This luxury villa ticks all the boxes! Casa Dragao will comfortably sleep two families offering spacious and homely living accommodation. It is situated in a quiet cul de sac with the beach, bars, restaurants and shops all within walking distance. Air-conditioning is also available at an additional cost. The villa has been refurbished with good quality furnishings, together with quality bed linen and Egyptian cotton towels. The property is tiled throughout and the living rooms are bright and airy with a very well equipped modern kitchen. The outside living space is stylish and secluded with a private pool 4m x 7m (which may be heated at an additional cost) and a bespoke shaded area and traditional barbeque. There are three bath/shower rooms and two of the four bedrooms have balconies - to enjoy that first drink at sundown! The villa is very suitable for families with a basket of toys for small children, together with a travel cot, highchair and two stairgates, a baby bath and blender. For the adults, there are two fridges; one being a large larder fridge to keep your drinks cold!

Loved our time here…

We visited as a family of 4 plus two grandparents for one week. The villa was clean and fully equipped. The owner and villa manager were easily contacted when needed. The TV took us a little while to get our heads around but once we did it was fine. We especially loved the pool and were lucky to have good weather. Check in and check out were super easy. We also loved the area of Carvoeiro - it is a quiet village (quiet nightlife) but this is perfect for us. It may liven up as the season goes on! It is an easy walk down to the central area but a very steep hill back up to the villa. We often got a taxi back up the hill especially with elderly grandparents - it was easy enough to do this. I’d say a hire car is essential for visiting nearby beaches and other areas in the Algarve. We would def book the villa again and if not available (as can only do outside of school terms) would book in the Carvoeiro area again.

Great Place

We had 5 adults stay here and we loved it, location was great only 10/15 min walk to local bars and restaurants. A very nice quiet area with a beautiful heated pool to relax in. We would definitely stay again, thanks.

Amazing villa and perfect location

We had a wonderful stay at casa drageo . It was perfect from start to end very spacious but with a cosy feel. The pool was amazing. We would love to stay again.😀😊

Second Timers

This was our second stay at this property. Just like the first visit it was spotlessly clean and was cleaned again during our stay. There are 4 bedrooms with very comfortable beds, plenty of storage space and a family size bathroom and an en-suite. There is a very well equipped kitchen and a lovely living room but with a lovely outside space we didn't use this room. The highlight for my family is the fabulous swimming pool area which is very safe for children as it has a gate to seperate it from the rest of the outdoor space if required. A fabulous time was had by all.

Lovely Villa, very clean , family of 6 and always plenty of room Pool is a delight and not to deep Only issue for us was the air con in our room was off for about a week - it was replaced so take it there was a serious problem with it Town is threat and bakery is fantastic for breakfast Loads of places to eat , great wee beach Hopefully we will get back at some point

Hi, our names are Patricia and Keith and we live in a broadland village in Norfolk. We have two daughters, Louisa and Hayley and four grandchildren - Florence, Leo, Oscar and Joseph.

Why they chose this property

We had spent many happy holidays in the Algarve before we bought Casa Dragao.
It took 18 months researching the area to find the perfect villa in the ideal location. It has everything! Walking distance to the bars, restaurants, beaches, shops etc. In a quiet cul de sac with it's own heated pool and 4 bedrooms.

We did not want a property on a complex with shared pool - we wanted something individual.

We bought Casa Dragao in November 2008. The day we completed the purchase was very exciting until I lost the keys on the way back to the villa! We spent the next 3 months refurbishing the property, putting in air conditioning and adding special touches to the decor and furnishings. We've recently added an en suite shower room to the master bedroom.

I hope you will agree that the end result is very functional, stylist, friendly and homely - we love it!

What makes this property unique

We have tried to think of everything you may need to make your holiday as comfortable and stress-free as possible. The villa is very well equipped from modern kitchen appliances and a TV with all UK channels to an ironing board and scrabble! As Casa Dragao is especially suitable for families, there is a travel, high chair, two stair gates (no need to keep moving the stairgate up and down the stairs!) and a blender. For the adults, we have recently purchased an additional larder fridge in the kitchen to keep drinks cold. There is also a large cool bag for those trips to the beach!

We think Casa Dragao ticks all the boxes and is ideal for two families. It offers a lot of space, excellent facilities and nearby amenities at a reasonable cost.

The accommodation is very flexible. We have had bookings from families, couples, people getting married in the Algarve, and also honeymooners!
