You will find yourself surrounded by 20 acres of forest, flowers, orchard, mountain stream, and beautiful private beach with stunning views of Purcell Mountains and pristine Kootenay Lake. We pride ourselves on providing an oasis of quiet, with no children or pets permitted in order to retain the peacefulness and complete privacy our guests tell us they value.

This upscale cottage is privately located within award-winning Wing Creek Resort and it features a woodburning stone fireplace for romantic evenings in front of the crackling fire. This cabin/cottage offers one bedroom with one luxury queen bed, plush duvets and high-threadcount sheets to envelope you in softness and comfort each night. This cabin/cottage has a sumptuous four-piece en-suite bathroom. Plush cotton towels, premium hand soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner are provided for your comfort and convenience.

The kitchen offers granite counters and stainless appliances including two-burner gas stove, under-counter fridge, as well as small appliances and all the dishes, cutlery, glassware and cookware you'll need to create your own culinary delights.

You can enjoy a romantic candlelit dinner or curl up in front of the fireplace and dream a little... (yes, we supply the candles and firewood -- all you have to bring are the dreams!)

A delightful place to stay

We had the most lovely and relaxing time at Wing Creek. The cottage was cozy and well appointed. The views are stunning. And the property is beautiful. We can't wait to get back.

Little Oasis

We had a beautiful stay. The property is absolutely beautiful, cabins are cozy and we had the most amazing time down by the water with our personal fire for the night. The owners are incredible people that have a real passion for what they do. I would very much recommend this stay!

Excellent private cottage, clean, modern, comfortable. Very attentive hosts. Very pleasant.

The resort has 5 small cottages that are well built, clean and very comfortable for two. They sit in a wooded area that has a fabulous view of the lake and/or the mountains. Ours was #5 and it may have had the best view. The kitchen is large enough to prepare a meal. The shared barbecue was clean and easy to use. The bed and bathroom, while not large, we’re fine for a few days and exceptionally clean. The hike down to the beach is more than a stroll but worth it. You’ll find chairs and an amazing view waiting when you arrive, and even fire pits ready to light in season. We discovered a dusting of snow on the peaks in the distance on our excursion. Overall, this was an excellent stop on our journey. The town of Kaslo was fun too, as the people we met were warm and welcoming.

Beautiful cottage in stunning location.

Kevin and Debra made us feel very welcome at their beautiful resort. The cottage was perfect, with great attention to the smallest detail to make our stay very special and comfortable. We enjoyed visiting the charming town of Kaslo, kayaking and swimming in warm, unspoilt Lake Kootenay. Very relaxing couple's escape.
