Within easy reach of the town of Carhaix with supermarkets, restaurants and weekly market. The extensive gardens gently slope down towards a river which borders the property. Visitors have close access to developed paths for walks, cycling and many adventures! After a busy day, relax on the patio, sip a glass of wine and take in the beauty and unwind from the hectic life that we all seem to lead. For the less energetic, try the comfy sunloungers and light up the bbq for a long leisurely lunch. There is plenty to occupy the children. We have a gamesroom with bar football, a darts board and many other games, this allows the grown ups some much needed peace and quiet. Early or late in the season the cosy, comfortable lounge is the perfect place to be, with a roaring log fire, sky tv or just listen to some music on the dvd player, the choice is yours, it is your holiday! Here you will find many restaurants and bars and again for the children, there is an amazing swimming pool with a flume and jacuzzi.

Why Dave & Liz Waterfall chose Treffrin
The house is perfectly located for easy access to the footpaths of the Nantes Brest canal and well manicured disused railway track passing through Carhaix from Morlaix to Rennes for cycling and walking. A number of beaches within an hour of the property with free bus service in August If you like the idea of filling your lungs with fresh air during a walk lasting an hour or a whole day, then try one of the many way-marked, accessible walking trails that lead you through the loveliest parts of Brittany. Whether you want to enjoy the peaceful, magical forests of Broceliande and Huelgoat, or the sea-salt panoramas of the headlands at Pointe du Grouin and the Pointe du Raz - just follow the region’s way-marked trails.
What makes this House unique
Close proximity to the Amorique National Park Fishing in the river, canals and local fishing lakes Breton waters are characterised by their great diversity of fish species as well as the presence of a variety of fine fish and some 1700 miles of coastline offer countless spots for fishing. Changing from hidden creeks to jagged cliffs or long, white sandy beaches, the Breton coastline suits many kind of fishermen. Anywhere you choose to cast your line, places never look the same with the tides coming in and out several times a day. Even the colours of the sky above are continously changing. If it's family fishing you want, how about a spot of rockpooling to get young imaginations going? Ideal for exploring the many faces of the canal, a touring trip will take you through the most varied of landscapes.
