Spacious bright lovely apartment located at Le Lido 10km along the coast from Antibes The apartment has 2 large terraces 24m and is set in a private, quiet, secure prestigious development with a lovely large pool and gardens. There is a private entrance to the Cagnes beach. Free use of high speed internet or WiFi. The lovely apartment with climate control is on the 2nd Floor with lift access. 1 double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom both with quality beds. The bedrooms lead onto one of the terraces. The open plan living area has marble flooring leading onto a sunny south west terrace which has a teak table with 5 chairs. Fully equipped modern kitchen, washing machine, dishwasher, cooker, fridge/freezer,42inch flat screen TV with apple TV, DVD, Hi Fi. The 2 balconies are fitted with electric window blinds. Videophone entry and private secure underground car park for one car. Travel cot available on request. A comfortable residence for an enjoyable holiday.Swimming pool available during summer months .Beach towels provided from summer

Cros de Cagnes has an old port which is still used solely by fishermen which lends to great seafood restaurants in the area. Antibes, Cannes and Monaco nearby to check out the super yacht marinas. Cagnes never gets over crowded. Haut de Cagnes is the old medieval village of Cagnes which is steeped in Grimaldi history.

Very comfortable apartment and great location!

We have stayed at this property for several years so it has become a home away from home. The apartment is very comfortable, open and airy with a lovely terrace. The grounds are very well kept with good security. The location is great, a short walk to the beach, to the bus stop or train station. Shopping is also nearby.

Beautiful apartment, brilliant location, loved it.

We are a family of four, my husband and myself and our two daughters aged 10 and 15. We stayed at Karen's apartment in August of 2016 and it was just fabulous. The apartment was spotless and beautifully furnished. The beds ( and couches ) were really comfortable and the apartment was close to lovely restaurants, a boulangerie and a small supermarket. We really had everything we needed a few minutes walk away. We had access to a shared pool which was also spotless with plenty of sunbeds available. There are bus stops and a train stop nearby to take you up and down the Riviera . I would highly recommend this apartment and would definitely stay there again if travelling to the south of France.

Great Apartment and Location

The apartment is clean, bright, modern, well equipped and spacious (apart from the second bedroom being on the small side, although we personally did not use it). It has a modern smart TV & so can stream videos which was good because the apartment doesn't have the advertised DVD player.

The complex itself is very nice, well cared for & spotless. The number of pools available mean they are not overcrowded but could do with some shade. It is close to plenty of reasonably priced restaurants and several lovely boulangeries.

We arrived by train. The station is less than a 10 minute walk away and from there you can easily and cheaply get to Antibes, Juan-Les-Pain, Nice and Monaco. Also, the local free shuttle bus terminus is directly outside the complex and takes you along the beach and into the centre of Cagnes. Another shuttle takes you from the centre to the Castle if you wish.

For an apartment in this price bracket we agree with previous comments that pool towels should be provided and also a change of linen after the first week. We'd also suggest a bathmat for the tiled bathroom. A visitor book for tips and recommendations would be handy too.

Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in what is a beautiful part of the world.

Overall comfortable and convenient although overpriced

The property is in a gated complex. When arriving by taxi with a lot of luggage, a daughter not long out of surgery and a baby it was a bit of a trek to get us all up to the second floor apartment. For the price we paid it would have been nice to find a welcome pack with refreshments. The plane was late due to the air traffic controllers being on strike and we were all tired and thirsty by the time we got there.

The apartment was pleasant although the second bedroom was very cramped with two single beds taking up the whole little room. It cannot be called a second bedroom. There was no wardrobe space. My daughter and husband slept on the sofa bed in the lounge for the whole week.

The apartment was quite well equipped and clean on the whole, although the bed linen smelt musty and we had to wash it on the second day. The rear balcony was dirty and we had to sweep it out. It was not a pleasant place to sit as a bike took up a lot of space. It was the only place that got the sun during the day and was not luxurious to say the least.

On the whole I thought the apartment was very overpriced and I would not go back. It was conveniently situated to the sea front and public transport to Nice, Cannes and Monaco and Had there not been rail strikes all week it would have been easy to get around. As it was the buses were heaving and it was easier to stay put.

I am familiar with holidays in France and speak the language well and although I want to be fair, I did feel very much as though we were staying in someone else's home and paying over the odds for being in the South of France.

Comfortable stay in a property that we have stayed in before.

This property and the surrounding area is well known to us. This was our third stay in Le Lido in Cagnes-sur-Mer and second stay in this property. It is well situated for our particular needs, allowing easy travel to the places that we like to go. Access to the fishing harbour, promenade and local restaurants are safe and easy. A car is not necessary because all is within walking distance of the apartment and public transport sytems are excellent. Our stay would have been inproved if the air conditioning had been "switched on" a week earlier. No pool towels are provided which would be useful if they were because of luggage weight restrictions on the flight. We like this location and the apartment very much.

Perfect Location

Had a wonderful stay in this clean, comftorble and well equipped apartment with a very helpful owner. Superb location 5 minutes walk away from lovely restaurants by the beach and the pleasant centre of Cros de Cagnes.

Also, only 10 minutes from the airport and perfect for exploring Nice,Antibes,St. Tropez and the Riviera.

Looking forward to visiting again.

Cagnes sur Mer on the spectacular Cote d'Azur has a fabulous location for the French Riviera. This picturesque seaside town is located between Antibes (10km) and Nice (12km).
