Set in the peace and tranquility of the Andalucian countryside, this beautiful villa has the most stunning views across the valleys and pueblos blancos (white villages). The property has its own private pool, gardens and patios. There is agas barbecue and covered seating area for dining "al-fresco". The villa is extremely spacious and provides exceptional comfort. The village of Colmenar, located a short drive away provides an excellent selection of bars, restaurants, supermarkets, banks, 24 hour medical centre and bustling weekly market. Casa Bellavista is an ideal base for day trips to historic Granada, cosmopolitan Marbella, Malaga old town, Nerja, the extensive beaches and excellent golf courses. Locally, we are close to the Torcal and Montes de Malaga National Parks, also a great area for walks, cycling, horse riding etc. Along the coast there are excellent shopping complexes, water parks, marinas, zoos and cinema complexes.Tree house, wendy house and trampoline

About Angela

My husband and I moved to this beautiful region 16 years are still singing its praises! Our children were born here and have totally embraced the Spanish way of life and language. We endured many years of toil, mañana syndrome, heat, frustration, situations lost in heard it all in the novels! We now run our own exclusive property rental business here in this spectacular region. We have a selection of beautiful properties to suit most peoples' requirements, with private pools, gardens and fabulous views. It was worth it, sometimes we even squeeze a little time to enjoy the sunshine, relaxing way of life and fabulous regional vino! Our extensive knowledge of the area we also pass on to clients to ensure they have a wonderful time.

My husband, our young son (9 mos) and I spent a month here and we had a lovely stay! Well appointed, private location with an amazing view, exactly as in the pictures!The property is easy to get to from the airport - though the last five kms of narrow, windy road were mildly terrifying for us at first we quickly got used to it. We stayed in February so the weather was a bit chilly and we were happy to have the wood stove in the living room which kept us quite cozy. Angela is friendly and helpful when we had questions and otherwise left us to do our own thing, exactly what we were looking for. Thanks for a great stay :)

Lovely quiet spot with a fantastically beautiful view of the mountains.

Angela and her husband couldn't have been more helpful or responsive. Angela came to see us and gave recommendations for local beauty spots and places to eat. The chickens were a real hit with our teenagers and the fresh eggs every morning were the highlight of the holiday.

The place was beautiful, rustic and quiet albeit with a precarious drive/road down to it!

Would definitely recommend Angela, the house, the chickens and the area, we had the very much needed rest and holiday required.

Very pretty & charming villa with inspirational views

We have had a wonderful time at Casa Bellavista!

The surrounding views are inspirational and ever changing with the light of the day! It is worth waking early to see the sunrise over La Maroma mountain - spectactular!

We loved the villa and found it chaming and very comfortable and spent most days splashing in the pool and enjoying barbecues or playing family games - there are plenty provided. Our daughter also loved feeding the chickens, checking on the geckos each day in the tree house and playing on the slide & trampoline. Although connected to the larger farmhouse we found our villa private and not disturbed at all by our neighbour guests - in fact we wondered if they were actually there!

Colmenar is a lovely village and the local shop stocked lovely fresh fruit & vegetables and all the things you would need.

We would recomend a visit to Ronda which, although a couple of hours drive away further inland, is well worth it as it is so very beautiful and so interesting. Take the horse & carriage ride first. The drive is beautiful too and through some stunning scenery and farmland.

We will definitely be back and have fallen in love with the area 🍊😎☀️🐐🍉🍷☀️🌴

Stunning location

We had a wonderful holiday. Absolutely stunning location overlooking the mountains. What a marvellous place to have a dip in a swimming pool. Angela was very friendly and helpful. We did find it a little remote for a night out. You need to budget for taxis if you want to have a drink. The Balcon de los Montes in Colmenar is recommended. Very friendly and good food. If you're willing to travel up to Comares on the mountain tops, the Table Mountain restaurant is gorgeous.

Only one minor niggle with our hol - the outdoor cushions needed a wash (on both the loungers and the picnic bench. ) And the stray dog sleeping on them didn't help.

We have also had lots of good reports for El Balcon and Table Mountain which is great as it is nice to recommend a good place. Manuel, our local taxi driver is 8 euros which I think for 2-6 persons is very reasonable if you decide not to drive into the village. We have managed to get the local rescue group to collect and rehome the little puppy. New cushions now bought ready for our new guests arrival this week. Onwards and upwards as they say!
