Welcome to this quiet secluded cottage on Lakeside peninsula. The cottage was built in 1894 but has been recently updated (again). The first floor has a large kitchen with retro furnishings, all in great working order. Large living room has french doors that open onto an enclosed porch with wicker furnishings providing a fantastic view of the lake, sunsets and sunrises. The master bedroom is on the first floor also with picture window facing the lake. Upstairs opens up to a common room with a futon. A great place to sneak away for a nap. Off of the common room are two bedrooms. One has a single bed and the other has a full size bed. All bedrooms have overhead lighted fans. On the lake side of the house there is nice yard with a patio overlooking the patio. the patio has a burn pit built into it for those evening camp fires. On the road side of the cottage ( think really quiet road) there is another porch with rocking chairs. Across the road, there is another shaded that fits 2 to 4 chairs. From there, there is a set of wooden steps leading down to Johnson's Creek. Johnson Creek boasts some of the best fishing in the country! Depenidng on the season you can catch perch, bluegill, pike, salmon, trout... you name it! There is 20 feet creek frontage with dock that goes out into Johnson's creek. The location is about an hour's drive to Niagara Falls. A few minutes drive and you can enjoy Lakeside Beach State Park. Just past that is Point Breeze, also known for great fishing, and has waterfront dining.

it was Awesome we had a very enjoyable stay . The place was well kept and cozy we had the best of both worlds with the river on one side and the lake on the other.
Wonderful cottage in a lovely setting!
We had a great time! Fantastic water view, cottage and linens were clean and comfortable, adequate kitchen stuff. A little bit of a drive to shops, but not bad. Interesting antique stores in the area and an abundance of farmer's markets. We had 5 adults and did not feel cramped - feels bigger inside than it looks. The yard was well-kept and the front porch was nice for sitting too. We look forward to coming here again sometime.
Amazing place to get away.
We loved everything about this place from the views to the location. Ron was very helpful with places to suggest to go. It is only 45 minutes to the falls but feels like another world. We can't wait to go back!
Nice place the only thing I wish it had was a washer and dryer,Nice quiet relaxing place to stay ..
Wonderful place to spend a quiet, peaceful vacation.
We had a wonderful time. The cottage is in a great peaceful location. Just an hour away from Niagra Falls and Rochester.
a beautiful sun set and sun rise every day. Wonderful views over Lake Ontario without the hustle and bustle of tourism.
Ron was available to answer any questions. Would stay there again.
Thank you for a WONDERFUL vacation spot.
