Quietly located with marvellous views and 3 minutes walk to village square

Hi, we are a Swedish family who own a holiday home in Fornalutx - one of the prettiest villages in Mallorca. The house is situated high up within the old part of the village - a unique location! A rural tranquility (in fact there is a donkey almost next door ...) and a marvelous view over the roof tops and the Tramuntana mountains. The village square is only a couple of minutes' walk away.

The house is not huge but light and 'airy' with an open plan kitchen towards the living room. It is furnished in a mix of old Mallorquin furniture and contemporary design. Natural colours; white, grey, blue, green, aqua ...

Lovely garden with fantastic views, a fully equipped outdoor kitchen and a pool! Citrus trees, an olive tree, agapanthus, rosemary ... Classical garden furniture; large dining table with chairs, sun loungers, a bench and some small tables, hammock, cushions, plaids, hurricanes ...

Accessability: Please note that the high location of the house makes it less suitable for elderly with walking problems. For ease with luggage, backpacks or wheeley suitcases are recommended. There is a small road that takes you almost all the way up to the height of our house and here you can also park your car. The walk to reach the house from here is about 3 minutes.

Cleaning & laundry £ 4 per person per night

A booking deposit of 50% is payable on reservation. The remainder is payable after further instructions from us.

Linen and towels are included. Cleaning will be charged with 100 €.
Changeover day is normally Saturday with access to the house from 3pm on arrival day and exit by 10am on departure day. If the house is not let out the week before your arrival an earlier access may be possible.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 7 days before check-in date.
  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 14 days before check-in date.
