Long Beach is quietly located beside marshland with far reaching views of sand dunes and miles of flat meadows filled with sheep and flowers. Long Beach offers a south facing decked garden, with quality furniture, BBQ complete with secure garage, plus a reserved parking space.

Long Beach is a warm and bright contemporary furnished holiday cottage, with a?well-equipped kitchen/ breakfast room, including Washer / Dryer,?Microwave and Dish Washer, a spacious living/dining room and? downstairs cloakroom. Upstairs are two double bedrooms,? each room has luxury zip-link beds to allow full size single beds or super king doubles, with Egyptian cotton bedding.

For golf and watersports lovers, the secure garage offers somewhere to store? equipment and golf clubs and to hang up your wet suits, etc and avoid ?having to bring them into the house.

We all remember our first trip to the seaside, but we don’t remember the struggle for mum and dad lugging all bits and pieces needed for our holiday.

Whether you’re looking to build sand castles with your children or help them explore fascinating rock pools, Camber Sands offers the country’s most spectacular sandy beach and paddling-friendly waters right on the doorstep of Long Beach.

Holidays with young children and toddlers means lots of bulky luggage, high chair, travel cot etc, so to ease the load Long Beach holiday cottage has been specially equipped with baby friendly features such as there is a high chair, stair gate, travel cot, plus a baby listening device.

Long Beach is perfectly located on the East Sussex/Kent border allowing you to explore two of England’s loveliest and most historic counties, East Sussex’s 1066 Country and Kent’s Garden of England. Being only one and a half hours from London you can also make the most of what the capital has to offer, take in a show in the West End, shop in Oxford Street or visit the many iconic sites.

Long Beach is just a short walk from Camber Sands. This wide, dune enclosed sandy beach is over 2 miles long and is the perfect spot in which to breathe in the exhilarating sea air. The village and dunes were once the haunt of smugglers, whose ill-gotten gains accounted for the prosperity of neighbouring Rye.

Long Beach offers easy access to the UK’s finest beach, ideal for flying kites, making sand castles and spending relaxing family time. This wide open space is popular with windsurfers, bathers and horse riders and there is a network of footpaths and cycle routes criss-crossing the nearby wildlife reservation. When you can’t be outside, there’s a flat screen tv, dvd player and games console to keep you and the family entertained.

Nearby Rye has a rich and colourful history. Its cobbled streets, enchanting church and beautifully preserved buildings are proof of the towns’ importance as a medieval Cinque Port.

Rye played an important part in the defence of the realm. Local fortifications like Camber Castle are now popular tourist attractions. Perched on a hill overlooking the marshes, Rye is the perfect place to explore, shop and eat out. Its charming ancient streets are filled with a great selection of independent retailers, restaurants, pubs and a weekly market.

With the blend of tradition and culture in Rye and the beauty and tranquillity of Camber Sands, Long Beach is ideally positioned to enjoy the very best this unique corner of England has to offer.

Guestbook comments from the manager

We spent a wonderful three days in this lovely house on a freezing December weekend. Bright, modern and very comfortable, with a a well equipped kitchen, wifi and entertainment centre. Central heating spot on! Interesting walks around Rye and Winchelsea, and surprisingly good public transport links for anyone without a car.

What a surprise after so many poor quality rentals.

Thank you so much!

The house was in a quiet area and easy to find with directions given.

  • 4 of 5

The house was as described, clean, fresh and modern in style. Contact with owner was easy and reply very quick. Wecoming treat on arrival. The location was ideal for exploring the tourist trail, Hastings, Dover and Rye which was a delight. I would recommend this house to others.

Excellent holiday home!

  • 5 of 5

I booked Long beach for my husband and I, plus our 16 month old daughter, for a short stay in April. I wish I had booked a longer stay!

We had a warm welcome via a personal note – with cake, yum! The house was incredibly clean and was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. Not just practical stuff in the kitchen, but also a stair gate (our little one loves to explore so this was invaluable), toys, highchair. There was even a travel cot if we needed one. The bedrooms were really comfortable.

Our daughter was instantly at ease in the house which made us feel relaxed. There was a dedicated parking slot just to the side/back of the house which was very useful.

The house was a short walk from the beach and a small playground. There are also shops within walking distance.

We would definitely be staying again and have already recommended it to family and friends.

Lovely home and great location

  • 4 of 5

We had a lovely short stay here. The house was lovely and clean on our arrival and the modern and comfortable decor was just to our taste. The back garden is a little small but it's a lovely sheltered sun trap with a nice table and chairs which we used a lot.

The house is in a very nice quiet area and it is a nice short walk to the stunning beach. We had 2 adults and 2 children and it was plenty big enough for a comfortable stay.

Thanks for a very pleasant mini break

Perfect house to relax and enjoy a weekend break

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend break at Long Beach. The property is a modern new build property situated in a quiet cul-de-sac, which is a few minutes drive from the beach. Although it was December (and rather windy) we did visit the beach and got some amazing photos. I'm already looking forward to returning when it is a bit warmer. The nearby town of Rye is certainly worth a visit and is full of quirky shops and not another soulless high street. There also seemed to be a number of other attractions nearby but quite frankly we enjoyed just relaxing at the house and escaping city life. Will definitely be back and would recommend Long Beach.

Wonderful Cottage

  • 5 of 5

What a lovely cottage, the description was accurate - this home was immaculate and so clean. Beautifully decorated with little touches that made it really feel like a home away from home. Plenty of utensils in the kitchen and the welcome package was great too - thank you for those - a nice touch.

At first we thought the location wasn't too good but once there we found everything to be close and convenient.

This is a great place to base yourself for travelling around to see the sights or just to chill out and relax. The bed was soooo comfortable, shower had great pressure, heating was good when needed and loved the little fire - all so cosy. Internet was fast which was good.

We had booked for a week but loved it so much we chose to stay for another week and if we are ever over that way again we will definitely stay at Long Beach again.

"we loved it!"

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay at Long Beach, it is a lovely, cosy cottage, with all the amenities you need for a relaxed holiday, and close to the great dunes of Camber. The kids also enjoyed it all, they even came along quite happily on our many outings around 1066 country. All places are so visitor- and child-friendly. It was England at its best.
