A large open-plan pool side apartment situated within the recently completed four star Marina Cape development in Aheloy, on the Black Sea. The apartment sleeps four people comfortably, and features a large shaded terrace with patio furniture, sea views and direct access to the poolside - only 20 metres from the Black Sea.
Whether you choose the very large 'Poolside Apartment' or the smaller (but generously proportioned) 'Seafacing Apartment' (or combine the two for larger groups) Marina Cape have thought of everything. Situated within a few metres of the Black Sea, the holiday complex is perfect for a family holiday or couples who want a little distance from the busier resorts a short drive away.
The owners take a personal interest in the comfort and presentation of the apartments, because they want you to enjoy your stay, and hopefully you will be so impressed you will return, again and again and again...
Marina Cape is like a village and if you wish to stay within the boundaries of the complex, there are 3 restaurants/cafe bars (1 of which is open throughout the year), a poolside bar, a convenience store, a beauty parlour, a nail bar, a creche, a spa, a state of the art gym and many other facilities on site, whilst the hub of Aheloy is a mere 10 min walk away. Here you can experience typical Bulgarian community lifestyle, enjoy authentic Bulgarian food and receive a warm Bulgarian welcome!
Short breaks are available by contacting the owner directly
very spacious, good location next to pool and good value for money. Recommended.
Good restaurants and bar on site and handy shop. Pool and pool bar very good.
Ravda is approx. 20-30 minute walk away again with selection of restaurants and bars.
We spent very nice holidays in Marina Cape . The kids had fun in the big swimming pool and on the beach very close . My husband and I relaxed. We enjoyed the restaurants, the spa and did some bowling games. We visited too: Nessbar, Sozopol, Pomorie, Sunny beach...
Bulgaria has really grown on me. I started coming out on business and has led to getting to know the area better. Marina Cape is fantastic, it's got everything I could wish for. The apartment is really lovely, well equipped (lots of nice extras). The staff at the complex were really helpful too - the boat trips from MC are fantastic.
Travelled in July 2012 as a group of friends.
The apartment was beautiful...spacious, wonderfully presented, and only a few steps from the main pool. There is a second pool behind the reception building which we always found to be very quiet, and there was never any problem finding sunbeds.
There were a number of restaurants on site which offered good food at extremely good value, and we found that we ate here most nights before venturing out to explore the area. There are a number of other facilities on the complex including a shop, gym and spa.
I would recommend getting a taxi from the complex to the town of nessebar, as there are lots of lovely places to eat within the old town walls overlooking the sea. We also ventured to sunny beach, where the nightlife was really good fun!
This was the perfect getaway for a group of friends...completely relaxing during the day, with lots to do during the evening a short taxi journey away. Would certainly recommend the apartment to anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing holiday at a very reasonable price!
We had a fantastic time in this poolside apartment, so much so we have been back two years running (8/10 and 8/11). The apartment itself is very clean, modern and spacious with everything you need provided for you, its excellent. The apartments location is fantastic, especially for a family as you have easy access to the pool, but yet it is still private. The whole complex provides a safe and friendly environment which is fantastic for all. The pool is amazing and there are many more facilities on the complex ie a nail parlour, tenpin bowling and much more!!!
On the complex a few minutes away from the apartment you can find a variety of different resturants with a sea view, which are all very reasonably priced. Just off site to the complex there is a local restaurant, which is friendly (child friendly) and very good value for money.
There is a small local beach which is a 10 minute walk away. We highered a skippered speed boat from Marina Cape and had a great experience out at sea.
We would highly recommend this apartment to and hope to return in the near future!!!
A quiet and delightful first floor seafront apartment situated within the four star Marina Cape development in Aheloy on the Black Sea. The apartment sleeps up to four people and features an exceptionally large balcony with patio furniture and uninterrupted views over the tiny harbour and out to sea.
The village of Aheloy is a ten minute walk, and well worth it, for here you can experience authentic Bulgarian food and lifestyle.
The historic town of Nessebar is approximately 15 mins by car and is probably one of the most colourful resorts on the coast. Steeped in history, Nessebar is an architectural and archeological reserve; a great place to explore the many churches and National Revival houses, peruse the shops and market stalls, watch the bustling harbourfront, enjoy the daily catch at one of the many restaurants, or simply sit in the square and watch the world go by.
En route to Nessebar is Aquaparadise a labyrinth of water slides, chutes and pools that will keep the kids occupied for hours. Another attraction for kids is Go-karting located on the Bourgas to Varna Road.
Sunny Beach, which is the largest Bulgarian Black Sea Resort and is backed by high dunes and large hotels, extends from Nessebar. This impressive curve of sand is thronged with sun worshipers, a fun-filled paradise for the younger generation and the young at heart – when the rest of the world sleeps Sunny Beach is just waking up! Sunny Beach also has a great market place and restaurants with seriously good food at very reasonable prices.
A little further along the coast is St Vlas, originally a Thracian settlement, St Vlas is a quieter resort with an established Marina – a mini Monaco if you like! A parade of smart restaurants line the seafront while the sandy beach (ideal for families) has a choice of activities (during high season) as well as plenty of chill out bars and cafes.Off the beaten track, about 10k further on from St Vlas, is the village of Emona, which remains completely unspoilt. Irkali beach is at the foot of the hill a stretch of golden sand with a gentle slope into the sea, ideal if you are looking for a quiet sunbathing spot.
Just 10 minutes (by car) from Marina Cape in the other direction is Pomorie, a modern town, set on a Peninsula once the most important town on the coast, after Varna. There is a small pocket of National Revival style houses on the eastern part of the Peninsula, a lovely stretch of sand with beach cafes and bars, including some newer luxury developments with night clubs and restaurants. The pedestrianised main street,Tsar Boris 1, is in the centre, and during high season there are street entertainments every day. The harbour flanks the western side of the peninsula where there is a thriving fishing community.
Places of interest are the St George The Victors Monastery a functioning monastry through which visitors are free to wander and view the well preserved icons inside.
The mud from Lake Pomorie is used to help many conditions such as arthritis, and athletes from all over the world regularly visit Pomories Medicinal Centre for treatment.
Also worth noting are 200 plus species of birds seen around Lake Pomorie, including many endangered varieties such as the Dalmatian Pelican.
18k south of Pomorie is Bourgas, the fourth largest city and the second largest port in Bulgaria. It’s well worth wandering through the Sea Gardens, studded with statues, flowerbeds and fountains, or taking a stroll along the Ulitsa Aleksandrovska, a long wide boulevard that cuts through the town, and stopping at one of its many pavement cafes. Shopping is a must and you can choose from the competitively priced designer shops, or visiting one of the newer retail parks situated on the outskirts of the city. For museums choose from: The Archaeological Museum, The Ethnographic Museum, The Natural Science Museum, or the City History Museum.
