Superb Resort - Great for Families - 3 & 4 bed units - excellent value

This luxurious complex is the perfect destination for either a family or golf holiday. The 3 & 4 bed properties are attractive and well presented within the gated resort of La Vizcaronda Resort with terrific views to the coast. Each property has a small garden/terrace area/outside area. The open plan lounge dining with access to the terrace, which is attractively furnished with large garden table, chairs and sun loungers. There is also a BBQ for dining al fresco.The well equipped kitchen / utility has all mod cons. The bedrooms are spacious, well presented - some with ensuite facilities. There is also a family bathroom with shower. All untils have air conditioning/heating. All of the bathrooms have underfloor heating. Some of the houses have a larger garden which can be requested on booking. Very highly recommended

General Information:: This part of Andalucia is at the southernmost top of the Iberian Peninsula, where Europe meets with Africa. Gibralta is only 25 minutes drive away and steeped in UK history. Algerciras Port is only 30 minutes drive where there are numerous ferries and guided tours of North Africa. The Old Town of Marbella and the Port of Puerta Banus are must sees as is the wine/sherry tasting around the lovely areas of Jerez - the birth place of Flamenco Dancing. It is just a 4 minute drive to a selection of beachesThere are lots of beach clubs all along the coast where you can be pampered for the day. The nearby ports of both La Duquesa and Sotogrande have lots of restaurants where you will have lots of choice to suit all tastes.

Shopping:: There are a number of large supermarkets within short drives of La Vizcaronda where one can stock up for the duration of your holiday. There are smaller supermarkets in the immediate vicinity of this complex. La Duquesa has a number of small shops specialising in all sorts of goods. Estapona is a short drive where there is some excellent shopping facilities. El Cortes Inglis is an excellent Department Store in Puerto Banos.

You have choice of accommodation in this resort - apartment or townhouse. You have choice of number of bedrooms - 3 bedroom or 4 bedroom. I like the location as it is away from the huzzle of the main Costa. 2 minute drive will take you to the sandy beach, the port and a variety of shops and restaurants. There is also a little cafe within a couple of minutes walk from the resort. Safe resort suited for families in particular. 3 pools to suit different levels of swimming

Perfectly located overlooking the unspoilt beaches of this lovely region. Manilva is the southern most village in Europe, located on the eastern coast of the Mediterranean in Southern Spain. The setting is stunning. The town is flanked one side by terraced vineyards, stretching to the horizon and producing the famed muscatel grapes while, to the other, a magnificent panoramic view covers 25 kilometres of coastline. On a clear day you can see the background shimmer of the Atlas Mountains far away in the distance. San Roque, Valderrama and Sotogrande are within short driving distances. There is lots of things to do in the surrounding area - scuba diving, horse riding, polo at Sotogrande, water skiing in San Pedro, Dolphin & Whale watching by boat trip from La Linea, Gibralta and Tarifa, Wind Surfing at Tarifa, and of course a day trip to Tangier in North Africa. Close by you can enjoy the 5 star Hotel & Spa at Duquesa. There is also fishing at Sabinillas.

Golf: The house is within a 10 minute drive to some of the best golf courses in Spain - Valderrama, Sotogrande, San Roque (2 courses), La Reserva and Almenera. You can drive up to 30 minutes drive to Alcaidedsa, Finca Cortesin, Aloha and Las Brisas which are beside one another.
