Luxury Ground Floor Apartment in Vilamoura with free wi-fi

My family and I stayed at this villa in Jun/Jul 18. The correspondence with the owners was great and good instructions. We were met by the a rep from the Management team who was lovely and showed us around the property.

The villa is lovely and modern, everything you need for your stay (would have liked an umberella however we bought a cheap one and used it by the pool and then the beach). The added bonus of uk tv channels was fabulous for the World Cup!!! and relaxing later on in the evening if we fancied.

The pool area was quiet our first week but got a little busier the second, however this didn't bother us as we never had an issue with sunbeds. Yeah! We met quite a few lovely families and everyone was so nice.

I'd say you need a car for travelling but you can walk into the marina in about 45 mins or get a taxi for a set fare (well it seemed to be for 8.20 euros, use the taxi firm suggested in the welcome book, we never had any issues). If parking there are a few free places such as behind Macdonalds and on the other side of the marina near the roman ruins. Otherwise its now pay for parking a few streets back from the marina.

Villamoura is a lovely place to visit surrounding areas. Locally theres golf if thats your thing, lovely beach (Falesia). Play crazy golf at Family golf, take a boat trip (we used Ocean Quest!), eat at the marina but be aware its not that cheap.

Buy in food and wine from Lidls or Continente and enjoy the delights of the villa during the day (and the odd night you just cant be bothered going out) and the marina at night.

All in all this villa is perfect for a family holiday, little ones will love the large veranda and grass area just in front.

The apartment was lovely and very spacious and we were greeted on the day and shown around the apartment to ensure we knew where everything was and how it worked. The apartment has everything you need (including UK TV channels if you are missing the soaps) It was very nice having 2 bathrooms, as it meant no queing when it came to shower time before going out. Parking was very secure with it being underneath with remote electric door access and internal access from there to the apartment, plus it kept the car nice and cool (so no hot seats and steering wheel) The whole complex is very secure with gated access and then further security on the apartment block external doors, along with electric shutters on the rear windows.

Most days we pretty much had the pool to ourselves and enjoyed taking a dip to cool off and played the usual pool games. Their are plenty of sun loungers around the pool and we also had 4 on our balcony along with a table and 6 chairs where we enjoyed breakfast and also where we retreated to for lunch when it got a bit too hot.

We didn't venture too far as it was our first time in Portugal, but spent a day at Zoomarine, which was excellent and a day at the Aquashow waterpark, which was even better, don't be put off by the queues as these go down really quickly and there are plenty of slides for all ages. We only went to 1 beach during our week away and although the sand is lovely, the water was a little choppy and a little cold as expected as it is the Atlantic Ocean after all :)

We ate at the Marina in Vilamoura almost every night which is only a 5 min drive away, with the restaurants catering for every taste possible from Fish, Mexican, Chinese, Steaks to good old burgers and chips. We especially enjoyed Tony's and O'Neils.

Liz was great at keeping us informed leading up to the holiday and I have no hesitation in recommending Liz's apartment to anyone wishing for a great relaxing holiday in sunny Portugal.

The apartment was perfect and the best we've ever rented in Portugal. It was lovely, quiet, clean and modern with good sized rooms and had everything we wanted. We loved the convenience of being able to get to the pool from the terrace and the pool was never busy and most days we were the only ones in it. The kids pool was a good size and the depth perfect for our 4 year old daughter.

The apartment has good air conditioning but it is quite shaded so it never got uncomfortable hot even when the air con is off and you're out for the day and come back home. The terrace also had good shade and so you could go out and have breakfast without worrying about putting on suntan cream. A car is a must as its a little way out from Vilamoura and there is nothing much (that we found) walkable except perhaps for the local Spar. The underground parking proved very useful as the car was always nice and cool and also safe from accidental damage... important with hire car companies wanting to charge for every minor scratch.

We highly recommend this apartment and its a perfect base to explore Vilamoura and the surrounding area and to have a relaxing and enjoyable family holiday.

My Family and I have recently returned from a ten day stay at Condominium do Pinhal. I was traveling with my husband, 7 month old and three year old on our first family holiday.

I would really recommend this property for anyone traveling with small children. The apartment is situated in a quiet location outside town in a beautifully kept complex.

The apartment itself is very well presented, very clean and well equipped for visitors with children. The complex and apartment were very secure and enclosed to residents only.

The apartments ground floor position with generous balcony opening by gate to the garden was perfect for little ones playing. Although the pool is close by it is at a safe distance up steps from the garden and this meant we could relax without the worry of direct access to the water. We had the pool to ourselves every afternoon and it really felt like our own!

Villamora is an ideal location for a family holiday with lots to see and do in lovely weather. I would recommend a car as the apartment is a bit away from the main centre of Villamora and shops are a bit too far to walk with little ones. It was also useful to explore local beaches and towns. Zoomarine was a big hit with all the family. We found the beach at Alhos de Agua was most suitable for small children without the strong currents of Vilamora beach.

The communication with Liz was very efficient and She always responded promptly to any enquiry and the information she sent in advance of our trip was clear and informative. The agent for the property met us on arrival to show us around and give us information regarding the apartment and area. This was very helpful and got us off to a great start.

We stayed at this beautiful apartment 23rd July 2015-6th August 2015, 2 adults and 2 children.

Everything in this apartment is perfect, two bedrooms with ample space for clothes and belongings. There is TV, wifi, washing machine, dishwasher, everything really, anything you need, this apartment has it all. The pool area is superb and secluded in front of the apartment is a lovely well kept garden which is pretty much your own where you can put your loungers.

A huge verander has table and chairs and loungers on which is lovely for shade and lunch/dinner.

Supermarket is about 10 mins walk which we did a few times, a taxi ride to the marina is 5 mins away and roughly Eur8 each way, there is telephone numbers for taxis to call.

This apartment is superb and we had a great time, this place really does have it all and there is always someone cleaning to keep this stunning complex immaculate.
