Holiday Home in Kington, Welsh Borders, Herefordshire, England - Peaceful Location, Yet Plenty of Interest Near By.
About Marilyn Kelly
Peter and Marilyn Kelly enjoy running their small holding of 20 acres and looking after the small flock of Welsh Mountain Badger Face sheep. Lambing in late March is always challenging but fun and we are sure we have the prettiest lambs in Herefordshire. We are happy for guests to bring their dog and enjoy the walk through the woodland, where no sheep graze, so dogs can run free. We attract birds by hanging feeders around the accommodation, the woodpeckers and nuthatches being of particular interest. Our land is of special interest for wild flora and we try to improve the habitat for the wild animals. This year we intend to create a scape and hope to encourage curlews to nest here. We are always pleased to meet guests and share our peaceful and wonderful environment..

Enjoyable and relaxing
Quiet countryside location. Comfortable accommodation. Lovely surrounding beauty spots in easy reach.
The country side is looking beautiful at the moment and with the Easter sunshine, your timing was perfect. There are plenty more walks from here so we hope to see you again.
Beautiful property and surroundings. Clean and relaxing.
This property is quaint, comfortable, clean and cosy. We had a lovely 2-night stay but wished we could've stayed longer to explore the surrounding areas much more. The woods behind the property were perfect for walking the dogs who enjoyed exploring. Marilyn and Peter were very hospitable and were around if we needed them. The property was well stocked everything we needed. Plentiful numbers of birds adorned the balcony, feeding throughout the day, making this property feel like a world away from city life. We would love to come back and enjoy a long weekend.
Peter and really enjoyed having Daniel and his partner stay in Keepers. It is always a pleasure for us when guests enjoy the locality and watching the wonderful variety of birds that visit the balcony. We hope they visit us again.
Nice and clean with beautiful views
We had a lovely stay at the barn. Shower is nice and warm and kitchen is well equipped for its size (no dishwasher, but we didn't cook too much so not an issue). Very peaceful and beautiful views.
We are delighted that the stay was enjoyed and that we could share the peace and quiet of this beautiful area.
Beautiful barn set in the most stunning location. Total peace and quiet amongst the trees. Nicely equipped and a bottle of wine to greet us....thank you! Lovely people too. Just wish we could have stayed longer.
