Beautiful cottage, perfect for a relaxing holiday.
The cottage was perfect, cosy with all the comforts of home. The sun room is wonderful with views of the pond and surrounding countryside, it’s a great place to sit, read and relax. Anne greeted us with the log fire burning, a sparkling drink and homemade quiche. This break was a lovely start to 2018 and we will be booking another stay soon. Thank you.

Perfection in County Durham
This property proved to be the best of any we have stayed in over many years. The warm welcome was followed by style, quality and attention to detail of the property itself, topped off with perfect views from the inviting sun room. Nothing was a problem and the location proved ideal. A perfect stay, thank you.
Better then advertised
The beauty and comfort of the cottage and views from the cottage embodied all that we imagined the Yorkshires to be. Beginning with a warm welcome and great ideas on eating a much needed meal, Anne and Stephen delivered great ideas and tips as to activities and sights. Leave the TripAdvisor at home and just ask them. We loved Egglestone Hall gardens, High Force and surrounding walks. The bed was super comfortable, the kitchen we'll supplied, and the shower warm. Gracious hosts through and through.
