About Eric & Marlene Steinacker
My wife and I have lived in Norfolk nearly all our lives and know this part of Norfolk very well indeed and will be pleased to help all visitors to get the most out of their stay.
Eric & Marlene Steinacker purchased this Cottage in 2010
Why Eric & Marlene Steinacker chose Snettisham
This is a lovely cottage in the friendly village of Snettisham-All the North Norfolk attractions are easy to visit from this location-yet is away from the busy part of the coast.
What makes this Cottage unique
The property is comfortable and larger than similar cottages in the area and we live only about 100 yards from the cottage so know the area very well and we are at hand if any help is required.
Cancelled bookings will not receive a refund.
Beautiful cosy cottage - home from home - loved the extra touches of cakes & homemade jam!
Lovely cottage, had everything we needed, enjoyed homemade cakes & jam. Close to beaches, lots great walking, wildlife, nice pub close by!
Thank you for your 5 Star review, we are pleased you had a lovely week.
Cosy and welcoming cottage
This well equipped cottage is great for couples or small families. We recently stopped for 5 days to visit family and it was perfect. It really felt like a home from home. Parking can be tricky directly outside, but there is a street opposite which can be used. Would definitely recommend.
Thank you very much for your 5* review
Wonderful cottage where you could relax, good location to access so much
The cottage is beautifully decorated, clean and we'll equipped. The vintage bath was wonderful to soak in after long walks. The hosts left cakes and Ham on our arrival, truelly wonderful place to stay that we would highly recommend.
So pleased you had a lovely holiday and enjoyed the homemade cakes and Jam.
Home from home cottage and garden
A clean very well equipped cottage. Lots of thoughtful extras ie equipment for the kitchen, dining area and bedrooms. Very welcome home made cakes and raspberry jam. Owners are easily contacted if need be.
Location is good for local amenities ie convenience store, pub and short distance to beach. Lots of tourist attractions are within 1hr by car. Parking for one car outside property and possible more down opposite lane. Private secluded garden included. A lovely find.
Thank you for your lovely review
Very comfortable,clean,lovely decor and garden
Wonderful cottage that helped make our 2 week stay in Norfolk even more enjoyable ( first visit). The cottage was very comfortable and exceptionally clean and had everything we required (lots of hangers and drawers - very important ).
We loved the home made jam, cakes and home grown tomatoes.
Thank you Eric your advice to get the train from Kings Lynn to Cambridge was great and made for a relaxing trip.
We used the cottage as a base and visited Ely,Cambridge. Bury St Edmunds,Norwich,Hickling Broad, most of the North coast inc lunch at Holkham and Wiveton Halls. We also managed the local pubs, walks and some of the beautiful beaches.
If you like crab then, Jonas fish suppliers in Cromer do a fabulous dressed one ( don't be put off that it's on on industrial estate).
Winn Cider from the car park in Well- Next- Sea is good too. I could go on but, go and explore yourselves.
Thank you Eric and Marlene.

Beautiful cottage, great location
My husband and I looked at many cottages for us and our 22 month old daughter to stay in and are so pleased we chose this one!
The cottage is immaculate; it is clean, has lovely decor, and the layout and rooms sizes are great with plenty of room for us and our things. Its really easy to find and has on street parking right outside the door. There is a Co-Op about a 15 minute walk away which was handy and although the cottage is on a long road it was very quiet. The garden is also lovely and peaceful. Marlene and Eric were really helpful when booking the cottage, and even left us some yummy home made muffins and jam to welcome us! They provided a high chair and travel cot so we didn't have to bring ours, and even set the cot up for us and provided linens for it. It was the best travel cot we've used (better than our own!) as the mattress was much thicker than any others I've seen.
The location is great, we went somewhere different each day (we stayed for a week), usually within a 30 minute drive, and there were options for rainy days too. Would particularly recommend the boat trips to see the seals at Morston Quay, and our favourite day put was the Deer Safari which is in Snettisham itself! You can feed the deer by hand!
We had a fantastic week and have already recommended the cottage and area to friends.
Hello Natalie, thank you very much for your wonderful review and for recommending us, so pleased you had a lovely holiday
