'Casa-Spencer' is a 3 bed-roomed villa that sleeps up to 7 people. It is situated within a gated complex overlooking a large beautiful swimming pool making it especially suitable for children.

It consists of a comfortable lounge with ceiling fans, English and Spanish TV, DVD/CD player, Radio/iPod Dock and dining table. The recently refurbished kitchen is fully fitted and equipped including a dishwasher. There is a downstairs loo and a utility area with washing machine. Upstairs there are 3 air conditioned bedrooms - two doubles (one with additional single bed) and a room with bunk beds. Newly renovated Bathroom with large shower. All bedrooms have fans in addition to aircon. There are terraces front and back- the front (poolside) terrace has sun blind and furniture. Free Internet access is included. The pool has a children's area and is supervised in main season making it particularly suitable for children. The house is 5 minutes easy & flat walk from the Port, which has a very friendly & relaxed atmosphere. The seafront has a beautiful, re-developed, marina/port, palm-lined promenade, superb range of cafes/restaurants/shops and a number of excellent beaches. Numerous activities are available including boat trips, go-carts and scuba diving. Other places of interest are a short drive away including the beautiful and dramatic Sierra de Espuña National Park.

About Tim

We currently live in a small village near Evesham, UK, on the edge of the Cotswolds. We have owned this property for 14 years now and still enjoy coming over for our holidays.

Why Tim chose Mazarrón

We chose this property due to the location;

The pool is wonderful and the complex is like an oasis close to the Port/town centre and being gated is very safe, particularly for children.

The Port itself has a very relaxed and friendly feel to it and has great facilities with a wide range of restaurants, shops and bars and other amenities. There is a great choice of beaches close by - apparently 33 of them - many within easy walking distance.

The area is also very beautiful with dramatic mountain back drops all around and lots of things to do.


What makes this villa unique

Our house has a traditional Spanish feel to it whilst having all the modern facilities to make stays as comfortable as possible. Many of our guests describe it as being a "home from home"

We continue to update "Casa Spencer" and have recently installed fast internet connection; a new kitchen, which now includes a dishwasher. All the bedrooms now have air conditioning and fans. We have added a double bed to what was the twin bed room whilst keeping one of the single beds so can now sleep 3 people (7 in total) if required.

Notes on accommodation: Gas fired and electric heating - Air con units also provide heat. Fans in all rooms. The complex is frequented by a mixture of Spanish and English families and has a very friendly atmosphere. The large pool and gated entrances to the complex make this accommodation particularly suitable for children. Outside: Table and at least 6 chairs and cushions on poolside terrace/patio. Car can be brought on-site. Large terrace at rear with bench seat. Utility Room: Washing machine and sink. Clothes drying rack. Ironing board and iron. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All bedding is provided. Towels for use in the house are provided. Towels for beach, etc are not provided. Cleaning and laundry at end of stay is included. Optional mid-stay cleaning and laundry change service available at additional cost.

Everything you could need

Ideal location with fabulous pool! Quiet residential area but with the port, beaches, bars and restaurants all a short walk away - the best of both worlds. Also the Sunday market is just at the bottom of the road! Villa and outside areas spacious, very clean and well equipped. We had a great stay and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone

Perfect location.

My husband and I spent six nights at the property and have to say it is the best place we have stayed in , in the area. Very clean and has everything you need. Location is great, close to shops and beaches , pool is spot on ! We had a dog and because this property overlooks the pool it was perfect for us as he could still see us and us him. Will certainly book again.

fantastic villa in a great location. surprisingly large pool, with spacious well kept communal area. Villa was very well equipped and comfortable with everything you need. (only thing missing is a BBQ).

We had a brilliant time and hope to return.

Short walk to bars and restaurants which offer good value for money. Local supermarket 5 min walk and stocks everything you need.

Home from home!

This is a lovely holiday home, well furnished and in a great location. The bed we slept in was so comfortable. There are two large sofas which are super comfy if you just want to chill out indoors. There is a big tv or you may prefer to play games in stead! Outside there are two great seating areas, one of which overlooks the pool. So you can have sun all day long. The kitchen is new and well equipped so if you want to stay in and cook your evening meal, it's a pleasure to work in. Equally you could eat out at a different restaurant every night. There is lots to do and see in the surrounding area and there are details in the villa about this. I would certainly recommend this to friends and family and we shall be back for a repeat visit.

There are a number of beaches available - the main town beach, by the new Marina is 10 minutes walk. Bahia beach, probably the best one in the area is 10 minutes walk. Bolnuevo beach is 5 mins drive.


Nearest airport is Murcia 45 minutes drive. Alicante Airport is 90 minutes drive away.

We recommend car hire for transfers from airports - especially for larger parties. Car hire at reasonable rates is available from both airports (see our Website for details).

It may be possible to arrange airport transfers for parties up to 3 people, please enquire.

Alternatively, there are some web based taxi companies that can be booked on-line.


5 minutes walk to supermarket, bars restaurants and town centre. 10 mins walk to beaches. Short drive to the historic naval city of Cartagena, beautiful and dramatic Sierra de Espuña National park and the "Guns of Mazarron".

We require a Breakage deposit of £100 to be paid with the balance to cover any damage - this is refundable within 7 days of the return of the keys, minus the cost of any breakages, should there be any.
Cancellations:- Up to 2 months before;,full refund. Between 2 months and 1 month; deposit is none refundable. Less than one month - full cost is payable. If someone else can be found for the same time then a refund may be available.
During Peak Season we prefer Rental periods to be from Saturday to Saturday and full weeks only - if you need something different to this please ask.Outside of Peak season start finish days and duration's are flexible.
The rental charged covers the reasonable usage of electricity, water and gas, for the duration of your stay together with cleaning of house & laundering of bed linen/towels at the end of your stay. For bookings of 2 weeks or more a 'mid-stay' clean & laundry change can be arranged at additional cost.
The House will be ready after 3 pm on the day of your arrival. On the day of your departure please vacate the property by 10:00am to enable preparation for the next guests.
Payments via Paypal will incur an additional 4% fee to cover the cost of using these facilities - payment via bank transfer are free.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 30 days before check-in date.
  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 60 days before check-in date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
