Walk into Denia town for fabulous shops.

Fabulous time in Denia, great for our kids and very walkable - Irene and boys.

We had a very romantic holiday with lots of lovely food and wine- David and Steph.

Notes on accommodation: Elegance is a gated complex with limited wi fi facility , children's play area (slides and play balls), conference room. This is a no smoking apartment.. The whole apartment has marble floors throughout. A travel cot and high chair is available free of charge (suitable for babies up to 15 kilos). Dogs are allowed free of charge. Outside: The shared dolphin shaped pool and child’s paddling pool are both visible from the huge terrace. Poolside showers. The internet is also free. One of only a few of the largest south facing terraces for alfresco dining and outside seating for six plus and with a lovely sunny aspect its perfect for watching the kids directly overlooking the pool while sipping the local Rioja. Utility Room: Washing machine/dryer.Iron and ironing board. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are provided. Extra linen and cleaning can be arranged for a small charge. Beach towels are not provided. New Electric shutters.

Fantastic apartment in an amazing location

Wow! Everything was as pictured and exactly as described, we were met at apartment as stated and everything was explained to us. Apartment was clean, spacious, cool and had everything you could possibly need. In a perfect location, 5 mins walk to a fab Aldi for fresh baguettes, croissants, doughnuts and everything you need plus only 0.68 euros for a litre of surprisingly very drinkable white wine! Old Town Denia and castle are beautiful, tourist train trip round castle was perfect in the heat but get there early to get on as gets packed. So many gorgeous restaurants nearby, our favourites were a Mexican called Pointer in Old Town square and Kathmundu Valley, an Indian just past Aldi along with lots of other gorgeous tapas and traditional meals near the marina and on the Main Street. Beach was lovely with pedalos and an inflatable obstacle course which kids loved, pool was even nicer, clean, well managed and although busy as school holidays never felt cramped. Absolutely loved the apartment and Denia itself as a location. We also drove to Javea, again old town is gorgeous and into Benidorm for water park and theme park for kids, about 40mins very easy drive, both very good and kids loved but all of us couldn't wait to get back to our pool at the end of each day. Would highly recommend this apartment to anyone!

Great Accommodation and Great Location.

We chose this apartment because we were after somewhere with a large balcony and close to the beach, the Marina and the town. This looked to fit the bill and we weren't disappointed! We stayed here in March and so didn't expect to spend much time soaking up the sun - but the weather was kind to us and we spent lots of time sunbathing on the balcony which was massive and had the sun virtually all day.

The location is also a big selling point as you can easily walk to the local Aldi, the beach, the town and the Marina. There are also loads of good places to eat nearby.

We hired a car but didn't need it other than for travelling out of town a couple of times.

I would definitely recommend and will hopefully visit again in future.

Winter in Denia

Having searched the internet for a place to stay in Denia we found the apartment. It sounded just what we were looking for. On arrival and greeted by Andrea we were not dissapointed we found it clean and tidy. We had a very warm sunny south facing terrace, only 5 and 10 minutes walk to the local supermarkets, 5 minutes walk to the lovely sandy beach and 15 minutes walk to the centre of the town. The apartment was very conveniently situated. The description we were given was accurate. We knew the internet reception would be poor and we found this to be the case on occasions but there was an internet room on the complex and this worked very well. The apartment ticked all the boxes for us especially for the length and time of year we were there. We would definately recommend it and go back again.

Fabulous! Great apartment, great location

Six of us stayed in this apartment over Christmas and the New Year. It was our first time in Denia and what a beautiful place. The apartment was beautiful and really suited our needs. It is furnished to a high standard and is well equipped. The apartment is ideally situated for walking into the town, to the beach and to Aldi!. The apartment has a massive terrace which catches the sun most of the day. We were lucky enough to have sunshine every day, a fabulous week. Our son and his wife arrived much earlier than us and were met by Andrea who proved to be very helpful with any queries we had during the week. We all had a fabulous week and would thoroughly recommend this apartment for comfort, value for money and location.

Comfortable accommodation with a lovely balcony

We had a lovely stay at this apartment.

Communications were good with Madge and her agents in Spain. Everything was clean and tidy as expected, The complex is lovely (although the pool a little cold in October).

Location is great, Aldi supermarket is close by and the beach is 5min walk, the centre of town is a 15min walk.

Minor criticisms are that the complex wifi only works out on the balcony, the TV is dated and has no British tv stations at all and there is not enough glasses for 4 or 5 people which is easily remedied.

The balcony is the real star of the show, unfortunately our weather was not sunny but you could spend all day lazing with a book and a glass of wine on the large open balcony.

Owner's Response: I thank you for your review. However. I am confused as to why you should mention the glasses in that review. When Andrea meets you, she parts with the words, if you need anything please don't hesitate to call me. It was an oversight on the cleaning staff sadly. Regarding the TV, I apologise for it. we don't watch TV but fill the TV cabinet with DVDs for children as I understand you need to occupy them if it's raining. Lastly the WI FI, we do mention this on our website, we are surrounded by mountains so it is a little tempremetal which is out of our control. Sorry if any of this caused you any inconvenience we do our upmost to make your experience wonderful and take any negative comments seriously Many thanks Madge

Super Family Holiday

My two children , my niece and I spent a wonderful week in this beautiful apartment. The apartment was spacious, clean and obviously ,very well maintained. We arrived late at night and were met by Andrea , who could not have been more helpful . She told us everything we needed to know about the apartment, but also took time to tell us about the facilities in the surrounding area. Denia is a lovely town and we had a wonderful sandy beach within a few minutes walk from the apartment. We spent a lot of time in the pool area within the complex , which was very clean and well maintained also. We made good use of the Aldi superstore , which had a bakery attached . This was approximately 3 minutes away , and had Burger King next door. [ kids loved this] . There were plenty of good restaraunts within walking distance of the apartment and a particularly good Indian one called the Katmandu. The owner Madge was extremely friendly and helpful from the moment I contacted her , and I would not hesitate to return to this apartment, should the opportunity arise . I have three nagging kids desparate to go back next year.

Coast/Beach:

Las Marinas beach is only 300 mtrs away with a long fine sandy beach stretching nearly 20km. Wind surfing and volley ball, Quad bikes can be rented along with jet-ski bikes. Boat trips and car ferry to Ibiza and mallorca are available from the marina. Stroll along the marina and check out the super luxury boats and cruisers. Through holiday times lifeguards and red cross patrol the les marinas and les rotes beaches.

Travel:

Fly into Alicante or Valencia both are around 1 1/4 hours by car which is recommended. There is a main line railway that runs from Denia to Alicante via the pretty coast run, stopping at Benidorm and Terra Mitica theme park(bit slow but good fun). Once you reach the apartment our apartment manager will show you in and help with any info you might need about the area.

Distances:

Denia is within easy walking distance, as is the historic castle. Javia and Moraira are only a short drive away and make great day outs along with the fantastic terra mitica fun park easily reached by car or on the local train.An hours drive gets you to the busy city of Valencia, fantastic for museums and shops.

Further Details:

Supermarkets,restaurants, banks, bars shops all available nearby. This is a family place without loud music or noisy discos and as such may not suite those seeking a club till dawn! There is a local market on Fridays and through fiesta season lots of displays, concerts and fireworks. Look out for the bull run in July!
