Striving to make my guests enjoy as much as possible their holiday. For the fifth year of renting out the villa, I only received very nice feedbacks, but I keep trying to improve it!
Corinne purchased this Villa in 2006
Why Corinne chose Aheloy
An unknown but culturally very rich and interesting country with a beautiful landscape. The proximity of the sea, the countryside and the mountains makes the location very pleasant. The resort is close to very popular and famous places, but still remote enough to enjoy the quietness and the numerous migrating birds.
What makes this Villa unique
Staying at the property is incredibly relaxing and the setting, with the view on the countryside and on the sea is beautiful. At the same time, when people (my young adults children for example) want to have fun, they can also have it in the resort and on the nearby beaches.

Heavenly and Peaceful all we wanted.
We chose this villa as we where looking for somewhere with a private pool to suite my husband and I, while also having a communal pool for our 2 teenage daughters. I would like to say if we could transplant this villa and its location into every place we had stayed in and around Europe we would be delighted. This villa has one of the best positions on the resort looking out onto the fields, this also provides a light warm breeze ideal for comfortable sunbathing.
The villa is packed with everything you could possibly need with a nice décor. Wi-Fi connection was very good both in the villa and around the communal pool which ticked a box for our daughters and allowed us to stream in films to our laptop with no problems.
Both the villa and the resort was very clean and well kept, safe and secure. We eat in the restaurant on the resort, the food was delicious, the service was excellent and the prices where very reasonable it comes with our recommendations. There is a small shop on camp that provides a lot of the basics.
If your looking for a little treat the hotel spa is very good, compared with the UK this is very reasonably priced.
The local bus service runs every 20 minutes into Sunny Beach about 16 LEV for the four of us. If you wanna hit the night light last bus in is 22.20, you can easily find a taxi back at 5 in the morning for about 30LEV.(By the way the last Bulgarian dance club we where in was still going strong at 5am, cost nothing to get in and was very classy).
If you want to get out and about on your own time frame and want the convenience of a car I would strongly recommend getting a hire car, again these are very reasonably priced.
Communication with Corrine from beginning to end has been !st class with not a single hiccup. We can highly recommend a stay here you won't be disappointed.
Thank you so much for your very kind review. It is such a reward for all my efforts (and the good work by the Resort's team) to make the villa and the Vineyards an memorable Holiday for our guests!
I am delighted that you a good and relaxing time in Bulgaria and I hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again in the future.
Great house & location but needs updating/repair
Great house and location but partly because the houses and the resort around us where very empty and partly because of its vicinity to Nessebar, supermarkets and some of the beaches a really good. The house needs a lot of furnishings etc. repairs and the intinerary is very detailed so took ages to check. A lot of errors so make sure you do it and report everything. Corinne is quick to answer and very reasonable, we had a great holiday with our two little girls and would happily go back.
Thank you for your comments and for your exhaustive reports. I am really sorry that you had to cope with defects caused by previous guests. Unfortunately, during the high season, it is sometimes difficult to fix things on time before the next guests arrive - and even though I did not often have to complain about my guests over the last 10 years of renting out the villa, it happens once in a while that we have less careful visitors. Be informed however that, during the low season, the maitenance team and myself do a whole detailed review of all needed repairs and replacements, so that the villa is up and ready to welcome the first guests of the next season. I wish you could visit next time earlier in the season, to make sure that you don't have the same problem. Sorry again for the inconvenience.
Fantastic villa in lovely location
We had a fantastic week at Corrine's villa, everything was perfect. The pool was great, the shallower children's pool meant both our daughters (a swimmer and non-swimmer) could safely enjoy the water. So much so we struggled to get them out.
Neither of our girls are fans of the beach so being able to use the larger pools at the hotel was a real plus for us, gave a change of scene without having to go far.
The complex/resort is close to everything, yet far enough away to be nice and peaceful. I would suggest hiring a car as it makes getting out and about easier, we went to Nessbar, Radva and Golden Sands, all took less than 20 mins and some lovely places to eat and great beaches. Though the sea is a little rough for smaller children.
We were worried about the heat in August but there was a lovely warm breeze that started around lunch each day that meant the heat never got unbearable. The villa itself was clean and well equipped and a great location within the complex, being one of the few that overlooked fields rather than other villas.
All in all I would thoroughly recommend staying here and I'm sure we'll be back again.
Perfect for a relaxing self catered holiday
The Villa, grounds, pool and resort were exactly as described. Clean accommodation kitted out with everything we needed to feel at home. The pool and gardens were lovely. The pool was bigger than we expected. Perfect for 4 adults to bob around in on a hot afternoon. We didn’t go far. A couple of taxi trips to Lidl to stock up (40 Lev including taxi waiting). A couple of taxi trips to beautiful Nessabar. Didn’t need to hire a car. Enjoyed the pool bar on the resort too. We didn’t eat out as that is not our preference. Corinne (the owner) and Luiza (resort customer care) responded swiftly and helpfully to enquiries before and during our stay. A perfect experience, we’ll definitely be back.
Lovely private villa
Thoroughly enjoyable stay and will likely return at some point. I've given the property 5 stars so it's obviously great but I will list pros and con as we found them for the benefit of those looking to stay at The Vineyards.
Fantastic position within the Vineyard complex. If you were buying one of these villas (there are about 35 within the complex) I think this is one of the best seven for positioning and privacy.
It's incredibly quiet and calm; when we were there (4th - 18th July 2018) the place was probably at under 50% occupancy which added to the tranquillity.
The villa is well equipped with the essentials working well; good fridge, effective air con in both bedrooms and main living space.
Very generously proportioned private pool for the size of property.
Onsite restaurants – the Middle one was hit and miss but the restaurant adjacent to the hotel reception was good and, while more expensive than local eateries, was cracking value from a British perspective.
The maintenance of the pools, both private villa pools and the larger pools that are part of the hotel, could really do with better maintenance. The white plastic drains that surround the edge of the pools were really dirty and attracted wasps as a result. I dare say easily fixed with a good jetwash. A problem at the large pools but not so much the pool at the villa was many tiny tiles missing or loose at the bottom of the pool. Really not enough to spoil your holiday but probably an easy fix for the hotel to improve the general quality and feel of the resort.
With a good few of the villas unoccupied many private pools were empty and most were easily accessible. Not a big problem if you keep an eye on your kids but maybe not a great idea in a family resort.
The table service at the hotel is not what folk are used to in other countries. The staff were mostly very friendly but some had a lot less English than others. Food is served when it’s ready rather than all at once; no problem once you’re used to it but a surprise at first.
Obviously the cons I listed are nitpicking but with a few very small tweaks this resort could feel five star. All in all a great place to be and always felt relaxing, peaceful and safe.
Thank you for taking the time to write exhaustive comments, Gregor !
I am delighted that you enoyed your stay.
I will share with the resort management the points regarding the collective facilities to help them improve their services.
You are most welcome to stay again in our villa.
Very relaxing and peaceful
We had a lovely stay here the villa was spotless and has everything that you need for a relaxing time, and if you want nightlife then that's not far away either.
Just 10 mins drive and you have supermarkets and small shops selling everything that you need, plus there are some great restaurants and bars in the local villages.
We were so impressed by the whole set up at the complex that we are already looking at returning in September
Dear Maureen and Ken,
I am very pleased that you appreciated not only the villa but also the resort, as a lot of efforts are being put in it by the management and it is always rewarding for them to know that our guests recognise it.
You are most welcome to stay again in our villa, any time !
