About the property

3 Bedroom Apartment, En Suite + family bathroom, 3 Pools, sea and mountain views

A really well appointed apartment rented out for the first time in 2012. All furniture and appliances are in excellent order.

The apartment is in a prime position on a gently sloping site next to the sea. Inside the apartment is light and spacious. The South facing Lounge/Dining Area looks out onto a very spacious patio and garden with delightful sea views. The kitchen window has uninterrupted views to mountains. There is also a small private patio at the front of the apartment within lush gardens to have breakfast or spend the morning in the sun with a good book or simply to take in the view.

Evening dining on the lit main patio is a delight. (A BBQ is provided for guests use). Unrestricted views make this an ideal area to while away the warm lazy days, or by the pool which is only 50 meters from our patio. The patio has a bamboo permanent part shade,or open area to give sun or shade as required.

The Master Bedroom has En Suite facilities; a second bedroom with double bed; and a third bedroom with twin beds. There is a fully equipped family shower room. A fully equipped kitchen with washing machine, hob, oven, microwave, etc.

A comprehensive Guest Information Manual is sent by e mail to confirmed guests, and another is in the apartment describing how to operate the appliances, and repeating useful information about restaurants, places to visit, etc.

As an aside, the Spring and Autumn seasons are, in our opinion, very comfortable Still very warm, with temperatures regularly in the late 20C to mid 30C. Only four-and-half-hours away from the UK, come and immerse yourself in the unspoiled beauty that is Northern Cyprus.

For our valued guests in the event of emergencies our agent is on hand to give that added assurance of a relaxing holiday.

Visits and Special Interest Holidays: Activities available in North Cyprus include fishing, Golf, scuba diving, para gliding, mountain climbing, water parks, horse riding, boat tours, walking, cycle hire, bird watching and guided nature walks. The list goes on. Walking along the coast and in the mountains is delightful. There are beaches about 20km up the coast where the Turtles come up to lay their eggs in the sand. (May to July). The eggs hatch between July to Sept. Ornithologists 'flock' to the Karpaz ('the Pan Handle') to witness the many bird migrations that occur, either as a stopping off point en route to/from Africa, or as their Winter 'second home'.

Many recommendations are contained in the comprehensive Guest Information Manual that we have prepared over the years that we have been visiting Northern Cyprus. Visits to historical castles such as St Hilarion, Buffavento and Kantara together with the Bellapais Abbey, and the Shipwreck Museum in Kyrenia Harbour make for interesting days out. Famagusta and Salamis are also a must for visiting, in particular for the walled city (Famagusta) and the ancient ruins (Salamis).

Getting here: Ercan is our nearest airport in Northern Cyprus (30 mins drive). You can also fly to Larnaca in the south (about 1.5 hours drive). We can help with planning Car Hire or Airport Pick Ups on request. Our recommended car hire company (we have been using them for 5+ years) have a new fleet, and give excellent car hire rates. They also give heavily discounted taxi rates for collection from and return to Larnaca Airport for their car hire renters.

About Mr N. Hall

We are an active retired couple who have come to love Northern Cyprus for its peace, and the opportunity for some great walks. We come to the apartment several times per year to ensure that our standards are maintained, although our agents have not disappointed us in all the years that they have looked after our second home.

What makes this apartment unique

Why did we choose this apartment, and why in this area? We bought because we could see that it was going to be a fantastic development - and we were right!

We have made many improvements and have fully equipped it with WiFi, satellite TV, DVD player, CD player and radio, coffee filter, microwave, safe etc. There is also a water cooler which is a boon for the Summer. The apartment is air conditioned throughout. Baby equipment (cot, buggy, etc, can be hired on request at time of booking)

Throughout the apartment tasteful quality pictures and wall hangings complete the brightness of the decor .

Flyscreens to all windows and patio doors. Enjoy the fresh air without unwanted flying guests!

The site itself is fully secure and beautifully kept by the management company, and the feeling of community between the few that live on the site and holidaymakers is wonderful. It is a really good mix of the local people who live on the site, and in the locality. The site is fenced and secure. Access is gained by a key fob that opens the electric main gate. The site is a profusion of gardens. It has a three full size swimming pools, each with a children's pool. We have sea and mountain views from our patio. Our pool is illuminated and makes a lovely sight at night looking out from our patio. Covered areas around the pools and copious numbers of sun loungers and tables make this an ideal spot to relax, and to feel safe that children can be kept in the shade under the generously sized shades (6m x 3m).

The site gymnasium is fully equipped with running machines, weights, etc. The gymnasium building also has a sauna and whirlpool bath. There is also an 'on trust' book and DVD library there.

Cyprus really is a paradise for all sorts of natural and water sports. A lively atmosphere can be found without it being 'in your face' all the time. It therefore suits all ages, topped off with a genuine Turkish Cypriot welcome.

The property is on a private, gated development of 150 apartments, all only ground and first floor. 3 full size pools with children's pools. The apartment is on the ground floor with a private patio (15m2) and full width (artificially) lawned area. The patio is accessible through patio doors from the lounge and the Main and Second bedrooms. The patio is one third covered with a sun shading bamboo and wood shelter. An outside patio set (table and six chairs), and sun loungers with cushions are kept at the apartment for private use. The apartment is suitable for all ages and wheelchair access is straightforward. Satellite TV. Tea, coffee, water, etc are supplied as a welcome pack. Our local agent is on call to help for any questions or to help in emergencies.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful apartment. The grounds and the pool are well looked after and very clean. It was quite quiet during our stay and most days was just us around the pool. So no need to put your towels out at the crack of dawn! Car hire I would say is a must as restaurants are a good 10 mins away. Norman, the owner is fantastic, answers any questions and emails promptly. All in all we had a wonderful, relaxing holiday and would highly recommend

We were delighted with the apartment all as advertised well furnished pool area and garden's very nice do need a car we would recommend. A one car hire good service as recommended by owners. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette résidence, cadre reposant , bien entretenu, personnel serviable et agréable, un endroit parfait pour des vacances loin des touristes, avec des possibilités de visites importantes et sans aucuns soucis.

Le logement est propre, sécurisé et bien équipé, et confortable, des rideaux occultant ou des volets seraient les bienvenus afin de ne pas etre reveillés très tot.(jour a 5 heure du matin).

lovely property

I had a lovely stay at this holiday rental home. It delivered everything promised on the listing description.

The apartment itself was beautiful, stylishly decorated, clean and well-maintained. All amenities were fully functional with a fully equiped kitchen.

It really felt like a home away from home. It is situated in a lovely complex with beautiful gardens, swimming pools, a gym and allows access to the beach.

The views from the apartment were stunning, with lovely mountains on one side and the sea on the other. The owners promptly replied to any emails and enquiries and were really helpful. They provided all information needed to both enjoy the stay at the property as well as exploring the area and advice on local services such as car-rental. I would thoroughly recommend this holiday rental home and hope to go back myself soon.

Very nice apartment and stay - only thing to improve is the site management

Our stay at the apartment was quite pleasant with all the foreseen facilities ready available (play area for kids, super clean swimming pool, well mantained site in general). We were also surprised by the level of confort offered by the appartement, with nice and new furniure, very good beds, etc.

Our only regret goes to the site management. At our arrival we detected a small problem at the apartment, and the staff was on site a few minutes later ready to repair the small damage. Nevertheless the day we were leaving we were stuck there for one hour and half for them to come and fix the hot water. The site was virtually empty, when I called the managment for the second time reminding them on my previous call one hour before I was simply told the staff was busy. This is understandable, but I think people should be told they will be waiting for 1 hour and a half in order to assess what to do as alternative.

Otherwise I have to acknoledge all the info made available by Mr Hall on the site and the region was accurate and very useful. I would come back again to the apartment and recommend to do the same to interested friends, but I still beleve the site management should be better.

Perfect apartment & setting

This ground floor apartment had everything a family of 4 needed & more. It was spotless upon arrival & was extremely well-maintained. The 3 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms were an extra bonus and the apartment was extremely spacious throughout.

The apartment is situated in an ideal location as you can see the pool from the outside patio area. The pool area is well maintained & perfect whether you want the sun or chill under the shaded area, with plenty of sun beds. Because this is a privately owned complex, the pool area is perfect & quiet, with no need in the morning to reserve any sun beds, always some free any time of day - perfect!!

The owner provided lots of information about the area & was fantanstic about answering any questions before our arrival.

You definitely need to hire a car, although there are plenty of excellent restaurants & supermarkets near by they all need a car as most are 5-10 minutes away. ( tempo is about 10 mins, which is like a mini tesco & has everything needed).

We ate out most nights & all meals were fantanstic & very cheap, although the apartment had everything needed for the few nights we had a bbq. Nearby Roots bar became a regular meeting place before we went out for a meal.

The apartment was a perfect base to explore the local sandy beaches & also visit other attractions (boys loved a local hotel which had a Waterpark with different water slides).

Would definitely recommend this apartment to friends & relatives & would love to stay again if visiting norther cyprus.

Our local village:

The apartment is about 2 km from the authentic Cypriot village of Tatlisu.

Local supermarkets stock all daily necessities

Within 10 minutes drive from the complex there are several well recommended restaurants serving both local and international food, and all having outside terraces with magnificent views of sea and mountains, but also warm and friendly interiors for those chilly nights during late autumn and winter. (Our comprehensive Information Pack details them all).

The 18 hole championship standard Kyrenium Golf Club (20 mins drive) has fine dining and comfortable lounges.


The beautiful historic harbour town of Kyrenia (Girne) is an easy 35 minute drive with a profusion of quay side restaurants, bistros and quiet night life.


The complex has its own clean private beach which is in a small, sheltered cove. The cove is regularly 'litter picked'. There are also several convenient 2m x 2m decking platforms on the beach.

Beaches close by are at Alagadi, Beladysia, Acapulco, Turtle Beach, Lara Beach. Most also have beach side restaurants. 20 minutes drive to the East are the Karpaz beaches which are recognized universally as 'magnificent'.

Local attractions:

Where do we start! Northern Cyprus is a traditional Cypriot delight, for natural coastlines, countryside and archaeology. Bellapais Abbey, Buffavento; Famagusta; Salamis; the list goes on. The Karpaz ('Pan Handle') is an ornithologists delight, and wild flowers are in abundance in this unspoilt and undeveloped area.

Hopefully never to be required, but there is a 24hour Medical Facility in Esentepe, only 20 minutes drive away.
