A beautiful, modern villa in a quiet and private development that is finished and equipped to the very highest of standards.

The villa features marble flooring throughout and high vaulted ceilings - both work to keep the villa at a comfortable temperature in the Canarian climate.

Inside, the villa has 2 bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom is equipped with a king size double bed complete with memory foam mattress. An ensuite bathroom is complete with bath / shower, basin and toilet. The master bedroom has french doors leading out onto the private terrace. The doors have louvered external shutters complete with fly screens. This allows the external shutters to be closed and the internal french doors to remain open. This is especially useful to allow the cool evening breezes into the bedroom for comfortable sleeping temperatures. The master bedroom is complemented with double fitted wardrobes, twin bed side cabinets and a chest of drawers.

The 2nd bedroom features twin beds with memory foam mattresses. The windows have external louvered shutters fitted with fly screens to allow the internal windows to remain open and provide safe cool temperatures. The 2nd bedroom is complemented with double fitted wardrobes and has access to the seperate bathroom. The bathroom is fitted with shower, toilet and basin.

Outside, the substantial gardens contain a large sun bathing terrace which is surrounded by walling to provide privacy. The private pool is heated all year round and professionally cleaned twice per week. From the garden, there are stunning views across to Fuerteventura and also of Montana Roja.

There are 4 sun loungers, a rattan sofa, rattan arm chair and rattan coffee table to provide a multitude of relaxing seating options.

There is also an enclosed breakfast/dining area for combined alfresco/covered dining. This allows an escape from the sun and for evening dining. Alongside this area is a brick built BBQ.

The fully fitted kitchen has cooker/hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, Nespresso coffee maker and microwave.

The separate utility room houses a washing machine, iron / board and clothes dryer. This provides the ability to launder clothes whilst staying.

The lounge has two comfortable dark brown leather sofas with wood coffee table and side units. Entertainment comes in the form of a 50" flat screen TV, which has access to a full UK & SKY TV package. There is also a combined CD/DVD player with a selection of DVDs in the villa.

Throughout the villa and onto the terrace, high speed Wi-Fi coverage is available and included in the rental cost.

French doors from the lounge lead out to the extended terrace, complete with table, chairs, sun loungers and matching parasol around the pool.

About Glyn

We have been owners in Faro Park, Playa Blanca since 2014. Having initially visited the area on holiday and renting a holiday villa ourselves, we immediately fell in love with the area. Soon after that holiday we decided to purchase!

We now live in Playa Blanca so are able to provide information not only on our villa but also on Faro Park, Playa Blanca and Lanzarote itself.

Why Glyn chose Yaiza

The community that Casa Maria is part of is extremely peaceful. This was very important for us, having stressful jobs in the UK. When getting away we were looking for relaxation through peace and quiet.

We loved the location, size of the plot, the privacy and obviously the heated swimming pool.

The villa is located close enough to the restaurants and bars at Faro Park but also far enough away to not be bothered by noise.

What makes this villa unique

As well as all of the villa's features, you also have access to a 20m community pool which is hardly ever used - due to most villa's having their own private ones!

Notes on accommodation: Suitable for couples & families alike. Details of the island's attractions are available in the villa manual to help you during your stay. The alfresco dining area provides secluded outdoor dining. The terrace around the pool has been extended and is walled to provide privacy and seclusion to bathers and guests. The villa is surrounded by a traditional Canarian garden and there is a private parking space. There is also a large communal swimming pool which is ideal both for the more serious swimmer and also for children to enjoy. Outside: Pool is heated and 8x4m in size, with thermal cover to retain heat. There is also a communal pool approx. 25m from the villa. The terrace comes complete with a table and chairs and parasol. Sun loungers are located around the pool, for you to sunbathe with a cool drink at your side. There is a charcoal BBQ. Utility Room: This utility area houses a washing machine. There is a clothes dryer, iron and ironing board, wash basket, pegs etc. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All linen and towels are provided. The towels will be changed once during your stay where you will have the chance to discuss the area/villa with the villa management. Beach towels are also provided. Other: The villa is set in a quiet and tranquil area which is ideal for families and couples alike who enjoy the luxury of bathing in privacy. Wi-Fi included

Beautiful home from home in the sun!

We stayed at Casa Maria in August and loved our stay! Large living area, tv, wifi, comfortable leather couches and throws. Kitchen well equipped with everything you needed. Coffee pods available for the coffee machine and water, milk, juice and a lovely bottle of cava were a welcome treat! Showers worked great, beds were really comfortable. Pool was lovely and warm! A lovely villa on a gated complex, would definitely stay again. Glyn the owner was helpful throughout if we needed to contact him with any queries. We hired a car, ten minute drive into playa Blanca. We've been coming to lanzarote for 18 years but have never stayed on this side of the island and I would definitely return. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Fantastic 10 days, fantastic villa and location

The villa is lovely the pool is fantastic and the location is perfect, shops and bars are close enough to walk to but not close enough to hear any noise. The main resort is less than a ten minute drive away and is very nice with some good restaurants. Glyn kept in touch regularly to see if we needed anything but we had everything we needed and more. We are already looking at going again next year, possibly twice. We would definitely recommend 👍

Lovely, peaceful villa

The villa was lovely, well equipped and had an extremely handy welcome pack.

It was really useful to have cleaning products and the odd bits left from other customers. As some villas don’t provide such things. Thought it was really thoughtful to leave a bottle of bubbly for us, get the feeling that the owners really care about the people that stay there.

The villa is easy to find and is in a very quiet complex. We enjoyed the comfortable furniture outside and the pool which was cleaned during our weeks stay. And the sun is on the garden all day which we loved.

Cannot fault this villa. It is a 5 min drive into Playa Blanca where there is several supermarkets and so many restaurants to choose from (and cheap beer!)

Glyn, the owner was fantastic and kept in contact and was very helpful.

Very much recommend this as a place to stay and would hopefully one day return.

Lovely villa in a quiet location.

We stayed at this lovely villa for a week, and was highly impressed with the villa and very quiet gated area. The villa was well equipped for all your holiday needs, including 2 bathrooms and English channels on the television. The pool was heated, and it was great to cool down in when we got too hot. The owner Glyn was very helpful with providing the directions etc, and when we arrived there was a welcome pack which was greatly appreciated. We would definitely stay at this villa again.

Car: recommended


There is a 10 minute walk to the coast and there is a coastal path/promenade which goes all the way to Playa Blanca and beyond. This is lit at night. The main beaches are Playa Flamingo, Playa Dorada, Playa Blanca and the many famous protected beaches and coves of Papagayo which forms part of a national park. There are also small, local beaches 5-10 minute walk away. Details are included in our brochure at the villa. A reliable and cheap bus service operates into town and the marina area.


Arrecife Airport is 30 minutes by car. Car hire would be convenient especially to tour the island but is not essential. Buses go from Lanzarote airport to Playa Blanca and then there is a local Playa Blanca bus. A taxi from Playa Blanca town to our villa would cost 4-5 euros. Taxi from the airport is usually about 40 euros. Sometimes car hire can be the cheapest option. A reliable and inexpensive car hire company can be recommended.


The local shops and bars are a short walk away. Faro Park shops are a 5 minute walk away and there are a number of restaurants with stunning views of the beach and the Island of Fuerteventura within a 5-10 minute walk of the villa (directions are available at the villa). Playa Blanca village/harbour/marina with its excellent range of bars and fish/Spanish restaurants is a short drive by car or 3 bus stops. Taxis usually cost about 4 euros.

Further Details:

The family friendly resort of Playa Blanca is a mere 5 minute drive away and has an abundance of excellent restaurants and shops with very few noisy night clubs. Information/recommendations on shops, bars restaurants etc are included in our brochure at the villa. Please ask if you would like these emailed to you.

Changeover Day:
Flexible changeover days. Normal arrival time is 2.00pm and departure time is 10 am. We will try to accommodate different times but this cannot be guaranteed.
