Very spacious and high quality 2 double bedroom/2 bathroom completely independent apartment, recently refurbished, located on the entire bottom floor of a large villa with a stunning 1800 square meter garden (ideal playing space for children). The owners live in a separate part of Villa Juana and completely respect the tenants privacy during their stay (as is confirmed by our reviews). This property is unique as you have the luxury of renting a villa type property at apartment prices! The property also includes a fully covered garage and a brand new swimming pool which is for your private use during your stay. The apartment, garden, balcony, pool and garage (for one car) are private for your use as there will be no other tenants when you are in Villa Juana.

Fantastic sea and mountain views. One of the most rural areas of the Costa del Sol. The villa is located in an exclusive urbanization with excellent/easy access from the main coast road and is literally a stone's throw from the beach. The property is fully enclosed and safe for children. Very quiet and peaceful area but still only a 5 minute drive or easy bus ride to urban centers such as benalmadena costa or fuengirola.

Is renting a car necessary?: Although a car is recommended for site seeing, it is not required. All the essentials are within a maximum of 15 minutes walk from the villa.

Train station: 15 minutes (Malaga to Fuengirola);

Bus stop: 5 minutes (Malaga to Marbella);

Beach: 5 minutes;

Supermarket (open 7 days a week): 10 minutes;

Restaurants/bars: 10 minutes;

Tennis courts: 15 minutes;

More information on the local area: The villa is situated in one of the most beautiful, quiet and less urbanized areas of the Costa del Sol. The main street outside the house is a windy and scenic 2km route up to the idyllic Benalmadena Pueblo (local village). If you enjoy walking/hiking, it is a very enjoyable 25-30min walk up to the village. Once in the village, you have panoramic views of the whole area and there are plenty of options for eating, drinking and you can find all the services of a normal town (ie. supermarket, banks, post office).

If you walk in the other direction (south), you will find yourself on the beach within 5 minutes. Once on the coast road, you can enjoy a walk either west or east in which you have beach after beach to choose from .

What to do?: When staying at Villa Juana, you can spend your whole time relaxing around your private terrace/balcony/pool and garden. For the more adventurous, there is plenty to see both culturally and nature wise in and around the province of Malaga.

If you rent a car, within a one hour drive you can enjoy scenic drives that lead you to beautiful Andalusian mountain village such as Mijas and Ronda. For those who thoroughly enjoy unspoiled/protected beaches, within a 45 minute drive East of Villa Juana are the wonderful beaches of Nerja.

For those who are into sporting activities, it is very easy to go hiking around the area as it is surrounding by local mountain and hiking paths. In addition, the neighbouring urbanisation (Torremuelle) has several tennis courts (only 7 Euro an hour and surrounded by lovely scenery).

Culturally, an easy/cheap train ride to Malaga centre has a lot to offer: from Moorish ruins, a Roman amphitheatre, a wonderful cathedral, the museum of Picasso.

Highly recommend this property

The property was well maintained and very clean. Likewise the pool which was fantastic. Tay and Sonia the owners were very helpful and Sonia even took us to the Supermarket when we arrived and also up into the Pueblo as we didn't have a car.

Although living in a separate part of the property you wouldn't know they were there most of the time.

The location is nice and quiet away from the main busy area in Benalmadena. Buses and taxis were available if you wanted to venture further afield which worked well for us but otherwise would recommend hiring a car.

The views from the Villa were fantastic and also the position meant that the property inside stayed relatively cool which was nice.

We had some great meal out, both in restaurants down near the beach at Play Bonita and also up in Benalmadena Pueblo.

We had a lovely time and would thoroughly recommend.

Wonderful stay at this villa

Just got home from a weeks stay ,Arrived late Saturday evening and Sonia the owner kindly drove my husband to the supermarket for supplys ,Thank you Sonia .The villa was spotlessly clean and the garden and pool were amazing .we did not hire a car and caught the buses into town but next time i would hire a car to get around .I would recommend this villa it was safe ,clean and peaceful and i only wished we had stayed longer,thanks for a lovely stay

Simply stunning location .

Beautiful spacious apartment and extremely clean and comfortable.

We had a car hired and it was so easy to travel to loads of different beaches and towns. Few minutes drive to either Fengurola or centre of Benaldemena with Marbella approx 35 mins drive.

Our hosts were lovely and made us very welcome and we had complete privacy. Would highly recommend this gorgeous place.

Mature couple with adult son stayed for 10 days.

Lovely clean villa, with very special hosts.

We had a lovely time at this Villa, and the owner's were absolutly lovey. From the time we arrived they made us feel extremley welcome. The Villa was spotless and the view from the pool was lovely. We have been to Benalmadena lots of times which helped us with getting around. It can be difficult to get around, so a car would be a good idea, although there is a bus station at the bottom of a very steep hill. Taxi's are reasonable so wasn't too much of a problem. I would like to thank you so much for your hospitallity and very much enjoyed sharing a drink around the pool, before we left. We had a lovely time, and hope to see you again soon. Fantastische Aussicht!

Eine einfach nur bezaubernde Ferienwohnung! Der Garten mit dem Schwimmbad ist wundervoll, ein kleines Paradies und sehr gepflegt. Und dann die unschlagbare Aussicht aufs Meer! Wir haben es sehr genossen, morgens an der Sonne auf der kleinen privaten Terrasse unseren Kaffee zu geniessen. Die Ferienwohnung ist gross, mit zwei Badezimmern und alles sehr sauber. Die Gastgeberin Sonia hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen und uns mit allen nötigen Infos versorgt. Auch die Schlüsselrückgabe war unkompliziert und herzlich. Strände und Restaurants sind schnell erreichbar. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt! Muchas, muchas gracias, Sonia!

Fantastic experience

Stayed in the apartment for 8 days, for a much needed break away from it all.

The Villa is lovely. It is located between Fuengirola and Benalmadena up a slight hill on the way to Benalmadena Pueblo, just off the coast road (N340), so a great location. The villa is actually a very large apartment, and has two double bedrooms, two bathrooms with lounge, diner and kitchen, with incredible views from both the patio (used for a fantastic sunrise breakfast) and from the garden and swimming pool.

The owners keep the garden in an immaculate state, it is lovely, and the pool is just the right size in which you can enjoy a great vista from whilst swimming.

I hired a car for the week, so would easily drive to the supermarkets for food (Lidl, Carrefour etc), and also into Marbella for the restaurants. There is a large shopping centre (Mirimar) in Fuengirola which is great for your standard UK clothing stores (though Fuengirola is personally not my thing).

As the tenant I had a covered parking space with remote control so could come and go when i wanted.

The owners are a lovely couple. They keep to themselves in the main house and separate garden, so leave yourself to yourself, and i hardly knew they were there. They invited me for a drink on my last night, and shared a bottle of wine in the beautiful garden overlooking the sea, just lovely.

Cannot recommend the villa enough, would make an offer is the owners would ever sell 

Ski: The beautiful Sierra Nevada ski resort is in the province of Granada which is only a 90 minute drive from Villa Juana. It is known for being unique for its great weather and the fact that on a good day you can ski in a t-shirt with a view of the Mediterranean!
