My name is Tony . We first visited Paphos in 2004, and we were not planning on buying property there at that time, however we returned in 2005, with that aim in mind, and have owned our lovely apartment since January 2006. I think we chose Paphos, because the weather is ideal and paphos never really closes up, there are always plenty of restaurants and bars to visit no matter what time of year you visit. It is a foodies paradise, and we are still finding delightful new restaurants to try. I appreciate the driving on the left, the courtesy and warmth of the Cypriot people, and English is universally spoken. I live and work in the North of England, and escape to Paphos whenever I can.

Why Tony chose Universal
We chose our apartment, because although it is in a quiet residential area, it is in easy walking distance of the heart of the resort, therefore hiring a car is optional. There is a lovely pool area which is never overcrowded, as there is plenty of space for sunbeds. We also liked the idea of a 2nd shower making the property ideal for families or 2 couples, wanting privacy. We also felt that the communal areas were noticeably well maintained and cared for. There is a kiosk around 150m away, where you can buy milk, newspapers, ice cream etc and the ice cream van visits most days. We love eating out, and Paphos excels itself in its choice of restaurants and tavernas. Paphos is also convenient as a base for touring, and is in easy reach of the airport, which is around 15 - 20 minutes drive.
What makes this Apartment unique
We love our property, because for us it is ideally located and it is great to have a king size bed and an ensuite shower room. In the cooler evenings we will use the satellite TV. We have everything we need, the apartment is well equipped and has both ceiling fans and air conditioning for hot or cool air. We like to have breakfast on the large Terrace, taking in the atmosphere.

Walking distance to the harbour and shopping mall.
The accommodation was fantastic very clean, everything there. We especially enjoyed your outside space, the fantastic pool and the Icecream van(right outside the back gate daily). We didn't feel the need to venture far, choosing lazy days by the pool, evening strolls to the harbour, taking in the atmosphere for a nice meal and a drink or two.
Another great advantage was being allowed to store our luggage on departure day as we had late return flights.

8 mins walk to the Paphos Municipal beach. The popular Coral Bay beach is a 15 min bus ride.
Also 2 miles to Geroskipou Beach which is great for children, and can be reached on the waterpark bus.
15km to Paphos International airport, around 15 mins by car.
Aphrodite Water Park is a 10 min bus ride or 5 min drive. Paphos Old Town and market is a short bus ride away or 10 min by car.
The nearest shop is within 150m. The main restaurant area of Kato Paphos is 5 mins walk, Tomb of the Kings area is a 15 min walk. There are a number of banks and ATMs in the resort. Pambis bar and diner is within 300m.
Booking Notes: I require a deposit of £100 per week of the booking (this deposit is strictly non-refundable). A breakage deposit of £150 per week is payable 8 weeks before your holiday, with your final balance. This deposit will be refunded if there are no serious breakages or misuse of the property.
