Amazing location. Friendly and helpful staff! The only thing I would change are the door locks, they are very difficult to work with and temperamental. in fact one night the key broke in the lock fortunately we were able to remove that piece and they brought us a new set. If they were not able to come and bring us a set so quickly, or we were not able to remove that piece we may have had to spend the night on the street !!
Great place to stay in Rome!!
I was traveling through Italy with my wife and 3 teenagers in July 2017. We stayed here 3 nights. The apartment is in a great part of Rome within walking distance to most locations. It is very close to Campo di Fiori which we all really enjoyed. The apartment had Air conditioning which is a must in July. No problems with checking in or anything during our stay. I highly recommend this apartment.
Wonderful apartment in a great neighborhood
Perfect space for our family.
My mother and I stayed here for a week and highly recommend it. Frankly, I'd buy it if I could :)
Location & Accessibility
--It was perfectly located in the Campo Dei Fiori neighborhood which is walkable from basically every main attraction you can think of. We never took the bus or metro because we didn't need to. (We took a cab once toward the end of our trip to save our feet for the rest of the day.)
--the neighborhood is very quaint. it is somewhat touristy because there are a few smaller hotels in the area and with the market it attracts visitors but it still feels very authentic.
Size & value for money
-The place is huge - would easily accommodate 4 people if not more (on the futon-like couches in the open living room) if you don't mind a crowd. One of the bedrooms is much bigger (and the bed more comfortable) than the other so draw straws with your friends :).
-The kitchen is small (typical size for a big European city) yet adequate.
-The bathroom was a good size - though the shower was small, the water pressure was amazing.
-Management was very helpful and answered all of our questions and are available easily if you have any issues.
--air conditioning in the main room which cooled the entire flat was great! Definitely essential in the hot summer months. You do have to bleed it because it's a dehumidifier but that's the only downside.
Downsides/Be aware (note: these did not keep me from still giving the place 5 stars)
--the furniture was definitely Ikea special. I didn't find the couches comfortable and the bed in the smaller bedroom could use to be updated.
--the flat is on the 1st floor - in Europe that means a flight of stairs up from the main door. It's clearly marked that it's not wheelchair accessible in the description but it may be confusing for American travelers as to why.
--the washing machine isn't what an American would expect. You have to put the hose in the sink to drain b/c it's not plumbed in. We didn't end up using it because we weren't desperate enough to but if you are a larger party or a family, be aware.
--the apartment is tucked away 2 blocks south of the piazza and you can hear noise on busy weekend nights from the smaller bedroom if you have the window open
Feel at home
I spent almost 20 days in this lovely apartment: it is bright during the day and silent during the night, clean and well decorated, provided with all necessities in the kitchen, everything worked very well (air conditioning has been my salvation during the hot nights of August!). The apartment is in a wonderful location, one of the best neighborhoods of Rome, Campo de' Fiori, easy walk to all sights, market, bar and restaurants. In the night there are a lot of places where to have a beer and listen music. The staff was really kind and responsive, they quickly answered to emails, booked a taxi back to the airport. I highly recommend this apartment for a romantic vacation and to a family with children as well. You will not regret to rent this apartment!
Wonderful stay with family
We were two adults and two children for a vacation of five days. The apartment is large enough, so well decorated and quiet, even if it is two steps from Campo de' Fiori. We spent our evenings on the big sofas in the living room. The kitchen was equipped with all necessaries to have breakfast. We really appreciated the warm welcome of the manager who gave us some tips to enjoy our vacation. I think I will book here again.
This cosy apartment is located on a characteristic little street between the wonderful Piazza Farnese, site of the majestic French Embassy, and the lively and multi ethnic Campo de’ Fiori, habitual meeting point for both, tourists and locals. A farmer's market is held here 6 days a week until between 1 and 2 pm and later, the piazza comes alive with bars, clubs, and a vibrant social scene. Almost anything the historic center has to offer, can be reached within a 20 minute walk, but no worries, the area is well served by buses for those who prefer to take it easy.
