About Costanza

Ciao a tutti!

I'm Costanza and I'm born in Florence and live here with my partner Knut who is Norwegian and our wonderful littel viking Leonard.

I love cooking, agriculture, nature and meeting new people from all over the world:).

I have always breathed a wonderful atmosphere in the big kitchen, around the marble table where my grandmothers and grandfathers were used to cook together delicious meals.

I have a degree in Agricultural sciences and tecnologies from teh University of Florence.

Me and my sister Serena give cooking classes teaching Florentine cuisine. Serena prepare wonderful vegetarian and vegan meal for our guests and she is a Naturopath. Knut is a food and wine lover and he exports hand made italian food to Norway.

My father all around the Villa has a wonderful little farm that provide fresh vegetables, fruit, herbs and eggs to our guests: he is passionate with agriculture, history and arts.

My mother coordinates all of us...she is our "shining sun".

We'ld love to meet you!

We' ll be happy to serve you breakfast and dinners made by the best natural ingredients from our garden and local organic farmers.

We have a Reception that provide assistance to our guests to help them with their daily program: we are here for you!

We are a nice place also for family reunions and children are very welcome to enjoy the pool the garden, giving food to the ducks and chickens, playing with our dog, taking cooking classes and participating to our pizza parties: a marathon of Taste around a XVI century wood burning oven.

Beautiful, relaxing stay!

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay in Sesto! Serena picked us up at the train station and took us right to our beautiful apartment. The history of the villa is incredible. We had plenty of room for our family of four. We loved wandering the grounds and the town of Sesto. Don’t miss the opportunity for dinner in the villa during your stay! It was delicious and accommodating to our dietary allergies. They also arranged for a private tour guide to take our family to the countryside - Francesca was amazing and a great value! Our other two days were spent traveling into Florence, a pleasant walk to the train in Sesto and then only a 15 minute ride into Florence. Easy! We highly recommend a stay at the villa and hope to be back in the future!

Beautiful Tuscan Villa nestled in Sesto

  • 5 of 5

It's hard to believe it has been almost 9 months since our visit. We had never used VRBO, AirBNB or other services of this type. What we experienced exceeded my expectations. Our room was a 1500 square foot (150 SM) villa with two bedrooms, a living and dining room, two full bathrooms, and a Tuscan kitchen. I was in awe that part of the walls were from the 1300s and our villa dated bact to the 1500s. It was beautifully decorated and we thoroughly enjoyed having wine and cheese in the patio during sunset as we watched fire flies and gave Juni (the cat) little pieces of prosciutto. We took the cooking class with Costanza and here sister. All the recommendations they gave us were excellent and I truely appeciated their warmth and hospitality. They made our first visit to Italy so memorable. I've told dozens of our friends about the experience and would love to visit again. Thank you so much for everything.

Highly recommend!

  • 5 of 5

We were in Italy for almost a month...our favorite part was staying at this wonderful 15th century farmhouse for 7 nights! We had a 5-course meal the first night there, it was amazing! We also took in a pizza was the best pizza we had in Italy! Costanza and her sister were wonderful! The farmhouse is about a 5 minute ride to the train station, and only a 10-15 minute train ride to city center Florence. The rooms were very clean, and it was nice to have our own kitchen and patio area. We will definitely return!

Wonderful holiday

  • 5 of 5

This was a one week stay with two adults and one teenager. We were in the ground floor apartment with patio. The accomodation was exactly as described and we were delighted with the layout and decoration. It was great to have the pool in the grounds of the estate. The gardens were a lovely place to relax after a day out in the city. The hosts were extremely helpful and friendly throughout the holiday. We would definitely return here when we visit Florence again.
