About Liz Hunt (Moraira Private Villas)
We are a working couple in our sixties hoping one day to be able to spend more time at our lovely holiday home in Moraira! Until then, we rent our villa to holiday makers, aiming to provide a "holiday to remember" in a "home from home" atmosphere with everything you could wish for, from your own private swimming pool & outdoor summer kitchen to spacious modern living in our well kept villa.
Liz Hunt (Moraira Private Villas) purchased this Villa in 2003
Why Liz Hunt (Moraira Private Villas) chose Moraira
Moraira is a beautiful small resort town with no package tourism at all! There are just a few small hotels. Originally a fishing village, Moraira is surrounded by white-washed villas nestling in the pine clad foothills of the Marina Alta mountains & overlooking fine sandy beaches, calm seas & rocky coves. The area is designated as a conservation zone of extraordinary beauty, where height and density of buildings are strictly controlled. The village itself with its picturesque marina and daily fish market, quaint churches, squares and back streets bursting with shops, bars, wonderful restaurants and markets still retaining their Spanish character are just some of the many reasons why so many people choose to settle in this area.
What makes this Villa unique
Mainly, the wonderful views along with the peace & quiet! Also the spaciousness of Casa Bonita. Convenience of local shops & bars are just 700 metres away. Easy 25 minute walk into town. The four lovely beaches/bays & beautiful Jalon Valley. The amazingly numerous choice of wonderful restaurants in Moraira!
100% refund for cancellations more than 60 days before check-in date.
This is such a lovely comfortable villa, which is very well equipped and very clean. The pool area is very well laid out with glorious views across to the sea. There are plenty of sun beds and umbrellas and lots of others areas to sit and relax. It is well positioned with a leasurly walk into the pretty town of moraira taking about 25 minutes.
A lovely villa in a beautiful location
Three generations of our family spent ten days in this truly delightful villa. It is in an elevated position, set in lovely grounds, with amazing views. The villa is equipped with everything you could possibly require, including beach and pool equipment and toys.
It is a great space for families and each bedroom has an en suite, which delighted our grandchildren!
Every room has a ceiling fan - a godsend in the heat of a Spanish summer.
The welcome pack was most impressive and indeed very welcome after our early morning flight.
Liz answered every query promptly and provided detailed directions and information.
We would love to return to Casa Bonita in future years.
A Beautiful Villa in a great location!
Casa Bonita is a fabulous villa in a great location, very well equipped, clean and tidy. Local shops nearby for daily essentials and plenty of restaurants in town. Great customer service from the villa owners. A perfect holiday villa - would thoroughly recommend!
Perfect Holiday Villa
This is our 5th visit to Casa Bonita and I think that speaks for itself! This time we took our son, partner and 18 month old toddler. They agreed with us, that it is a wonderful villa, in a great location, combined with sea views. The villa has everything you require and is very well maintained. The booking process for this villa is exemplary and Liz provided everything we needed in advance of our stay. Thank you Liz for another great holiday!
The villa exceeded our expectations! Everything we wanted was there to hand, full range of kitchen untensils to use, big spacious villa with excellent views.
Rooms very nice with lovely comfy beds and excellent ensuite bathrooms in every room.
Felt like home! Very relaxing!

Moraira is ideally situated in a bay on the Northern Costa Blanca coast between the resorts of Javea and Calpe, approximately 50 miles north of Alicante and 70 miles south of Valencia airports, with excellent motorway and coastal roads from both.
The Costa Blanca, meaning the “white coast” is on the Eastern coast of Spain extending for more than two hundred kilometres from the citrus groves & the rice paddies of Valencia southwards to the rugged coastline of Alicante & beyond. It is a world full of surprising contrasts that captivates visitors thanks to its scenic diversity & cultural wealth, living in perfect harmony with a mountainous interior dotted with fertile valleys, luxuriant orchards & market gardens.
The region boasts at least 300 sunny days each year with temperatures ranging from 14 degrees in winter to 30+ degrees in summer, giving it a microclimate, which is ideal for both holidays & year-round living. The sea & mountain air is highly recommended & the region is shielded from the cold winter winds of the interior by a screen of mountains. The World Health Organisation has proclaimed that the Moraira, Javea & Denia peninsula known as the Marina Alta has “one of the most environmentally perfect climates in the world”.
Unlike the coastal resorts further south, Moraira is free of high-rise development and package tourism. Originally a fishing village, Moraira is now a lovely small resort town surrounded by white-washed villas nestling in the pine clad foothills of the Marina Alta mountains & overlooking fine sandy beaches, calm seas and rocky coves. The area is designated as a conservation zone of extraordinary beauty, where height and density of buildings are strictly controlled.
The village itself with its picturesque marina and daily fish market, quaint churches, squares and back streets bursting with shops, bars, wonderful restaurants and markets still retaining their Spanish character are some of the many reasons why so many people choose to settle in this area amongst their welcoming Spanish and Cosmopolitan neighbours.
The three main beaches are all European Blue Flagged, zoned and life guarded, two of which are sandy & gently shelving, ideal for family bathing. In fact the whole of the Costa Blanca has 34 Blue Flag beaches - 3 times the number of any other Costa. A range of water sports is available including snorkelling, scuba diving, jet skiing and windsurfing.
Moraira is in a conservation area with very strict planning controls. The luscious green countryside is dotted with whitewashed private villas set amongst pinewoods, vine terraces and orange groves, providing an idyllic setting for those wanting total peace and privacy. The area remains predominately for villa owners and individuals who prefer and enjoy independent holidays. There are good night-clubs for all ages and many restaurants of varying cuisine, eight of which are Michelin recommended with three of them being star rated and not expensive. Golfers are also well catered for at the 3 nearby courses.
Moraira is approx 57 miles north of Alicante airport and 85 miles south of Valencia airport, with excellent motorway and coastal roads from both. Car hire is recommended.
Javea 6 miles. Teulada 4 miles. Calpe 8 miles. Benidorm 27 miles (Water Parks & Terra Mitica Theme Park).
