Spacious & Modern 3-Bedroom - 2 Blocks To Ski Shuttle & 4 Blocks To Main St

This recently updated spacious 3 bedroom home feels modern and yet extremely cozy. It has been designed around the vacation lifestyle: lounging around the gas stove in the living room or feeding a large family in the fully equipped kitchen/dining area.

Upstairs, there are 3 bedrooms: a bunk room (sleeps 4), a smaller but super comfortable bedroom with a queen bed, and a large master bedroom with a private bath, large porch and big closets (big enough to hold a portable crib). There is also a large guest bath upstairs. There is a TV (cable, Apple TV) located in the basement media room which also has a comfortable pull-out couch.

There are 2 parking spots available directly in front of the house - additional parking may be available by special request.

This home is the front unit of Victorian style townhouse. There are front porches on both levels with spectacular views of the ski area.

The owners have 6 grandchildren, so this house is FAMILY FRIENDLY!

The owners, who have lived in Breckenridge since 1980, live in the separate house in the back. They typically spend January-March overseas, but when in town will be available to help make your stay as pleasant as possible. When they are out-of-town, another long-time Breck resident, Julie Krause, will be managing the property and available to answer questions.

Other Things to Note

-3 night minimum

-maximum occupancy may increase by special request/approval (eg. families with young children)

-The dining area currently seats 7, but can seat 10 with use of 2nd bench from entrance area.

-TV (cable, Apple TV) located in the basement media room.

-Bose stereo in the kitchen that can be plugged into your wireless

device - or used with your own CDs.

-Laundry located on main floor in bath off of kitchen.

-Gas stove (no wood or fuss) warms up living room within minutes.

The Neighborhood

High Street is the last street in the Historic District which provides easy walking distance to downtown while retaining its quiet, residential atmosphere. Kids play in the street - build snow forts in the winter and bike/skateboard in the street in the summer. The newly renovated library, coffee shop and movie theater is 1 block away. Carter Park is 2 blocks away: with a great playground and dog park, sledding hill (winter) and tennis courts (summer). There is a small grocery store 5 blocks away, City Market is a bit farther, but still under a mile away.

Getting Around

Skiers can walk 1 block to catch the shuttle bus (PURPLE line) to the gondola, or, at the end of the day, can simply opt to walk 5 blocks home from the bottom of 4 o'clock run. Alternatively, one can pay to park a vehicle in the ski area lots.

The Summit Stage (2 blocks away) offers bus service throughout the county and to Copper Mountain, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin ski areas.

Airport shuttles from Denver International Airport (2 hours away) are also readily available.



Please try to be as respectful of the property as you would be with your own and follow detailed instructions in the guidebook.

-Please remove your shoes (and especially ski boots!) at the door.

-Please keep all skis/snowboards/sleds and bikes on the porch.

-Please use coasters on the coffee tables.

-Please turn the gas stove down at night and turn off lights when not in use.

-As this home is in a residential area, please be mindful of your noise and impact on the neighbors.

-Pets only allowed by special request

-There is no daily cleaning service.

-Please do not remove anything from the property

Amazing home in Breck

I would be happy if I could rent this home every year. Perfect location and furnishings. The house was so cute, comfortable and perfect for our two families. The kids loved the basement.

This was by far the best vacation we have had with our family. The home was beautiful and was the perfect location. The owners have thought of everything to have in this home to make it a pleasure to stay in. You don't need to bring anything except you bags. Short walk to downtown where you have great restaurants , shopping and night life. We hope to be back in the future for another vacation.
