Tourism Board inspected and licensed (Alojament Local) – this upmarket yet very affordable property is situated right on the bus route, high up the hillside overlooking the quiet parish of Arco da Calheta, and the Atlantic Ocean. From there comes the name “Miradouro” which means viewpoint.
Easy access from street level means that you do not have to heave luggage up and down stairs. This also makes the property suitable to the elderly and very wheelchair friendly.
Stepping through the front gate you land on a huge veranda that stretches the full width of the front façade and wrap halfway around the sides of the main house. To the left, the BBQ area is directly linked to the kitchen side and to the right an intimate patio links with the lounge. From both these areas as well as the bedrooms, stunning views of the ocean and the wonderful sunsets can be enjoyed, perhaps over a glass of wine?
The sheltered outside entertainment and barbecue area on the veranda, has direct access to the kitchen. The kitchen is bright, roomy and well equipped with all the necessary appliances to make cooking gourmet meals a breeze.
The hallway leads off to the kitchen on the left and a spacious living area to the right with lounge and dining room. The lounge has luxurious genuine leather sofas and a large flat screen TV. Further down are the two sunny bedrooms, each with their own bathroom and private balcony, both with fantastic views.
A flight of stairs down and you are in the spacious communal lock up garage with remote controlled electric gate, roll up door and fully automatic washing machine for your laundry.
The one bedroom apartment can also be accessed from the garage as well as from its own private veranda.
The Villa and the semi detached apartment are rented out separately or together if you are a larger party requiring accommodation for 6 persons. A baby camping cot is available on request.

Other species to be fished in the bountiful waters of Madeira are Marlin, Tuna, Wahoo, Barracuda, Bonito, Spearfish, Swordfish, and Dolphin
Shopping and local climate: Arco da Calheta is a very attractive village which has a social centre, cafes and a number of small supermarkets which sell everything you need.
