Puerto Alto is 'the' location in Estepona. It's close to the beaches and marina and yet quietly set in beautiful landscaped gardens surrounding the two pools, one of which is child friendly. The apartment has been luxuriously appointed with beautiful modern furnishings and is fully air conditioned . The master bedroom has a king size bed, built-in wardrobes, safe, en-suite bathroom with bath, shower, wc, bidet. The second bedroom has a two single beds that can join together into a Kingsize bed. Built-in wardrobes. The bathroom has a shower, basin and wc. The large terrace is south facing and not overlooked, it provides sun all day and has two sofas with coffee table table and chairs all rattan with cream cushions, wide roll out shade. The apartment has all facilities that include large screen TV, Wifi and Satellite, DVD and CD player, The location is ideal for all. Within walking distance of everything needed for a great holiday. Bars, restaurants, beaches and a short drive to all the golf courses on the Costa with 10 courses within 10km. Poolside beds parasols.

This beautifully presented 2 bedroom apartment has a super balcony (south facing) over the pools towards the harbour/port. The residence was well kept, although as it was early in the season ( end of April) the flowers were just being planted and only one pool was open. The main pool is 15m, I think, with the smaller one 12.5 metres long. Water temp was approx. 24 deg.
The main bedroom had a patio door and the bed was very comfy. Bathroom and separate shower room were really good. The lounge had quality furniture and the kitchen was well fitted. Everything was very good.
It's a short hilly walk to and from the nearby supermarket (5 minutes) and the port (10 minutes), but that didn't detract at all from our stay.....you're on holiday, take it easy!!
It's a very pleasant 15 minute boulevard walk into Estepona from the apartment.
Plenty of restaurants around the port, some English style , others Spanish...there's plenty to choose from.
Overall a very pleasant relaxing stay. Thank you.

Beautiful apartment great location
Just returned from a lovely break. The apartment is well furnished and has everything you need. The terrace is a lovely and big with sea views from the lounge and the master bedroom. The location is really good with the marina and the beach very close by. We had very good communications with Debbie before our arrival and she was lovely to deal with.
We plan to return, I would highly recommend this apartment.
Lovely apartment, great value
This is a great, well proportioned apartment which easily accommodates 4 people. It has a nice view and is in a quiet part of Estepona. The apartment is well equipped with good quality appliances.
There is air-con in the living room and both bedrooms which operated very quietly and very effectively at night - a definite bonus. The whole apartment was also spotless on arrival.
2 barbecues if you want to use them - we didn't because it was a short walk to plenty of restaurants.
The Android TV device took a little getting used to but worked quite well once we got the hang of it. The WiFi was also pretty good.
The complex itself is very well maintained - there were people cleaning, gardening and generally sorting stuff out all of the time. Clearly people are still moving into newly sold apartments.
The terrace was huge and is easily configured to sit in the sun or shade as the mood takes.
All in it made for a very relaxing week and we will recommend it to anyone thinking of staying in Estepona.
The apartment is situated overlooking the marina with beaches to both sides, to the left is Cristo Beach which is family friendly with a beach bar, sun loungers etc. To the right is the main beach running along the front of Estepona with the promenade running the length of this leading to the town. Both of these are within 5 min walk of the apartment. The marina is in front of the apartment which is still a working fishing port and marina which is also a 5min walk.
The main airport servicing this coast is Malaga which is approximately 45 min from Estepona, you can also use Gibraltar which is about 30min the other side of Estepona. A car is not required if you stay within Estepona as everything is within walking distance, but I would recommend one as there are so many places of interest within a short drive. Pick up and drop off for both of these airports can be arranged.
Trips for this area include Gibraltar which is 30min away also, Morroco, Seville, Granada, Caseras (unspoilt white village) 30 minutes away.
The famous Puerto Banus is only 20km away and well worth a visit. Puerto Banus is renowned throughout the world for it's shopping and restaurants with designer shops such as Gucci, Christian Dior, Louis Vuitton and many more. The night life is second to none and if you're feeling lucky there's the International Casino. Marbella is a further 5 min drive and a late breakfast at Orange Square has got to be the best. Other attractions include Estepona market, which is one of the largest in Spain and on a Wednesday morning is alive with everything you need. Sunday sees the market at the port where you can sit and have coffee or take a relaxing walk around the stalls. Gibraltar, with it's duty free shopping is a 25min drive but be sure to take your passport. Selwo Safari Park is a 10 min drive away and is well worth a visit.
