Apartment near Burriana Beach, Nerja, Costa del Sol, Spain - This Lovely Apartment in a Quiet, Well Kept Complex, 5 Mins from Nerja's Best Beach

Perfect for both couples and families. Furnished and equipped to a very high standard, including air con and wifi, the apartment has 2 bedrooms, bathroom, sitting room with separate dining area and fully equipped kitchen. Residencial Aljamar is close to the supermarkets (less than 5 min by car) and some local shops. It is approx 400 meters up from Nerja's best beach (Burriana) and is a 15 min walk into the lovely old andalusian town with its cosmopolitan blend of restaurants, shops and bars. The patio doors lead to a sunny terrace with large awnings to provide shade when eating alfresco. Linen and towels are provided. All rooms have air con/heating and powerful ceiling fans for your comfort. There is a good sized swimming pool on site and the apartment has secure garaged parking.

About Anne

I am a retired Special Needs Teacher and my husband is a Lawyer. We live in a small village in Lancashire and like to get out to Nerja as often as we can.

Anne purchased this apartment in 2005

Why Anne chose Nerja

We chose to buy our apartment in Nerja because we had holidayed here for many years with our two boys and just loved everything about it. We didn't want to buy an apartment on one of the larger complexes in Nerja so chose Aljamar because it is small, tranquil and beautifully maintained. We still love to sit on the terrace watching the sun go down while sipping a glass or two of Rioja.

What makes this apartment unique

We have furnished and equipped our apartment with care. So often we have been disappointed when arriving at holiday lets and were determined to furnish ours to a high standard, a home from home. We are very lucky to have found a perfect English couple who look after the apartment for us and who maintain the high standards we expect for our guests.

Notes on accommodation: Welcome pack £20 (includes wine, water, juice, milk, tea, sugar, jam, bread, butter, ham and eggs). A cot can be provided at an additional cost of 20 euro (paid locally). Outside: The patio doors lead to a sunny terrace fronted by a small grassed area. The terrace contains patio furniture and is fitted with large awnings that can be lowered to provide shade when dining alfresco. The complex has a good sized swimming pool. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are provided, please bring your own beach towels.The property is cleaned weekly with change of linen and towels

Best holiday ever!! Anne’s apartment is really lovely, quiet and well equipped. The property, pool and complex are well maintained and spotlessly clean. Great to have really efficient air conditioning and fast WiFi. Anne was really helpful, providing useful info, restaurant recommendations (really good places to eat down at Burriana Beach or in Nerja Town itself) and car hire (we went to Granada -amazing and Malaga Old Town). We will definitely return and recommend. Thanks Anne.

Immaculate, calming apartment

My husband and I stayed for a week in Anne’s lovely apartment with our 2 young kids mid May.

It was beautifully clean, cool and was completely equipped with everything we needed while away.

The pool was great, also faultlessly clean as was the complex.

Anne was so helpful and polite and provided great information on the local area.

The hill back from the beach was incredibly steep which was hard with the pushchair and for our 3 year old, but kept us fit!

The local beach is STUNNING, and has some lovely restaurants overlooking the bay.

Would definitely recommend. Thank you Anne.

Fantastic Apartment, in a beautiful complex!

A fantastic clean and well equipped apartment. We had an amazing holiday, we found the apartment offered everything we needed and more, it's so well equipped. We loved it so much and found it so relaxing that we even stayed in and cooked on a few nights, something we would never have done previously. Anne, the owner, was so helpful and recommended a wonderful car hire company, the least stressful experience we have had to date where car rental is concerned. We were there late September, the complex was lovely, very quiet and peaceful, and we were lucky to have fantastic weather. The Burriana Beach area is lovely, lots of really good restaurants within a 5 minute walk of the Apartment. Can definitely recommend Rincon Del Sol, the food was amazing and right on the beach. We would definitely go back to this Apartment and would highly recommend it to friends and family.

Beautiful spacious apartment

Really lovely apartment! Had absolutely everything we could possibly want and of the highest quality! The bed was extremely comfortable! Was lovely sitting out on terrace in the evening!! The hill down to the beach was a bit of a challenge when returning after a meal but didn't take too long to climb up!! Anne was superb, any questions or queries were answered very quickly and was generally so helpful with everything!! Loved our stay and the weather was absolutely amazing!!

The apartment was immaculate, couldn't have asked for more.

The apartment is absolutely gorgeous, lovely terrace with table and chairs for relaxing in the evening sun with a view of the mountains to your right and sea views to the left. Very well equipped with everything you need. Lovely bedrooms and comfy bed. Great location for the beach, restaurants and bars, rather a steep climb back up the hill afterwards though, but it kept us fit! We hired a car and explored some other places, Mora beach is delightful but you have to get there early to park, also the beach torrox is lovely. Thoroughly enjoyed our first trip to Nerja and Anne provided excellent information and was always quick to respond to any queries. Highly recommended.

Lovely spacious apartment, a home from home

A really lovely apartment well located in Nerja. After a week sightseeing in Cadiz & Seville it was bliss arriving here to relax for a week. Perfectly located for Burriana and the old town, as well as a splattering of restaurants and supermarkets in between. It's great having the pool close by and the private balcony space too. The complex is very well maintained and other people were very friendly.

Booking was easy from start to end, Anne gave us all the details needed well ahead of time so that we could just relax in to the holiday. Great communication and booking process.

Thanks for a lovely stay, we'd certainly recommend to others.

Nerja is conveniently situated approximately 45 minutes from Malaga Airport along the N340 coastal highway. It is about 90 minutes from Granada airport. Although car hire is not essential it is recommended. There are lots of lovely towns and villages to explore along the coast and in the mountains not to mention the fascinating city of Granada.

Further Details:

This well established resort has managed to escape the high rise development and neon lights of so many along the Costa del Sol. The old quarter of the town has preserved the traditional style of Andalusian village with an international blend of restaurants, shops and bars. Nerja offers a wide range of activities including tennis, sailing, water sports including scuba diving and horse riding. Nerja is also a favourite with walkers who can enjoy many coastal walks or venture into the Sierra Almijara mountain range directly inland from the town.

The Cuevas de Nerja is a major attraction and well worth visiting. Nearby is the attractive village of Frigiliana with its narrow cobbled streets and whitewashed houses. Further afield is the fascinating city of Granada and its famous Alhambra Palace.
