High quality, new built (2010) MGM apartment, with two bedrooms (one with en suite shower), bathroom, seperate WC and large kitchen/lounge room with lovely mountain views. Sleeps 5 comfortably. Superb location - a 30 second stroll from main square, yet set in secluded, private gardens to the Eastern side of Samoens, part of an exclusive area which benefits from avoiding all of the main village thoroughfares and hence is unusually quiet, away from almost all traffic and noise. Ski locker and secure, underground parking included. Discounted rental rate agreed with nearby equipment hire shop, with lockers available at Samoens 1600.

The Angel family. The four of us bought this wonderful apartment in Samoens because of our love of the French Alps, not only for skiing but also to enjoy mountain life all year round. As two families, with five children between us, we needed to find a resort in France that suited the widest possible variety of holiday and holiday maker. Once we visited Samoens, a truly beautiful Alpine village, we knew our search was over! We have bought this apartment primarily for our own use and as a result, it is equipped as if it is our home. We feel 'home from home' whenever we stay in the village and we hope that all our visitors feel as happy and comfortable as we do.

Samoens is a fully functioning, Medieval village, based in the Vallée du Giffre in the French Alps. Samoens is a wonderful place to visit all year round and carries the designation of a "ville fleurie" distinguishing it as one of the most beautiful towns in France. In Winter, Samoens offers a first class skiing experience, accessed via a new lift on the edge of town. The lift climbs quickly up to Samoëns 1600, and then provides easy access to Grand Massif, France’s biggest ski area, with 265km of piste offering a variety of terrain for all levels, very reliable snow cover and a pleasing lack of queues. Samoens has much to offer all year round especially in the Summer, with amazing facilities and opportunities to all things outdoors.

What makes this apartment unique

This is a newly built apartment, completed by MGM French Properties, one of France's leading developers of luxury alpine properties.

The apartment has been extremely well built, extends over more than 64sqm, and benefits from a large,

fully-decked balcony that catches the sunshine all day.

Only 30 seconds stroll from the heart of the village, this property is ideally located, very quiet/insulated and has been equipped with top of the range equipment.

Located on the second floor of this recently completed block, the apartment enjoys wonderful views of the mountains, with the stunning Aiguille de Criou the obvious highlight.

The apartment also comes with use of a ski locker and secure underground parking.

"A wonderful apartment very clean and comfortable close to the village and only a short drive to The Grand Massif Express which gives quick access to the entire Grand Massif ski area. The underground secure parking and lift access to the apartment is very useful. The apartment was very clean and warm when we arrived and the beds, towels and sheets are of a very high quality, the kitchen is well equipped. We are a family of 5 with 3 teenage kids and the apartment was perfect"

Lovely little find

Dont really want to write this as I dont want this place get booked up. Stayed the week of the 13th of Jan. Have to say everything was handled wonderfully. The communication was great and the place was spotless on arrival. Its a really home from home with everything you need. Well laid out and in a great locations.

We will be booking for next year without a doubt

Fantastic chalet for Samoens

The property was perfect for us as a family of four. Located in the centre of Samoens, it was well-equipped, comfortable and maintained to a high standard. When we arrived the property was spotlessly clean and the whole process of arriving and departing was well managed and straightforward. The chalet also comes with the use of an underground parking space.

Overall, it was great value for money and we would definitely stay again if we returned Samoens. The owners are very easy to deal with, helpful and responsive to questions. I would thoroughly recommend a visit!

Great apartment

Really comfortable apartment close to the centre of Samoens village.

Apartment very well equipped and maintained.

Excellent location for enjoying Samoens and surrounding attractions.

We had a great week skiing and would recommend this apartment. We will be returning again ourselves.

Excellent apartment in a great location.

Great holiday. Walking distance to all shops and restaurants. Walked also to the cable car. Very short drive to the next village where there is even more to do!

Spacious, warm, well equipped, comfortable apt.

We had such a wonderful stay in this centrally located, but very quiet apartment. The place was very spacious, decorated really well and very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed, even bags to carry shopping! Light and bright, a large balcony and toasty warm, which was very welcome after a hard day skiing! Oh and the hot water never ran out - even with four long showers a day! Would definetely recommend!

Samoens is approx 50 mins drive from Geneva airport or 8hrs drive from Calais. . The drive from Calais is all motorway except for the last 12 miles so making it easily accessible. There are many good hotels / logis along the way. Hiring a car from Geneva airport is a good way to travel to Samoens. Alterntively there is a bus or train service from Geneva airport to nearby Taninges.


The next closest village to Samoens is Morillon which is a 5 min drive (free ski bus in the winter) or 30 minutes of pleasurable walking. The historic towns of Annecy and Geneva with their beautiful lakes and Lyon with its ancient quarter are all one hours drive away. Chamonix with the famous Mt Blanc, various pretty villages in northern Italy, and the beautiful town of Evain les Bains, are also one hour away.

There is an abundance of local restaurants, two large supermarkets, and several banks in Samoens. The whole region has a host of varied leisure activities. Samoens is listed as an historic site. It is a pretty village and is a popular winter and summer holiday destination. Activities include: Winter - Alpine and Nordic skiing, snowboarding, paragliding, speed riding, skidooing, snowshoe trekking, massage! Summer - Swimming (there is an outdoor municipal pool with flumes, and also lakes), climbing, golf, mountain biking, fishing, canoeing, whitewater rafting, hydro speed, via ferrata, parapente, ballooning, tennis, horse riding, archery, playgrounds, adventure park, walking and cycling. Described as a "real french village filled with characterful bars and restaurants, Savoyard charm and stunning backdrops" by the Daily Telegraph.

Booking Notes:
A 25% non refundable deposit will be required to confirm a booking, with the remaining balance due 60 days in advance. A refundable £200 damage deposit will also be required when the balance is paid (this will be refunded after a check of the apartment within 14 days of the end of your stay). For larger parties - if you are interested in booking additional apartments either in the same apartment building or a neighbouring building, please let us know.

Changeover Day:
Saturday preferred but please enquire for shorter periods and/or different changeover days - we will be flexible wherever possible. Check in after 4pm. Check out by 10am.

Notes on prices:
Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds and include bedding, towels and a clean at the end as long as you leave the apartment in a decent condition and have made an effort to tidy up, as per our instructions (received on payment of final 75%).
