The apartment is on two floors and is easy to get to as the nearest “Vaporetto” stop is a two minute walk away, and the stairway is wide and easily accessible. The entrance hall welcomes visitors into an elegant and well-lit sitting room, furnished to a very high standard with a large comfortable sofa and other designer objects, which blend well with the warm pastel colour of the walls and the wooden floor adorned with valuable carpets. From the sitting room you pass through an attractive aperture with a wooden beam, into the large dining room with adjacent kitchen which is both well-lit and functional. From the dining room, next to the stairs which lead to the upper floor, you have access to the night area on the first floor, where there is a spacious double bedroom and bathroom.
Going up the wooden stairs you come to the second floor of the apartment on which there is a double bedroom, a double bedroom with two single beds and bathroom.

Six of us stayed in the apartment for 5 nights during Easter and we couldn't be happier with our experience. The apartment is in a great location away from the frenzy of the tourist sights, yet in easy walking distance of anything you might want to see. We found lovely, quieter, less touristy restaurants in the immediate area with excellent food and atmosphere (we recommend both Cantina Do Spade and Ristorante Al Nono Risorto, the former more formal and the latter more lively - both with great food). There is a bakery about a block away that has delicious breads and pastries for a morning treat. The apartment itself is very well cared for and Matilde has thought of everything you might need - good kitchen supplies, washer/dryer, hair dryers, WiFi, maps. With 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on a 2 levels everyone can have their own personal space and still gather in the living room and kitchen area when desired. After full days of wandering around the crowded sights of Venice, it is nice to retreat to your own space for a while. We had a perfect deal with the Owner (he Owns several properties), quick safe reservation and perfect check-in procedure. Everything was perfect.
Thank you for a great experience!
Group of 5 adults (2 couples 1 single) we booked this property for a 4 nights stay end February. The apart is 100% as advertised and promised by the Owner (he supplied us a complete brochure). We met Matilde at the watrebus stop (San Staie), our check-in was easy and quick. She also supplied u slot of useful suggestions about restaurants and shops in the nearby. The apart is exactly as advetised: spacious, refined, comfortable. We had great nights cooking meals by ourselves (perfectly equipped kitchen) and enjoying the spacious dining room and separated large sitting room. The 3 bedrooms as well as the 2 bathrooms were extremely comfortable and well appointed. Everything was new and working. Excellent. The area is the best location for people looking for a still original venetian area anyway close to every main attraction, This is exactly what we found. Warmly suggested.
Decided to spend our family Christmas holidays all together in magical Venice. We had the chnace to find this faboulous apart. Freshly restored the apart is large, comfortable and absolutely tasty. Living room has a large comfortable sofa, we could sit all 6 and watch some TV (also large). Separation between living and dining room, where we had a perfect Christmas dinner, and not just that, is an absolute plus. As well as the 2 floors disposal: first floor with living, dining, kitchen, main double bedroom and bathroom. Second floor with 2 bedrooms (1 double and a twin) and a bathroom. Particulars: comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen, delicious Murano glass chandliers and refined marble bathrooms. Everything in the apart was as described, even better. The location is perfect too: extremely quiet, easy to reach (we arrived from the airport and got the Alilaguna waterbus service directly to San Stae, waterbus station just 2 min walking from the apart), close to everything (just 3 min walking form Rialto's Bridge). Surroundings are particularly intresting and fascinating as they still are as we always imagine Venice: quiet, no tourist's hordes, with small commerces in the nearby (bakery, grocery, pastry and fruiterer). We really loved our stay and our next time in Venice will be surely in this property. Definitely suggested.
This was my 12th time in Venice!
That’s why I have been charged by my friends to find out a special accommodation in Venice for New Year period. We were a group of 6 friends loving Venice and its charme.
My friends said me to avoid heavily touristic areas and look for something
in a practical but quiet and charming position where we could enjoy the New Year event with a real venetian flavor.
Due to its position and features this apart (named Artemìsiae if I well remember) was my first choice.
After a quick and exhaustive deal I booked it without asking to my friends. Surprise.
I was worried the apart was not as promised but nice Reviews and Owner’s professionality let me confident. In fact when we arrived my friends were absolutely surprised, I would say astonished, by the location and accommodation.
Right what they looked for (and me too), even better.
Now I am the Official apart's seeker :)
Charming location on the Grand Canal, just few minutes walking from Rialto’s Bridge and less than 10 for Saint-Mark’’s square, comfortable vaporetto stop on The Grand Canal few steps away.
The apart is tastefulness furnished with elegance but not boorish and really well equipped.
Perfectly equipped kitchen (we also prepared wonderful fish meals), large dining, separated living room with sofas and TV, functional and quiet night area.
Many good restaurants in the nearby (the Owner let us some really good suggestions).
The apart is fully correspondent to the advert.
It is located few meters from baroque architecture Ca’Pesaro museum, 2 minutes from a comfortable water bus sop on the Grand Canal and just 5 minutes walking from Rialto’s Bridge.
In the nearby there are 2 supermarkets, backery, butchery and, overall, the Rialto’s historical open-air market where we had a nice shopping for Christmas meals.
The apart is finely furnished and large, overall living area, where there is a really large and comfortable dining room with an 8 seats table where we had great times with our family and friends.
The kitchen (my wife said) is perfect, fully equipped and well working.
The night area is split in two floors: mani double bedroom and bathroom on the living floor, 2 double/twin bedrooms and bathroom on the second.
Heating was good as well as Internet access.
We had no drawbacks everything was perfect.
Finally we had a great time in this apartment due to its location and features.
We enjoyed our stay in this property.
The advert and what has been promised by the Owner was fully correspondent.
In fact we found a really spacious, tastly, finely furnished and easy access apart.
Perfect accommodation for our family (5) and also perfect getaway for a full sight-seeing.
The apart is in Santa Croce district, 2 min walking from waterbus and 5 min from Rialto’s Bridge,
Really agreable area close to everything but not disturbed by hustle and bustle of heavily touristic areas. We had grocery, bakery and a small supermarket just few steps away but we
really loved get shopping every morning at Rialto Market.
The apart is quality featured, it has a fully equipped kitchen and the right living area for our family.
Really comfortable beds, de luxe bathrooms, nice particulars as Murano glass chandliers, wooden floors, functional and fully equipped kitchen.
We also appreciated its layout with our bedroom and bathroom at the same living area floor and childs bedrooms and bathroom on an higher level.
Finally we had a really good stay in this apartment, no drowbacks.
On the second floor of a historical building in the heart of the most beautiful and elegant part of Venice. The building is, in fact, just a few steps away from the Cà Pesaro, a magnificent building in the Baroque style, one of the most beautiful in the city, and houses a permanent Modern Art exhibition, among one of the most prestigious in the world, together with many other temporary exhibitions of art and Venetian culture. The quarter, even though central and close to all the interesting places to visit in the city, is not the usual mass tourist target, it still preserves the charm and sensations of time gone by, it is considered the most elegant and exclusive quarter of Venice. Penetrating the quiet narrow streets, “calli”, around the building one discovers the “campi” (the characteristic small squares of Venice) with their old fashioned flavour and the small family-run restaurants which offer menus of exclusive special dishes of local tradition.
