Villa with Pool near Coral Bay, Paphos, Cyprus

Villa Stavroulla has been beautifully furnished and equipped to offer a high standard of accommodation. The villa is air-conditioned and centrally heated. It has a large private overflow pool, with an inbuilt jacuzzi at one end. The pool can be heated in low season (surcharge). It stands on a larger than average plot, with a separate lawned area set away from the pool. It is located about a mile from the centre of Coral Bay which is lined with shops and a variety of bars and restaurants, offering a choice of Cypriot and international cuisine. The wonderful sandy beach provides warm shallow waters and numerous water sports. Paphos is a short drive away, where historical sites and a livelier nightlife may be found.

About Jennifer Chard

We are both dentists, living and working just outside London. We have three adult children, one married, one about to be and the other who is still living at home.

We enjoy walking, skiing, water sports and Nick plays golf.

We are fortunate to have a very close family, who with their partners, ensure that we manage a least a week every year, together in Cyprus. Happy days!

Why Jennifer Chard chose Coral Bay

We have been coming to Cyprus since 1992 and in 2006 decided to rent a villa instead of staying in hotels.

It was during this time that we were given the opportunity to purchase Villa Stavroulla, and have never looked back.

We come over as often as we can, and make sure that we book off a two week period in the summer months to enjoy time with our children and their partners.

The villa is spacious with plenty of indoor and outdoor space. The pool area is secluded and quite private with plenty of room for people to enjoy the sunshine. As you relax on your sun beds you can enjoy views towards the sea. Stavroulla is located on the outskirts of Coral Bay, still within walking distance, but slightly away from the noise and cooking smells of the 'strip'. There are three restaurants close by, so you don't have to walk far for a good meal!

What makes this villa unique

Our villa is set on a larger than average plot, which means that you have more privacy than you would do when the villas are lined up next to each other, in 500sq metre gardens.

The overflow pool is virtually self cleansing, which means that bugs and leaves are flushed from the surface, making swimming a more pleasant experience.

We have a bar area and gazebo, as well as a wonderful roof terrace, where you can enjoy the beautiful Cypriot sunsets, and 360* views of the sea, mountains and surrounding areas.

A pool table, table tennis and darts board are provided for your entertainment.

Notes on accommodation: The villa is fully air conditioned and centrally heated, as well as having an open fireplace for use in low season. Wireless internet provided. Two bookshelves house a variety of books and a selection of DVDs for all age groups. There is a gate at the top of all stairs in the property, both inside and out. The roof terrace is reached via a long steep staircase, when enjoying this facility caution is advised. Outside: On entering the property through a Cypriot stone arch, you will be greeted by a pretty front garden with a wealth of tropical flowering plants. There is a table and chairs here for catching the early morning sunshine. The villa has extensive gardens with lawns and fruit trees. The 10x5m tiled overflow pool set on a large terrace overlooking banana plantations, vines and the sea beyond. The pool can be heated (surcharge). It also has an inbuilt jacuzzi. There is a BBQ, a stone bar with a fridge and a large wooden gazebo, providing a shaded area. This offers all that is required for alfresco dining. The area is fully furnished with dining table and chairs, sunbeds and umbrellas. There is also a pool table and a table tennis table. Steps (gated) lead down to a lower garden, this fenced area is laid to grass and surrounded by a hibiscus hedge and bouganvillia. A roof terrace provides the perfect place to watch the sunset, with panoramic views of the sea and mountains. Utility Room: Spacious utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Sink with draining board and storage cupboards. Large fridge/freezer. Iron, ironing board and tumble dryer. Kettle, toaster and facilities for tea making. Safe for valuables. Cleaning / Towels / Linen Bath towels, bed linen and blankets are provided. Please bring your own beach towels. Weekly linen change. Checkout cleaning on departure. Welcome pack included. Other: Very spacious downstairs lounge with stone fireplace, for those low season cooler evenings, Smart TV and ample leather furniture. there is as selection of DVD and books. Patio doors open out onto the pool terrace.

Excellent stay!

We enjoyed a fabulous two week stay at this property. The property is well equipped and with 5-6 fridges we could guarantee cold drinks etc...much needed given the 40 degree temperatures. The welcome pack and cake for my wife's 50th provided by the owners was gratefully received. The pool was ideal although the temperature did rise towards the end of the holiday..with the significant levels of sunshine. The air conditioning was a welcome bonus and the views out to Coral Bay from the roof terrace were superb. We had very few issues although the linen change was not the best with the downstairs linen not being completely changed. That said this is a minor in relation to all of the positives for the villa. I would strongly recommend this villa.

Wonderful, well equipped villa

This was the second time we have been to the villa. This time we went with our daughters for 1 week. Wonderful relaxing holiday in a very well equipped villa with everything you need. Really did feel like home from home. The pool area outside is so relaxing & the pool a good size. Lots of outdoor eating spaces & pool table, table tennis & dart board entertainment available. Will definitely return. Thank you

Stunning villa

We had a most wonderful stay at Villa Stavroulla. We traveled as two families and had so much space, plenty of bathrooms, excellent kitchen with every home comfort. The management team were amazing with any questions we had. I really can't recommend this villa highly enough. You will not be disappointed!!!!!

Excellent Villa

Superb villa with everything well thought out. Beautiful roof terrace to watch the sunset. The villa is exceptionally well appointed with fridges (5 in total). Beautiful outside space with comfortable sun beds, great size pool. Great bar area with a lovely covered seating area. We Had BBQ a couple of evenings the local supermarket sells fabulous marinated meat, huge prawns and fresh fish. We can just go on and on and can't wait to return. If your looking for a superb villa that is spotlessly clean and well appointed this is definitely a villa to stay at.

Special interest holidays:

Paphos, an UNESCO world heritage site, is the ancient capital of Cyprus and fishing port and the birthplace of Aphrodite. The ancient sites can be visited and the harbour provides a tranquil setting for the infamous sundowner and alfresco dining. There are numerous PADI diving centres located near the port.

Coast/Beach:

The large blue flag beach of Coral bay is just 2km away. The gently sloping sands offer an ideal location for young families, whilst the water sports centre gives opportunity to the more energetic holiday makers.

Travel:

Paphos International airport is about a 40 min drive away. Larnaca International airport is about 1 hour 30 mins away. Car hire is advisable since there is so much to explore in this area of reknowned natural beauty including the Akamis peninsula, a nature reserve with a wonderful stretch of unspoilt beach where the turtles breed, and a few traditional tavernas can be found. The main area of Coral Bay is approximately 15-20 minutes walk away.

Coral Bay is approximately 15-20 min walk away (approx 1.7km). Beach 2.5km. Nearest bar 0.2km. Nearest restaurant 0.2km. Nearest supermarket 1.7km. Paphos town (market) approx 12km.

Further Details:

The Main Street of Coral Bay is a 5 minute drive away. Here you will find a variety of restaurants, bars and gift shops. There are three tavernas and a restaurant with bar, within a couple of minutes walk from the villa.

The Tower Gym is a 5 minute walk away up the hill towards Peyia. Here you can enjoy daily or weekly membership.

Booking Notes:

A 25% Deposit is required at the time of booking. This is non-refundable. The balance is due 8 weeks before departure together with a £200 refundable security deposit. Insurance- you are advised to make your own insurance arrangements and note that booking deposits are non-refundable in the event of cancellation, unless an alternative booking can be secured.

Changeover Day:
Flexible changeover day. Guests are requested to vacate the villa by 11am on the day of departure.

Notes on prices:
Prices are for the property per week and per day in British sterling. Air-conditioning/central heating is included in the price. Wireless internet is also included. Pool heating (gas) available at a surcharge (approx £45 per day).
There is a pool table and a table tennis table. A deposit of 100 Euros is required payable locally, if you wish to use these facilities. This will be returned on departure provided the equipment is complete and undamaged. Unavailable for Xmas/New Year rentals.
