The Best Appointed Apartment on site located next to the Best Pool on the Complex 5 minutes from the Beautiful Fishing Village of Bogaz, 20 minutes North of Famagusta

Our lovely downstairs apartment sleeps 4 in a double bedded room with en-suite and in a twin bedded room with a family bathroom. It has free private broadband internet, it is fully air conditioned, fully furnished and fully equipped. It has TV, satellite and DVD player. Patios front, side and rear with wicker furniture and also an outdoor 4 seater dining suite. It is ideally situated next to a large, unusually shaped pool which is easily the best pool on the complex. It has sea views, off-road parking and is located on the new resort complex of Hilltop, Safa Koy. In addition to our pool, the complex also has a communal pool and a restaurant/bar/coffee shop. Hilltop is just a 25 minute walk or a 5 minute drive from Bogaz fishing village which is a small unspoilt village with harbour, cafes, bars, restaurants and supermarket. Bogaz is 25 km north of the historic town of Famagusta and near to the beaches and countryside of the Karpaz Peninsula (the pan-handle). Northern Cyprus is a lovely country to visit; the locals are friendly, English is widely spoken, the prices are reasonable, they drive on the left and the summer season is long and sunny.

We hope that you will enjoy using our apartment in Northern Cyprus. It offers more than your average holiday-let because it is also our own holiday home. We have filled it with everything you should need during your stay that normally you wouldn't find in rental accommodation; this is simply because we use all of the items ourselves. A little bit about us, I am in the Royal Air Force and my wife Fiona is a full time mother. We do our very best to ensure that everything runs smoothly for your holiday. Our apartment manager lives next door and will see you safely into the property and is usually on hand to help with any problems or questions that you may have during you stay. If you have any questions concerning the apartment or your holiday please feel free to contact us.

Why Stu & Fiona chose Agios Ilias

They say that the TRNC is like Spain was 40 years ago. The area is certainly unspoilt. It is still very easy to find magnificent isolation on numerous secluded beaches up and down the coast; and yet there are also beaches offering the full range of facilities from sun beds to jet skis.

We bought at Hilltop primarily because of the charm of Bogaz fishing village which is situated a kilometre away, but we were also very lucky with the property that we purchased as it is certainly the best appointed on the complex. The view across the pool from the patio is worth a million dollars.

What makes this apartment unique

The apartment is adjacent to the best pool on the complex. The main patio overlooks the pool and is a delight at night when the pool lights are on.

Being so close to the pool makes it ideal to be able to keep an eye on the children and it is also just a few steps from the fridge to the sun-bed - very important.

The apartment is air conditioned throughout and has free broadband wi-fi. There is a ceiling fan in the master bedroom and both showers in the two bathrooms are thermostatically controlled rainfall showers,

In the past we have stayed in pretty poor self catering apartments that have been equipped with just a saucepan and a fish-slice and we have had to struggle through our stay. So we have provided considerably more equipment than that and catered for all of your dining in and dining out needs. For us the apartment is home from home; we hope that it will be for you too.

Notes on accommodation: The apartment is primarily our own holiday accommodation and so it comes equipped with far more home-comforts than you might expect from self catering accommodation. We like to think that we have presented our apartment so that it feels like a home and not a barren, empty flat with no soul. We hope that you enjoy staying here as much as we do. Outside: There are large patios front, side and rear. The patio to the front, North side, of the apartment is shaded and leads onto a walled lawn. The patio to the rear, South, overlooks the pool and has views to the sea. There is an outdoor dining suite and also a comfy, wicker, 4-seater, patio set with coffee table for those long, lazy evenings. The pool nearby is shared only between the adjacent apartments. It is equipped with your own private sun-loungers and parasols. Also on-site is a communal pool should you fancy a change. There is also a shared drive for off-road parking. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All bedlinen and towels are provided excluding beach towels. The apartment is cleaned prior to your arrival and interim cleaning and fresh towels may be requested from the on-site management upon your arrival for a small extra charge. Other: For your convenience we have provided: internet, parasols, cool box, ice packs, Tupperware boxes, emergency torch, emergency lanterns, ironing board, airer, DVD collection, CD music, paperback swap and clothes hangers, hair dryer, BBQ, children's games.

Lovely apartment in peaceful surroundings

This apartment is in a lovely setting with a very attractive shared pool. Trevor, who lives next door, met us with the keys and showed us around this very comfortable and well equipped accommodation. The apartment was clean and the furnishings are of a high standard and there is everything you could need for self catering. Hilltop is a small complex away from the bustle of Bogaz but with easy access to a good supermarket and an assortment of restaurants. There is a restaurant on the complex which does excellent food and has entertainment on Saturdays. I would like to have given this 5 stars but for two problems which were that the TV only played DVD and the hot water pressure from the tap was low which meant waiting ages to fill a wash basin.

On investigation, I discovered that the satalite aerial lead had become disconected from the rear of the satalite receiver box and that a flexible metal hot water pipe was kinked and so was partially restricting the flow of hot water; both sorted now. Lovely peaceful part of the Island perfect for a family with little ones.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the apartment to families with small children as everything you would need is available. Our stay at Stu & Fiona's apartment in Cyprus was very comfortable and most enjoyable. The apartment was of a high standard. It was large, spacious and clean. There were very good facilities and all the utensils you would need were available. A dishwasher would have been appreciated and we couldn't get TV to work but that was not a big issue. The teenage children appreciated the instant connection to wi-fi. There were also a selection of games, books & DVDs available which was a nice touch.

Felt very lucky to have a large, quiet swimming pool on our doorstep. Also, good to be able to use other pools on site. The restaurant and bar with some entertainment on site was great. However, a small shop on site would have been helpful. Definitely require to hire a car if you want to explore the surrounding area. So close to so many beautiful beaches and interesting sites.

Overall an excellent apartment in a quiet but gorgeous place.

North Cyprus,The well kept secret.

Had a good outward journey arriving slightly early at Stu's very clean and spacious well equipped apartment at Safa Koy. After a good nights sleep we had a hearty breakfast at Hilltop restaurant and then started our real holiday. Centrally located to give easy drives to Famagusta and local beaches such as Bafra as well as the unsurpassable Karpas peninsula with its pristine turtle beaches and wild donkeys it is a drivers paradise with some almost empty yet very modern new roads.A very scenic drive also brings Kyrennia and Nicosia within easy reach and parking is invariably free at most places.A slightly longer trip to Guzelyurt is also worthwhile not only for its colourful Saturday market but also for the freshly squeezed orange juice from newly picked oranges from one of the roadside stalls in the orange groves.There are lots of historical sites to whet your appetite such as Salamis and Bellapais so there is so much to see and do there's not much time to spend in the apartment but if you do the pool just outside the door is just brilliant and only five minutes away you can refresh yourself with a burger, chips and a drink at the harbourside in the charming village of Bogaz.

What more could any one want for a truly wonderful holiday?

Fantastic apartment in North Cyprus

We've just had one of the most enjoyable holidays the last two weeks of July and the beautiful well equipped apartment had a lot to do with it. The apartment is exactly as it is shown and advertised on the web site. One of the attractions for us was the good view over the semi-private pool from the apartment's veranda so that we could easily keep an eye on our children.

The owner's communication was fantastic and any questions we had were answered promptly and with all the detail you would need. The apartment has information sheets on everything from the best restaurants to visit, which numbers to call in case of emergencies and how to operate the different appliances. There were a great selection of books to read, DVDs to watch and music to listen too. Plenty of pool toys and inflatables kept the children well occupied in the pool every day. We also met plenty of friendly neighbours which contributed to the fantastic time we had. The apartment's care taker Trevor was friendly very helpful too. He even arranged car hire and the taxi to and from Larnaca airport for us.

Getting to the different heritage sites like the "Walled City" in Famagusta was quick and easy and well worth a visit. There are a number of lovely beaches to visit and most are only a relatively short drive from the apartment.

Restaurants and shopping in Northern Cyprus was overall very affordable and great value for money.

A huge thank you to the owners, Stuart and Fiona. We had a fantastic stay.

My wife Heather and I have enjoyed several holidays in Cyprus and suffice is to say that we much prefer the North to the South…for one reason the beaches are much better. Our most recent holiday

in October 2014 was arguably our most enjoyable to date. From day 1 when I first made enquiries, Stuart could not have been more helpful and accommodating and we really should not have been surprised at what was awaiting us on arrival. But we were. The apartment was in pristine condition thanks, I understand, to the efforts of Trevor, the on site manager who looks after matters for Fiona and Stuart. Moreover the apartment is truly a ‘home from home’ and has an incredible array of equipment …even down to a cool box for that picnic on the beach. The proximity of the superb pool was an added bonus and whilst I am not a great swimmer myself, Heather assures me it is the best pool she has ever had the privilege to use. And there is more !! We were utterly delighted at the on site restaurant on this small and friendly complex. The food was excellent and the entertainment by two different DJ’s encouraged us get up and boogie and we were, literally, ‘dancing in the street’. Oh and by the way, the weather was superb too!

So if you are looking for a relaxing holiday that can offer you everything you could reasonably expect then look no further than Fiona and Stuart’s apartment.. Needless to say we have rebooked for 2015 and true to form, Stuart has again been a real pleasure to deal with.

The apartment is 2 km from the coast with an unspoilt beach. Up and down the coast there are numerous beaches offering varying degrees of services from none at all to those providing sun-beds, bar, restaurant and water sports.


It is possible to fly into Ercan in the North of Cyprus or into Larnaca in the South. Transit times are 1 and 2 hours respectively. A car is advisable to explore the island. Hire cars from the South are allowed into the North side but not vice versa. There are a number of locations through which to cross the border. Airport transfers and car hire can be arranged if you require.

The apartment is located on the new resort village of Hilltop, Safa Koy. It has its own private broadband internet. In addition to our pool, which is shared only between the adjacent properties, there is a further communal swimming pool for your use should you fancy a change. There is a bar/coffee-shop/restaurant on site and landscaped gardens surround. Hilltop is approximately 2km to the unspoilt beaches and 25 minute walk to the small village of Bogaz which has bars, restaurants, cafes and beaches. Bogaz is located near to the unspoilt area of the Karpas Peninsula with beautiful beaches, drives and walks. Salamis ruins, a ruined Roman city, is a short drive away.
