Fantastic location & accommodation
From the first contact with Angie everything was so easy, the booking process was painless and any questions I had were answered within a few hours. On arrival at our holiday home we were all speechless, the whole place is just perfect! Decorated in a beautiful way, spotlessly clean and with everything you could ever imagine you might need, right down to a parasol and beach mats, brilliant. The beds were all very comfy and both bathrooms a joy to use, the lounge,kitchen,diner was a great space where there was more than enough room for the 4 of us to get meals ready if we didn't feel like eating out. Marseillan is a beautiful little town with a great market on a Tuesday morning, definitely worth a visit. There was also a small local food market on a Wednesday evening where they laid out long tables and played music, you could go and buy cooked food from local producers and talk to them about there product, wine, oysters, escargot, mussels, pate, pork, chicken, crepes, ice cream but to name but a few, we stumbled across this as we were deciding where to go for dinner and we were all so glad we did. Noilly Prat is also worth a visit, we did the explorerer tour which was great value for money.

We have just returned from a week long stay at this wonderful apartment in the centre of Marseillan. The apartment is very nicely decorated and furnished with all mod cons. There is a very efficient air conditioning system installed which operates on all three floors. Very nice bathrooms on both the ground floor and 2nd floor, with modern showers and units. The kitchen is fully functioning, including a dishwasher, microwave, fridge and freezer. There is a washing machine on the ground floor if you need it. We felt at home almost immediately and really appreciated the bottle of wine, water and milk in the fridge left by the owner. The apartment is really well located, on a quiet back street just around the corner of the centre of Marseillan. There is a lovely patisserie on the corner and convenience store just around the corner and there are numerous restaurants within a stones throw. Despite being so close to the centre, it is very quiet. The harbour is no more than a pleasant and leisurely 5 mins walk away. Marseillan plage is approx a 30 min bike ride away. We really loved our time in this wonderful apartment, in this lovely little town and wouldn't need to think twice about coming here again.

Very well presented property in a great location

A stunning, well appointed, newly renovated property, with every comfort catered for.
We have stayed many times in Marseillan, we love the character, the restaurants, and the gorgeous walks. Its proximity to Bezier, Sete, Pezenas and Montpelier all add to its charm. This beautiful house is situated in the ancient part of the town, with its winding narrow streets, but extremely close to all the amenities, having one of the best boulangeries in the town within a two minute walk. The restaurants in Marseillan are all superb, we have not had a bad meal in all the years we have been coming here........a favourite being La Table d'Emilie, which is few short steps from the house.
The house itself is superb, having been renovated recently to a very high spec. You have everything you need for an extremely comfortable stay. On the lower floor there is a beautiful twin bedroom with a very well appointed en-suite shower room, along side there being a handy utility room with a washer/dryer.
Go up the stairs to a sunny, bright kitchen/diner/sitting room. The kitchen being ultra modern with all the appliances needed for your stay.
Up stairs again to a large master bedroom, with a stunning en-suite shower room.
All the rooms have air conditioning, which makes for very comfortable sleeping when the weather is hot and sunny.
My husband and I will certainly be returning to this beautiful restored Maison de Ville in wonderful Marseillan.

Situated 3km from the beautiful golden beaches of the Mediterranean. These stretch 16km from Cap d'Agde to Sete, the golden sands and warm shallow waters which make it a safe haven for children. Watersports are available at some beaches whilst other beaches may well be deserted! Marseillan Ville also has its own small beach on the edge of the Etang du Thau.
Ryan Air flies to Bezier (just 20 minutes from Marseillan) and to Nimes, Carcasonne and Perpignan, all of which are within a two hour drive. Easy Jet flies into Montpellier and Flybe flies from Southampton to Bezier during the summer. Car hire is available from all airports, alternatively we can arrange airport pickups. Eurostar rail links & TGV go to Agde (10 minutes from Marseillan). Average driving time from Calais is approx. 11 hours.
Further afield but within easy driving distance are many classic areas of culture and the beautiful towns of Bezier, Montpellier, Carcasonne and Narbonne. Nimes and the Pont du Gard is about a 2 hour drive. Also close by are the Roman towns of Pezenas, St Thibery and Saint-Guilhelm-le-Desert.
The house is situated in the very heart of the old town, nestled behind the old town square where there are several bakeries, patisseries, pharmacy, local spar, butchers, oyster & mussel shops, greengrocers and banks. There is a market every Tuesday morning selling fresh produce, arts and crafts. During July and August there are also artisan markets.
