Great ocean view condo!

My boyfriend and I decided to book this condo for thanksgiving this year and it was perfect! The view of the ocean was amazing and it was the perfect size for the two of us. Only about 10-15 minutes from Lahaina with all the restaraunts and shops. I would highly recommend this property!

Great condo for a couple with fantastic view.

We enjoyed this condo and it was perfect for my husband and I. Our stay here was the second half of our trip and was a nice change from a resort. We were able to cook meals and enjoy them on the lanai overlooking the water-- you can't beat the view here! Only down side is that the pool at the property is shaded almost the entire day. However, easy access to the beach made this no big deal for us.

West Maui Aloha lifestyle in the fall

From the moment we arrived at Mahana on West Maui until we checked out, the 10th floor studio apartment served us very well. This was the second leg of a two accommodations stay, the first being a few days in a high-end Wailea resort. Both are wonderful, the condo allows for meal planning and non-hotel living. Easy shopping nearby for groceries and snorkel gear. The condo was clean and ready for our arrival. Loved having a washer/dryer in the unit. A small maintenance issue was taken care of immediately upon request. Lack of a recycling program for the property my only complaint. It pains me to put clean glass and plastics among food garbage and drop it down a chute for transport to who knows where. The pool/spa and barbecue area in great condition and the guests friendly without being over the top. Great place to experience the best of West Maui.

Beautiful views!

We stayed at the Mahana in unit 1003 (10th floor studio in the Molokai tower) in September. Owners Galina and Alex were very easy to work with, answering a question I had by email before we booked, and checking on us during our stay.

This unit had everything we needed for a very enjoyable stay. There were two comfortable chairs on the lanai with nesting tables, allowing us to breakfast there while watching the turtles and spinner dolphins. The king size temperpedic bed was very comfy and there was also a couch. There was a shower/tub combo in the bath, plenty of towels (including beach towels) and also some beach things like chairs, etc. in the closet.

It is so convenient to have a washer/dryer in the unit and the kitchen had everything you needed to cook meals. The grills by the pool worked great and were cleaned daily.

While we were there, the front door installation was finished, and privacy glass was added, which made sleeping easier (previously outside lights shined in at night through the textured glass insert in the door).

The Times grocery store is just across the street, along with multiple shops and restaurants within walking distance. Just next door is the boardwalk along Kaanapali Beach and Duke's (also next door) has a great happy hour. We walked down the boardwalk almost daily to snorkel either at Kahekili Beach Park or in front of the Westin Nanea or Honua Kai.

We have stayed in another studio and in a couple 1 bedroom units at the Mahana previously and found the 1 bedroom units got pretty warm in the afternoon. 1003 had great air conditioning, even in the late afternoon, the unit did not get uncomfortable. For two people, this is the perfect size and location for a great vacation!

The view was spectacular
