About Ciaran Close
I work in Information Technology with a mobile telephone company. My wife is a doctor and works in a hospital in Dublin. We have three young children ranging in age from 13 to 17. We are an active family and love to do things together when we travel. We bought this property as a family investment after we had several disappointing package holidays where the apartment standards did not live up to the expectations the brochures set for us.

We fell in love with this property the first time we saw it. It is beautifully appointed and its location within this premium residence gives it stunning views from the 1st floor terrace which overlooks one of the nicest split level swimming pool complexes you will ever come across. We absolutely loved the town of Cannes as it is an all year round resort with many flights to nearby Nice airport and it has loads of very good reasonable restaurants. It is also an excellent springboard location to set off and explore many other sites in the Cote D'Azur region.
What makes this Apartment unique
The property is set back about 1km from the seafront (Carlton Hotel) and this allows us to enjoy the benefits of being close to the town centre without being on top of it. The apartment itself is really well appointed and with the swimming pools and tennis court and is very self contained if you do not want to go out to the nearby beaches and amenities. There is a guardian in the apartment building and the complex itself is very well maintained with beautifully manicured gardens. The property is located close to a small town square where there are fantastic boulangeries and several supermarkets.

15 minute walk to the beach. In our opinion the best public beaches in Cannes are the 3-4 mile stretch between Cannes and Mandelieu (to the west of Cannes). Ideally you would need a car to get to this beach and go earlier in the day to ensure parking is available. The apartment is about 8-10 minute drive from the A8 motorway where you are within easy reach of many other locations on the Cote D'Azur. You can also get to Antibes on the coast road in about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic.
