Overview

About the property

2 bedroom villa to sleep up to 5 people with private pool, garden and Wi-Fi

NEW and IMPORTANT NOTE: In 2015 the access road to the villa was improved. So there's NO need to use a fourwheel drive vehicle to get to the villa. Even a conventional car with a low suspension and a front drive is MORE THAN ENOUGH to get to the villa.

Villa Casa Soleada is an ideal destination for those who want to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of unspoiled Andalucían countryside (flying bees is the only sound to disturb you!), but still be within easy reach of the Mediterranean coast with its lovely beaches, golf courses, restaurants and shops. Set in its own south facing grounds of 2600 square meters, the villa is surrounded with plenty of flowers, olive and fruit trees (lemon, orange, plum, cherry, fig tree, etc) and garden plants. Two large terraces for alfresco dining, enjoying spectacular views over the mountains and the Med. Gated private parking. 7x4m swimming pool. Practical & newly furnished interiors. Spacious and light sitting-room (Casa Soleada means Sunny House!) with a fireplace, separate dining room/fully equipped kitchen. Just 8 minutes drive from the white washed village of Sayalonga. The beautiful Q-flag beaches of Algarrobo, Torre del Mar and Torrox are within 20 minutes drive.

Very comfortable accommodation with fantastic views

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our holiday. The villa is comfortable, clean, spacious and in a beautiful, peaceful location. The pool is lovely and the kitchen is well equipped. It was good to have British TV channels to watch on the evenings we stayed in. We had some excellent meals, in particular at the restaurant on the square. We hope to visit again and dealing with the owner was very straightforward. Highly recommended.

Great villa up in the hills. Really enjoyed our stay. But beware of the cleaning fee.

  • 4 of 5

We stayed at Casa Soleada for a week in August 2017. It’s in a beautiful, quiet rural location high up in the hills (500m above sea level). The view to the mountains and the sea is amazing and the villa itself excellent. A couple of things worth noting though. The villa is about 4km along a steep concrete/dirt track from the nearest main road. A regular car is fine but a bit of a trek just to get to the local village of Sayalonga. The other thing to bear in mind is that there is a mandatory 60 Euro cleaning fee buried in the rental agreement. This is deducted from the security deposit and is over and above the advertised rental price of the villa. To my mind it would be fairer to include this fee upfront in the advertised price. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and the communications from the villa owner Oleg were always clear and reliable.

Très déçu

  • 1 of 5

Très jolie maison avec vue magnifique. ..

Beautiful & peaceful ! !

  • 4 of 5

We went to this house with our family ( 2 adult's & our son, who turned 2 when we where at the house ). We had a great time. The road to the house is rough & rocky, we enjoyed driving it after we got used to it. Going up for the first time was an adventure. We brought a Tom Tom and it recognised the road and we marked the house so it became easy to find the house. The location is great with beautiful views over the mountains and towards the sea. Great open kitchen & living space inside, nice bed- and bathroom. Outside there is a good living area around the house. In the front of the house there is a deck where you can hang out in the shade. At the back of the house is the swimming pool and a shower and beds. With safety at our minds we did block some options for our 2 years old son so he couldn't go to the swimming pool area alone, and we parked the car strategically in front of a gap that led down the mountain. We had a great vacation and our son to ! !

A view to die for....

  • 5 of 5

The Casa Soleada is a truly tranquil resort suitable for relaxing while sipping a nice chardonnay by the pool. It was fully equipped including sat TV and wifi. The only thing that you might have wished for was a dishwasher. The Casa is located at app. 400 m above sea level and it was a long and winding road, poorly maintained, leading up to the villa. Once you got there, you could enjoy a stunning view over the Mediterranean and the mountains. All in all, it was a very nice vacation and if you are looking for peace and quiet the Casa Soleada is the place to be. And finally, may I congratulate Oleg for the Russian hockey World Cup victory, however devastating being a descendant from the land of a thousand lakes, Finland.

Casita with wonderful view

  • 4 of 5

We had a nice stay in the casita. The road to the house is in very bad condition and quite an adventure to drive on. You sure need a fourwheel drive vehicle.

After that ride you can enjoy wonderful views of the sea and mountains.

The house is comfortable, well equipped kitchen (no dishwasher) bedrooms rather small but okay. The beds are small too.

It is a sunny place with few options to sit in the shade.

3km from the villa lies Sayalonga, one of the most attractive white washed villages in Andalucía. Set approximately 400m above sea level in the foothills near the Natural Park Sierra Almijara, the village remains intrinsically Spanish. It is steeped in history dating back to the Moors. Famous for its wine and honey, this area is also a wonderful base to explore the Axarquia region and surrounding white washed villages. 20 minutes drive away is Algarrobo Costa, which enjoys long beaches and promenade with an array of restaurants and bars. A further 10 km will bring you to the popular resort of Nerja, where the mountains meet the sea. A visit to the famous Nerja caves and Balcon de Europa is a must during your stay. Just under 2 hrs away is Granada with it's magnificent Alhambra Palace and it’s only 2.5 hrs to drive to the mountain ski resort of Sierra Nevada.
