Cottage with great sea views in unspoilt bay, sheltered by the north winds by Lingrow Knowle. It has stunning views, 2 minute walk to beach, pub and cafe. At the front of the cottage there is a veranda with table and chairs with one of the best views in the village. Runwick Bay was a former fishing village on the north east coast. It is a pretty village with white washed cottages and a lot of charm.

About Beverley Brook
We used to visit Runswick Bay on a regular basis before we bought the cottage and would dream about the possibility of buying a small house there. Eventually we took the leap and basically have never looked back. This cottage has given us real quality time together. We will still be using the cottage in between lets.
Why Beverley Brook chose Runswick Bay
We are down in the Bay with fantastic sea views. You will want to be in the bay.

A lovely quaint seaside cottage
If you want a snug cottage by the sea then this is an ideal place. It's tucked away in the old fishing village at Runswick Bay and is ideal for a seaside break. You can either relax locally and take a stroll on the beach, or if you fancy a day trip you've got the National Park behind you and Whitby just down the coast. We did both and although it was wet and windy it didn't spoil the holiday. It was nice and snug in the evening and we lit a fire, although the flat has electric heaters to keep it nice and warm anyway. The facilities are all good, including a modernised bathroom with an electric shower. We'll certainly consider staying again.
Lovely cottage, great location.
Great sea side village, lovely and quiet getaway.
A lovely homely place to stay with everything you need to make a wonderful peaceful break.
The views from the cottage are stunning, a wide sweep of a beach with high cliffs and an ever changing sea. Homely, warm and very well equipped with many walks on your doorstep. We could have not wanted more.
Charming, comfortable with a great view of the bay
Beautifully presented and homely. Clean and everything easy to use with clear instructions for everything in the visitors folder. Would not hesitate to return in the future.
Who needs the Mediterranean?
Great cottage and great view.
Quaint and peaceful
My husband and I had a very pleasant and restful stay at Runswick Bay. The cottage was delightful and well equipped.
Two minutes walk to the beach. The beach is a sandy bay and very safe for swimming.
