its stalagmites and stalactites at a length of more than 300m. Benidoleig feels the closeness of the sea but at is surrounded by an impressive mountain range the Sierra de Segaria. The plain is covered with orange and lemon groves, almonds, cherries and of course olives.

Dining is an important part of any visit to this part of Spain. We like Casa Pepa, which is between Benidoleig and Ondara, and has one Michelin star. In ‘old’ Denia we always go to El Raset and Can Broch (where you can cook your own steak the way you like it). In the new Marina, El Bravo is the most popular place and you need to book a few days ahead. In the north of Denia, Quique Dacosta- El Poblet is the top restaurant and one of the best in Spain with 2 Michelin stars. Some of the courses are spectacular, others less so. It is certainly an experience.

The villa is fifteen minutes from the stunning sandy beaches of Denia, with Jávea and Calpe not much further away. There are also many places to swim from rocks if you don’t like sand, and secluded nudist beaches too. Here you can enjoy sailing, and other water sports. We have chartered boats from Alquila Vela in the Denia Marina (next door to the Zensa Marina bar) and they are very helpful. If you are not sailors, you can still take an afternoon trip with others on a large sailing catamaran. Fun & Quads in Denia rent out jet skis and quad bikes.

Booking Notes:
A £100 deposit will reserve your booking for 2 weeks in order to give you time to book flights. In order to confirm the booking a 50% deposit will be required and the balance one month before arrival. On arrival a £250 security deposit will be required, to be refunded on departure.

Changeover Day:
Depending on availabilty we tend to be flexible on changeover days. We ask our guests to leave by 10 am and arrive after 4 pm, although we do our best to fit around everybody's needs and subject to bookings. So you dont have to book saturday to saturday

  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 60 days before check-in date.
