The house is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac and is 7 minutes walk through a lovely cobbled street straight to the beach.

It is equipped with 2 king sized beds and a double bed. 3 bathrooms, 1 en-suite, main bathroom fully fitted with bidet and a guest bathroom downstairs with shower.

Lounge and dining room are open plan with a marble table seating 8 people. The kitchen has all appliances - washing machine, fridge, electric hob and oven, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster.

There is a small walled garden to the rear of the house.

The Gym is just a minutes walk, plus a bakery/cafe and a supermarket 10 minutes walk away.

A fresh produce market is only a 3 minute walk away.

This is a very modern, comfortable home with welcoming rooms.

Fantastic and relaxing!!!

We could not have had a more wonderful experience! Well decorated and modern, felt as though my husband and I were staying in a hotel! It is located in a quiet area, within short walking distance to the beach and shops. Close enough for it to be a quick journey but not so close that we are disturbed by a busy beach front.

This was a truly relaxing getaway, we had everything we needed and felt comfortable in this beautiful home.

Thank you Pedro & Gail for being such accommodating hosts and preparing the home for us the way you did. My new husband and I would highly recommend this villa and will definitely be back next year! Vanessa & Lieb

belle et agréable maison !

Nous avons passé 3 semaines dans cette très belle maison de Sao Martinho.

Les propriétaires sont très précautionneux et s'assurent de notre confort durant tout notre séjour. Cette maison est moderne et très propre. Son emplacement est idéal : 3 min à pied du marché et du village, et 10 min à pied de la plage. La rue est très calme, non négligeable quand on veut se reposer ! Les chambres sont spacieuses et très agréables. Le seul point négatif est le jardinet qui n'est pas entretenu, et cela est dommage quand, en été, on souhaiterait s'installer dehors pour manger...

Je n'hésiterais pas à la re-louer si je revenais à Sao martinho.

Tolles Haus!

Wir hatten zwei wunderschöne Wochen in Sao Martinho. Das Haus ist toll eingerichtet, war sehr sauber und vollständig mit Liebe zum Details ausgestattet. Es ist noch fast neu ist geräumig und entspricht voll und ganz der Beschreibung und den Fotos.

Die Lage ist sehr ruhig in einer Sackgasse. Den Strand erreicht man bequem in 10 min zu Fuss. Für Anreise und Ausflüge zu vielen weiteren schönen Stränden ist ein Mietwagen empfehlenswert.

Der Kontakt zum Vermieter verlief problemlos und schnell per E-mail. Die gezahlte Kaution wurde umgehend nach unserer Rückkehr auf unser Konto erstattet. Wir würden jederzeit wieder mieten!

Beautiful house

We have just returned after spending a week in the lovely little town of Sao Martinho.

This house is beautiful and immaculate with every mod con you could need for a relaxing holiday. The bedrooms are spacious with large comfortable beds and have large wardrobes, the 3 bathrooms are modern, the kitchen is well equipped with a cooker, microwave, large fridge freezer, dishwasher & washing machine. There is plenty crockery, cutlery, glassware, cookware etc. The lounge /dining room is well furnished and attractive. The only drawback, but which is soon to be rectified by the owners, is the back garden which hasn't yet had anything done to it - but Pedro has advised that this is soon to be landscaped and a bbq built so then the house will be perfect as it is a real suntrap. We had an afternoon of heavy rain whilst there but it wasn't a problem - we snuggled up on the sofa and watched a couple of the dvd's which are there. There are also plenty board games and computer games, and free wi-fi to keep everyone entertained.

The old town is lovely with narrow cobbled streets and its about 10 mins stroll from the house down to the beach, or you can take the glass lift. There are some nice restaurants and bars - our favourite restaurant was Samar which did the best steaks, and the portugese pork is delicious. They also made fabulous mojitos! We also frequented a lovely little bar near the childrens playground which had lovely views of the bay and served very reasonably priced snacks at lunch time. There are fabulous walks around the bay and up to the monuments. All in all we had a fantastic holiday and definitely will return.

We would definitely recommend this property.

Luxury House - reasonable rate

We had a lovely 5-day stay in October 2011. The house is new, spacious and very tastefully and comfortably furnished. It has all modern appliances including washing machine, diswasher, cable TV, DVD player and wifi internet. All the rooms have rolling shutters which are great for keeping the house dark and cool if needed. As the road is a cul-de-sac there is no through traffic and it is very quiet.

If you really want to relax and take it easy this is a fantastic place to do so. Staying here feels like living a millionaire's lifestyle. The beach is a short walk away, and the supermarket, restaurants etc. are very handy. The Baker is literally round the corner and we had fresh rolls for breakfast every day! Meanwhile you can live just as well in the house as you do at home, if not better. It was always a pleasure to come back to the house and know that you can really relax without having to make compromises.

We visited in early October when the resort was obviously fairly quiet, which suited us fine. I would imagine that even in high season it is quieter than the Algarve, so it will suit people looking for that. The beach and bay are very attractive and even in October we were able to sunbathe and swim. A further good point is that eating out here is a little more reasonable, we found it about 20% cheaper than Mallorca. There are a number of different beaches situated around the various headlands and there are great walks and views all around.

The medieval walled town of Obidos is just a few miles away and there are other sightseeing destinations close by. Try their local Ginja liqueur! We highly recommend the house for a really luxurious and relaxing stay where you can do as little or as much as you want and there is plenty to do, all within walking distance. We will be returning in 2012 as the peacefulness of Sao Martinho do Porto has something special.

Beautiful Country, Beautiful House

Fantastic holiday - such a relaxing break staying in this spotlessly clean, beautifully presented house! Would definately stay again!

Just a short walk from two stunning beaches, where we spent most of our time. Obidos and Peniche are both just short drives away, a visit is definitely recommended.

The house itself has everything you could need, comfy beds, towels, a fully equipped kitchen, the list goes on! We spent many evenings relaxing in the hammock with a glass of local red wine, and long walks by the beach to watch the sunset.

We had such a lovely holiday here to celebrate our wedding anniversairy, we will definitely be back!
