Beach Bungalow on Aberdesach Beach Nr Caernarfon, North Wales
Caroline & Tony Regan
About Caroline & Tony Regan
We live in Birmingham, England and I was in International Affairs at Birmingham University where I was employed for twenty years. We have two grown-up sons and three grandchildren and we all visit several times per year. The bungalow has been owned by our family for over 70 years. During that time it has been extensively modernised whilst retaining some of its original features and character. We never tire of visiting!
Caroline & Tony Regan purchased this Bungalow in 1981
What makes this Bungalow unique
Our property in North Wales been inspected and approved for quality and safety by the Welsh Tourist Board. It has wonderful views over the beach towards the mountains and at the back there are fields with distant views of Snowdon. Because of the pollution free environment, on a clear night the stars are truly spectacular!

Great view of the mountains whilst staying by the beach

Wonderful cottage with the sea on the doorstep. Lovely owners. Definitely one of our favourites, will be re-booking for sure.
So pleased you enjoyed your holiday - thanks for writing a review! You will be welcome back anytime!
Kind regards, Caroline and Tony
A clean, comfortable, well equipped and furnished cottage - in an outstanding location where you are just a few metres from the sea at High Water
Thank you for writing a review. We were very pleased that you had a good holiday and happy to see that you have already booked for the same week next year! We look forward to welcoming you back.
Kind regards, Caroline & Tony
Fabulous location, comfortable and homely bungalow. Highly recommend.
We all enjoyed staying at this property. The location is just wonderful.
Beautiful bungalow next to the sea
The bungalow had everything that was needed for a comfortable stay. Sit in the front garden and watch the waves roll in. There are plenty of places to visit nearby. We will be going back. Need to book well in advance as this property is very popular.
Thank you very much for taking the time to write a lovely review. We are so pleased that enjoyed your holiday. You highlighted one of our favourite pastimes - watching the sea. If you’re lucky you spot seals and porpoises swimming across the bay! We look forward to hearing from you again. Kind regards, Caroline and Tony
Aberdesach is certainly the most beautiful location in Wales that I have stayed in. The view from the bungalow is amazing, with the sea and beach directly in front of the bungalow, mountains to the side and lovely fields at the back. The sunset is extremely beautiful and I saw dolphins near to the shore one morning when I was admiring the view. There are plenty of places to visit locally.Just up the main road is an air museum (next to Caernarfon Airport) which is worth a visit and there is a large beach (plus good chippy!) nearby in Dinas Dinlle. Parc Glynliffon is also close by and is excellent for dog owners like us.
The bungalow itself is extremely clean and tidy and very spacious. It was nice to have a full size fridge/freezer unlike so many self catering establishments I have stayed in. The facilities were excellent and the bungalow was very well insulated, so we didn't need to use the extra heaters that were available which was surprising given the cold temperature outside in the evenings.
The owners Caroline and Tony are really helpful and friendly and were very keen to ensure we were comfortable. They have obviously gone to a lot of trouble to make sure the bungalow is of a good standard.
As a family we all enjoyed our stay very much. My 11 year old son can easily become bored but this location kept him entertained. We also took our dog which can sometimes prove challenging, but with the beach outside walks were easy and enjoyable. It was lovely to sit outside and be able to watch my son playing with the dog on the beach knowing they were safe.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property. We will certainly be visiting again!
Thank you Judith for taking the time to review our bungalow and its location. You have certainly given prospective guests a taste of what to expect at Aberdesach. We appreciate your kind words and it always pleases us to hear that our guests have enjoyed their holiday. Thank you for such a glowing review and we do hope that we may look forward to welcoming you and your family again in the future. Kind regards, Caroline and Tony
The property is right on the beach and is ideal for families as no cars are allowed on the beach which means children can play safely, however, young children should be supervised at all times. With the sea right on the doorstep, swimming and fishing can be enjoyed and young children will love searching for crabs in the rock pools. Seals and porpoises are regularly seen swimming across the bay and there is an abundance of interesting bird life and flora.
